| It had been a restless night since his meeting with Neith in the... We'll call it dream, as Alex had no real words for what it was. His studies were behind today, as he couldn't take his mind off of all of this. What he once thought was just a terrible dream was starting to shape out as reality. That fight... He was lucky he was unscathed through the entire thing, but still... He was just some gamer geek with no social life, and no confidence... How could anyone expect him to be a hero..."If you're going to BEE this concerned, Alex, mayBEE we should use that key and visit your little friend. MaybBEE then you'll have a bit more perspective on all of this" The voice was startling, merely because Alex hadn't spoken with Ah Muzen Cab since their battle. The bee puns were a welcome change to the stress and worry he was currently feeling. He held out the key that Neith had handed him, before pushing his books away.
After donning a warm attire given the slowly dropping temperature, he was peering around for the blue doors mentioned by Neith. It didn't take him long, now that he was able to see them... He waited till others weren't paying attention, sighing out of his nose once before stepping into... Wherever. "Um... Hello?"

| Neith's voice would ring out cheerfully and energetically in song as Alex opened the door; the guest opening her eyes to find that he was standing right in front of her. Quickly she would adjust to a more calm and collected disposition; hoping he hadn't heard her singing as she now took a seat in a chair on the other side of the table in front of them.
"Ah, greetings. I've been awaiting your arrival, Alexander. It's good to see you again." Neith would speak calmly and collectedly in a shift of mood from her singing. The peaceful sounds of the ocean filled the room and a multitude of fish would swim back and forth as the young attendant adjusted her hat slightly; waiting in silence for a few moments before continuing.
"I trust that you've come here with a great multitude of questions. Or did you simply wish to ensure that our encounter last night was more than a dream?"
Neith would await an answer -- eager to lend her aid to her guest.
- Weakness -- Childish (Before Noticing Alex's Arrival):
- Quote :
- —Weakness Name: Childish
—Description: Despite her strengths and overall ability to take things seriously as well as come off as rather mature it is ultimately dependent on whether or not she does take things seriously that matters. Unless a scenario truly calls for it to an extreme degree, Neith can easily remain carefree about it and altogether not give the scenario the respect it deserves. Other than that she can also act rather spoiled at times when she doesn't get her way; the only exception being when she is interacting with her master or a guest/sibling that she respects immensely.
- Strength -- Maturity (After Noticing Alex's Arrival):
- Quote :
- —Strength Name: Maturity
—Description: Despite her rather large amount of energy and playfulness however one does have to acknowledge that, whenever she feels it's time, Neith can be very sophisticated and serious. During these rare moments she easily gives off a vibe of sophistication, maturity, and authority that can circumvent her childish appearance and nature that would normally result in her simply being dismissed, ignored, or mocked. This can even convince full-grown adults into showing her immense respect and tremendous consideration of her opinions; although it does of course depend on the individual and the circumstances when it comes down to it.

| Alex tried his best not to smirk and comment on what she had been doing a second ago, before speaking to her calmly. "The Latter... Waking up with your... Well, Key? Kind of ensures this is all real... But... that doesn't change I don't understand anything that is going on..." And he would remain standing since no seat was yet offered to him. He was far from a rude person, and would just cross his arms behind his back. Looking over to his.. We'll just call her, short counterpart. | |

| "Ah, I see." Neith would stand up and take a formal bow to Alex as she prepared to explain just what this room was for. Clearing her throat, the girl would nod at him and with that would do her best to explain its purpose. "This room serves many purposes to those gifted with a power such as yours. For now I shall explain some of its key functions that should aid you throughout your journey.""Here you may purchase items and equipment to aid you throughout your journey within the Velvet Commodities. We have a few vending machines setup throughout the Azores Region as well but the central marketplace is present within this room. You may also access memories of your past and bring others into them via the mirrors present here. And finally, what may be the most interesting to you, is the Request Board.""You see, we do not accept currency from your world here. Be it yen, dollar, euro, pound, peso, it is not sufficient enough to purchase our items and there is no exchange rate present here. Instead, we only offer our items in exchange for Velvet Coins. Velvet Coins can be earned in numerous ways but the two most common are fighting Shadows and fulfilling requests. If you aid us attendants via accepting requests from the request board you can be awarded with these coins to utilize in purchasing items, equipment, and other merchandise in our shop.""These are most of the functions as well as the quintessential parts of this room. In the future you may perhaps be aided by this room in different ways but that is information that I'm afraid I am not at liberty to reveal at this time." Neith would finish; extending her hand to reveal the access points to these various places and services within the room. For a moment she stood there before recollecting one last noteworthy factor. "Ah, yes! I almost forgot!" "Through here you may access parallel worlds to your own. But be wary: these worlds are not as safe as your own. You may face many dangers within them. Fear not, however. This is where you Persona will be put to use in trials of combat. For within these worlds is where your strength will be put to the test; allowing you to fight magnificently against any enemy whom would dare stand in your way." With that the young attendant would await any questions or requests the boy had. | |

| HE stared at her directly through the conversation, and waited until the end for her to finish. Most of it was a simple thing, but then she mentioned a few things that merely glazed over in his head. He tilted his head, before asking politely. "..Could you.. Explain both what you mean of memories of the past... and um... what exactly a Persona is... I mean... So far I just know its some bee guy who makes terrible puns..." "I heard that." | |

| "A Persona could be described as a facade or a mask. It is an extension of oneself and the overall psyche. In a similar fashion, Shadows themselves originate from there as well and are in fact very similar to the power you possess. One might even simply call a Persona a tamed Shadow."
"As for the mirrors you'll find that they bring you to just that -- memories of your past as produced by your subconscious. You'll experience a flashback and though unable to interact it with it can witness what had occurred as well as demonstrate it to others. Simply touch it and you will be brought back to days; days perhaps of nostalgia, days perhaps of dread."

| He blinked once, before cocking his head. "And my persona just... Happens to be a... Beeman?" "Thats Ah Muzen Cab. Lord of BEEs and god of Honey, thank you." Alex narrowing his eyes in mild annoyance to Ah Muzen Cab's barrage of smart-assedry. Then again, when you were god over two of the most insignificant things heard of for any diety, it was hard not to have a very forward attitude to replace that of one's mean-.. Ok, now he fully understood just why Ah Muzen Cab was his persona. His attention turned towards where the Mirrors would be, though. "...Is there reason for the mirrors though? I mean... Couldn't we just... Remember?" | |

| Neith would shake her head in response to Alex's statements. "You would know better than I or anything else in existence as to why that's your Persona. Simply ponder over it and I'm sure you'll achieve the answer. If need be, think of it as a symbolic representation of a certain aspect of you or your personality entirely. And the mirrors are far more accurate than simple remembrance will produce for most.""You don't remember something by going through them -- you relive it. Every loss and victory, every ache and smile, everything you felt you'll find yourself experiencing it again. I suppose it'd be most comparable to something some within this world yearn for -- to relive the past or experience a moment for just a bit longer before returning to march once more at time's side." The girl would explain commonly before opening her mouth once more, "Just keep in mind that not all memories are good memories." | |

| "But what purpose does it serve to go back into old memories? I mean... What purpose does that serve us as... Special... Persona using.. People? Wouldn't it be more of a time waste for us to go back into old memories?" Arching his eyebrow a little bit at her, honestly lost as to how such a thing could be of any real use. | |

| [color=darkblue]"There's not an immediate need to go back into the past but it's present if you wish to experience such or if you want to show others with you key-details of events. You can learn a lot about the past as you grow and develop -- and as mentioned before, experiencing something is a lot different than simply remembering it.It's not a necessity but there are circumstances where it could aid you. However, it is up to you as a guest to utilize this room as you see fit. You don't need to use anything in here at all -- just as a consumer in your world isn't obligated to purchase a product or service. I apologize if the aid of this room isn't adequate enough for your tastes, Alex."
Neith would simply sigh; placing her elbows behind her head and beginning to float. If he didn't like the mirrors he didn't have to use them. She personally thought that, at the very least, they were a nice touch to the decor of the room. But then again, Neith was a bit biased.
"Anyway, do you have any other questions?"

| He crossed his arms over his chest, thinking it over but only one real question came up.....What do I do now? He knew what he had and what the room was for, but it was... Still unclear what he exactly was supposed to do with it all. He knew fight shadows, but was that it? Just fight shadows forever until he died? | |

| "That question is one only you can answer." "Times of magnificent and splendorous ordeals await you. I am not under the privilege to tell you what they are nor do I personally know myself; however I can tell that your power will not go to waste. In the meantime I suggest you begin training in the alternate worlds against Shadows. Go out and fulfill requests, spend time with your friends to strengthen your bonds, and stock up on equipment. When the storm comes your way I have no doubt in my mind that you will ever have trouble facing it."With that Neith would return once more to sitting down; a chair appearing behind Alex and a smile appearing on her face. She'd wait a few more seconds before looking up at him -- making sure he didn't have any more questions. Should he not ask anything more, the girl would greet him with a calm look suspended above her folded arms. And with that she would speak five simple words, "Welcome to the Velvet Room." This would, of course, occur only if he had nothing more to ask nor say. | |

| He would smile, and then bow to her politely. "Thank you... Miss Neith... And I promise to make sure I do well in my duties.. for I know it reflects on you as my attendant." Looking up at her and smiling happily at how... Well... Excited he felt about this. It was scary, but at the same time, he knew something amazing was in store. | |

| "I promise to do the same as the one wo will be assisting you throughout your journey to come." Neith would respond; nodding respectfully to him. A now full-on grin covered her face -- the girl clearly delighted to know that Alexander was going to give it his all. For she was more than happy to guide him in that endeavor. If her predictions from her meetings with him thus far were correct, the young boy would make for quite an interesting guest.
And with that the introductions between the two had seemingly come to an end. It would be up to Alex to conduct any remaining business or, if he found he had nothing else to do here at the moment, begin his departure. One thing was certain regardless of whatever would happen next though and that was that the events to follow would be most interesting to observe and guide him through.

| Alex didn't stay much longer. Making small talk and casual talk for a little bit, just to feel more comfortable with Neith. In the end, bowing to her in proper respect and smiling up at her. He would turn, granted she had nothing else to say or do with him, and move out the way he came in. Smiling like a child in a chocolate factory when he was out of her view. He felt rather... Self-confident for once~ [Exit] | |
