Eko Furui
The Biography
Birth Name: Eko Furui Aliases: The True Self, Shadow Eko, etc. Gender: Male. Age: Original is 21 -- Shadow appears 21. Birth Day: [Original] 7/6/1993 [Shadow] Unknown. Arcana: Jester. Place of Residence: Limbo :: The Dreamscape Aberration School Year: N/A Class: N/A
After School Club: N/A
Part Time Job: N/A
Base & Transformed Appearance:
Base:
In his base appearance the Shadow appears as an almost identical copy of his original self; keyword being almost. For you see, Eko is covered from head to toe in black and white as though he was something ripped straight of an old cartoon or TV show. This strange quirk to the Shadow's appearance is highlighted further by various mannerisms and a few abilities.
The original Eko, appearing to be the same other than that minor detail, has wavy blonde hair and green eyes. He possesses moderately tanned skin and stands at 5'7 feet tall; weighing 136 pounds. He's often seen wearing hoodies and casual clothes.
In contrast, the Shadow's attire mainly consists of buttoned shirts and tuxedos. He's often seen wearing a fedora and on special occasions will swap it out for a tophat. He also carries a cane around with him and, needless to say, all parts of his attire have the same color-scheme as him.
Transformed:
After transforming Eko appears in a more cartoonish fashion. Standing at 1,969 feet tall he dawns a tophat and a menacing cigar. His hands become gigantic and his arms stretch out to impossible degrees all while he sports a bloodthirsty smile. In an absurd attack on all logic and reason within the universe though he somehow has no weight whatsoever.
Two more arms are also present on his back giving him a grand total of four arms.
Personality:
Shadow Self Personality:
Three words can describe Eko perfectly: dangerous, unpredictable, and mirthful.
Eko acts sort of like an old cartoon character might. Though he's capable of speech he never does so and instead prefers to remain silent; interacting with people through gestures and expressions rather than words. He often can take things to over-the-top extremes and never seems to regard anything in a serious light. Aside from that he also cannot tolerate others taking the spotlight in any way, shape, or form and will likely attempt to steal it back at any cost -- most likely trying to murder them in the process.
Eko is rather fond of slapstick comedy and be nostalgic about the past at times. In the same light though he can also hold onto grudges for long periods of time; refusing to redress the other person's actions in the same way he redresses the other parts of the past to be more fond to him.
The "Real" Eko:
Brood, brood, brood... That's what Eko loves to do.
In the end he's rather pathetic. He's not that hard of a worker, he's an immature brat, he's jealous of everyone around him, and all he does is mope when things don't go his way. I suppose it could be said that Eko has never outgrown his childish attitude. He was far from mature then and he's far from mature now.
He's rather awkward around people and quick to anger. Believing the world revolves around him, he lives his life how he wants to live it in attempt to delude himself into thinking he's free of the leash society has around his neck.
The last noteworthy thing about Eko is his fascination for old cartoons and his nostalgic view of how things were in the past. Though he wasn't around for the days of black-and-white television he wishes more than anything that he could have been. For the past is all that matters to Furui and it's all that ever will.
The Potential
Strengths:
Shadow:
—Strength Name: Surprise! —Description: Eko can easily play the role of a stepford smiler and in doing so can deceive most people as to knowing her emotions, or depending on the circumstances, her allegiance. This also applies to other emotions and expressions; which she can easily mimic almost to a perfect degree.
—Strength Name: Shh... I'm Hunting for Wabbits! —Description: Eko has the silence of a thousand gigantic roaring tigers if said roaring tigers never made any sounds ever. Not only does the preference for avoiding speech aid him but he's also rather good at keeping quiet. This aids Eko greatly in matters of stealth.
—Strength Name: Roadrunner —Description: Eko can run incredible distances within a short period of time due to his supernatural running speed.
—Strength Name: The Fourth Stooge —Description: Eko is rather interested in and, at the very least, an adequate slapstick comedian.
Original:
—Strength Name: Good Memory —Description: Eko has quite the memory. He can recall many things and obscure details that others would forget.
—Strength Name: Annoying —Description: Eko is legitimately a professional at annoying others when he isn't too busy brooding. Like, really. He knows how to pester people.
—Strength Name: Good With Animals —Description: Eko has a soft spot for animals and tends to get along with them rather well. His favorite type of animal is a cat.
Weaknesses:
Shadow:
—Weakness Name: Acme Electrician —Description: Eko will, without a doubt, break any piece of electronics he touches whether he intends to or not. He simply doesn't know how to operate it and refuses to try to learn how either via analyzing it or asking others for help.
—Weakness Name: No Such Thing as Physics —Description: Eko has no understanding of any scientific laws present within the world and cannot begin to comprehend even the most basic of them. Due to this he can do incredibly stupid things that are potentially even life-threatening.
—Weakness Name: Absent-Minded —Description: Eko, if not focused deeply enough on a subject matter, can literally forget what he was talking about and/or doing rather quickly.
—Weakness Name: Envious —Description: Eko, as mentioned before, will literally kill for the spotlight. He holds grudges for long periods of time and will actively attempt to harm others whom have invoked jealousy within him regardless of the potential risks involved in doing so.
Original:
—Weakness Name: Quick to Panic —Description: Eko is quick to panic when scenarios don't play out in his favor and things go wrong.
—Weakness Name: Apathetic —Description: Eko's apathy towards others and their feelings is something that drives a large number of people even further away from him. When combined with his obnoxious personality he's almost unbearable to some.
—Weakness Name: Shut Up! —Description: Eko can't stand being around others -- let alone anyone with a different argument or idea then him. He is unwilling to make any sort of counterargument against them and instead will just pester, annoy, or shout at them until they leave him alone.
—Weakness Name: Envious —Description: Eko holds grudges for long periods of time and will actively attempt to harm others whom have invoked jealousy within him regardless of the potential risks involved in doing so. (Note: Emotionally and psychologically only due to exercising self-restraint. This is unlike his Shadow whom will actually attempt to physically harm the individual. However, the original can still attempt to harm others if he loses self-control.)
—Weakness Name: Clutz —Description: Eko will often trip, slip, and fall over things on a regular basis.
Soul Bound Weapon:
Weapon Name: The PUNCHline Weapon Description: Eko wields a small box in combat that normally would be considered harmless. However when he winds it up a large boxing glove will come out to strike his opponents -- dealing strike damage. On the box is a picture of a star.
The box itself is rather small; being only 5.5 inches tall and the boxing glove itself, though large, changes shape. When inside the box it's only around 2.3 inches tall and wide. When attacking though it'll expand to a size of 5 feet in both width and height. Naturally, the glove shrinks before entering back inside. Weapon Attack Type: Strike Weapon Element:
The Background
History: Ah, Eko Furui. You truly are pitiful. You grew up living a privileged and spoiled life. Everything revolved around you where you resided. After all, money makes the world go round.
Being born and raised to wealthy parents may not sound so bad -- and it wasn't, for a time -- but the problem with your parents was that they didn't care for you. You were an accident: a mistake in their marriage and their general lives. The reason you were showered with toys, though you may not know it, was not because you were loved but rather was because they wanted to shut you up and keep you from bothering them.
And so you were led to believe that the world was your oyster -- yet no one else's. The needs of others around you mattered not and instead what mattered was your own wants-and-desires. Yet there's always a line to cross; even if you hadn't crossed it at the time.
After finding out about the desecration of your father's office, your recent scandals, and all sorts of wonderfully horrible things you were cast out and disowned. You went from riches to rags in a snap of the fingers and were left to an orphanage to rot. Quickly you became the target of harassment from your peers and no one around you wished to adopt you -- resulting in a rather miserable upbringing.
Now you spend your days in the Azores Region working a low-paying job and living in an apartment. You still think the world revolves around you and haven't changed a bit but none the less you've watched it crumble around you. However, this experience didn't make you a better person: for if anything it has made you more bitter and resentful to the world around you.
One day while going to work you had finally had it with your strict boss after he fired you. In a burst of outrage you assaulted the man; nearly murdering him. Now you're on the run in fear of the police capturing you; doing your best to lay low. And, thankfully, the recent string of disappearances had given you that opportunity. However that doesn't mean you're free just yet and knowing deep down that you could be caught at any moment you could snap, so very easily...
Oh, dear Eko, this is only the prelude to the story of your demise.

Approved but just for clarity, describe the dimensions of the box and glove.

That boxing glove would be almost twenty feet in length. That is way too big. It'd be 3-5 feet at best for a soulbound. Make it smaller and you're set.
