Slow motion a**holes! [Messing with the Courtyard]

Kogami’s eyes lowered when it seemed that he was he only addressed him. This was the perfect example as to why the world was so flawed in the first place. The fact that someone considered as one of the kings was trying to give him a pep talk. “Well, I guess this small harem has to start somewhere. But do I even look like the type?” Kogami would say as he made a small shrug, it was better than saying nothing. However, Kogami was over it deep down inside. Even though he knew better and had the ability to keep his emotions in check, he didn’t want to. It was as simple as that, and the others could think whatever they want.  Even hearing what Mir said didn’t unnerve him more than he currently was. Kogami instinctively tipped his hat own when Mir said that. However, watching Vera attempt to make a joke in a friendly manner an walk away made Kogami question a lot of things. “Oh? Did you just melt the heart of the ice queen? Wow… I never seen her say anything like that before…. You two must be compatible or something……you should stick around more often, she could use a friend.”



Kogami would say as he makes a small clapping sound with his hands and a small smile, but Kogami didn’t even trust himself right now. He wasn’t even sure as to what he was thinking right now…it was too many emotions at once and none of them were good. However, he was practically good at hiding them. "That's not good, I let my rage slip a lil there. Got to save some for Abruai...

Man these guys were fricken weird. From Ms. Violet actually showing some embarrassment, to the dead guy getting so emotional out of nowhere. His head was starting to hurt keeping up with them. "Alright, that's enough talk for now. I'm going to make like a tree and leave before this gets any weirder. I mean, having Miss Violent cracking a joke like that? What the hell? Though I gotta say, good one! Bwahah! You're not so bad!" Yatagarasu swiped his nose and grabbed his skateboard. Throwing it into the air, a cloud of smoke would appear around it, allowing him to easily hop upon it in midair. "Alright you bastards. Try to stay alive! Can't go dying until I'm the one to beat your asses later, alright?" His amber eyes burned their image into his mind before he kicked off into towards the tower. "Ice princess, huh? I wonder if my heat can't over come that ice block. Hahah!"


Exit

Mir went wide-eyed at Vera and how she made a joke just like that... really, it seemed to her as if she wasn't the type to make them... well, there's a first time for anything in your life, that was for sure. Though what really got her surprised was how... whimsical, even, Kogami seemed to be about this... after all, wasn't he moping just a second ago? And now he was clapping as if enjoying this? Huh, that was a bit weird but Mir guessed not unexpected...

"Harem? What's that?" Tilting her head in confusion, Mir sighed and shrugged, accepting it as yet another weird perverted term, or at least, she assumed, judging from Kogami's way of saying it.

"Well, if it's any consolation to you, sir, I'll do my best to keep them alive... though really, that will be very hard, I assume..." Giving a slight chuckle as she saw Yatagarasu dash off on his skateboard and inside the tower, Mir shrugged again and turned away, walking back to the tree.

"Though I suppose I won't do much to help, huh, Kogami?" Turning her head slightly, Mir gave him a smirk and sat down on another side of the same tree Vera was sitting under, also taking out a small book from her bag.

"Alright then, that was interesting... back to reading now..." Keeping quiet right now, Mir just invested herself in her book, thinking about this whole situation now with Yatagarasu... and this Mikoto that Vera mentioned... just what the hell was going on with all this...?

Kogami didn’t show too much interest as he walked off to do his usual pouncing around the courtyard “Go keep Vera company…and stop speaking so lightly about dying.. it pisses me off… if you want to help… try to do that at least.” Kogami would say as he maintained his usual smile, but there was some disdain in his voice. Kogami lived a pretty bad a life and died a horrible death, but his moments of living and his will to live was the things that kept him going. He hated people who felt it was easy to lay down without struggling as much as they possibly could. Life was precious up to that point, he at least cared about Vera and thought of her as a comrade. Kogami considered the other children as close and irreplaceable, which was why he tried to group them up. Vera was the last one, and he felt like helping her survive could allow him to make up for all of his mistakes.

As for Mir, Kogami thought to himself as to how he was going to beat the will to live into her metallic body. He didn’t want to hear her speak like that, and was willing to smack her whenever she did. However, if kogami was to do such a thing, it would be of good intentions, even though it’s so easy for him to be perceived as malicious or evil. She had lot more to live for then she was letting on. Kogami was having mixed feelings about Yata, he seemed pretty chill for someone to be considered as the enemy. “In a just world, he would be a child.”
