Appearance:
Makoto hit the second place prize on youth; soft, pale and unblemished skin. Bubblegum pink hair that cascades down to her waist (which she insists has never been dyed). Her skeletal frame tops out at a whopping 4 feet and 6 inches, and sits at a steady 60 pounds.

A holdover from much stricter institutions, Makoto has adopted their school uniforms even after graduation. A white blouse, plaid, pleated skirt and matching ribbon, and black dress shoes. At the very least she changes up the skirt-and-ribbon colors.

In a more casual, school-less setting, she goes all out. Very girly outfits with ribbons and puffy sleeves and petticoats and tutus in a rainbow of colors, and ballet shoes with ribbons tied up past her knees. Very bright pastels and eye-searing neons. There are days, however, she'll opt for a long black hoodie and plain patterned tights, usually known as "off days".

Personality:
Awkward to a T. Makoto doesn't quite understand social situations and tends to linger around a little longer than she should and doesn't quite know how to talk to people. She has an exaggerated idea of how girls act - giggling or hair twirling kinds of things - that manifests when nervous.

She's less of a "nice girl" and more genuinely kind hearted towards others. The primary hold-up is that Makoto has trouble starting conversations, but so long as someone else starts one she can keep herself engaged, or at least pretend to. It isn't a lie to say that she spends time talking to herself while alone, however.

The Potential

Strengths:

—Description:
An inordinate amount of her life has been spent watching the cult classic Pretty Sentai Drakenger. Makoto obsessed over the cold and calculated Drakenger Blue, whose spearmanship no hero or villain could ever match. She's tried to emulate Blue's fighting style for herself to varied success.

—Strength Name: Seamstress
—Description:
Grow up underweight and under-height and you too would want grown up clothes that actually fit you. By necessity Makoto taught herself how to take clothes in and sew them from scratch.

—Strength Name: Net Savvy
—Description:
The digital age is perhaps the fastest age to grow up in, and Makoto is its princess. She knows her way around the web like the back of her hand. The Dark Net is a particular favorite, where she finds dealers that provide the prescriptions she needs, and things she doesn't necessarily want, but needs.

Weaknesses:

—Weakness Name: Prescription Cocktail
—Description:
A diet of hormones, anti-depressants and anti-anxiety pills are already volatile for most people and Makoto is no exception. Her growth has more or less stunted, she can't hold a normal body weight and she's emotionally on edge.

Adding Persona Suppressors to the mix has had some unintended side-effects: her body temperature's lower and she has bouts of tachycardia - or an elevated heart rate - causing her to need to take a breather, or else face more serious health problems.

—Description:
Makoto has devoted a lot of time and effort into her personality, appearance, voice, beauty regimen. Everything. In contrast she hasn't spent nearly as much time setting up protective barriers. All it takes is a misplaced "dude" or "guy" to flick the switch and make her cry.

—Weakness Name: Aimless
—Description:
Makoto wished for one thing her entire life, and once she got it - or at the very least, as much of it as she could before hitting a financial wall - she lost any desires to do anything else. What more dreams or aspirations can you really have once you've gotten the one thing you always wanted?

Weapon Description: An unappealing looking spear with a six inch triangle blade on its tip. The spear towers over Makoto at about six feet. The staff itself is made of a thin, lightweight wooden material that allows even Makoto the ability to wield it.

The Background

History:
Makoto grew up in a family full of girls. Older sisters of ascending ages, a mom, and no father in sight. Well, that's not entirely true. Makoto was born male but even at a young age tended towards female things. Dolls, clothes, mommy's makeup. She had no interest of dad's sports or hobbies. Through something she never got to the bottom of, dad left.

The sisters were okay with a girly young brother, but as Makoto got older more conflict arose. Mom wasn't exactly the most accepting of her youngest daughter-not-daughter and her siblings were getting fed up sharing things too. The family agreed on an all but one vote to send Makoto off to a school with room and board.

Some sharp wits and quick thinking subverted the Mizuno family's plans. Dorms were split by gender, but why would a long-haired and tiny student named Makoto be a boy? Faculty bought it, hook line and sinker. The joy only lasted so long as the older boys and girls started hitting puberty. Makoto, terrified of both developing like the boys and not developing like the girls, turned to the best place in the world: The Internet. Faculty caught wind of a student buying estrogen in the girl's dorms, and finally put the pieces together. They shipped Makoto off to her own solitary dorm. This just made a bad situation worse, but there was the Internet again, with pills that could take her rotten feelings away. Pills that could get a student through years of studying in what felt like mere hours. Lovely, lovely, pills.

Zela Academy promised a return to form and Makoto dove into that Rabbit's Hole. Hopefully its White Hare wouldn't mind her being Alice this time.

All you need is a weakness specifically revolving around a side effect regarding your medication you'd take when your character awakens to keep her Persona in check. Be as creative as you want to be, and feel free to change one weakness to that so you can still have three strengths/weaknesses. Once that's done you're all approved.

So I'm thinking if I re-worded the uh "Prescription Cocktail" weakness where if she's taking it and in a combat and/or tense situation, elevated heart beat et cetera, that she'd have to not act for 1 turn every "X" turns.

Does something like that sound okay? If so what would a good every "X" turns be? Like, 3? 4?

That's an interesting idea. Tachycardia maybe. Her heart rate is so fast she needs a cool down every so often. If you want that kind of weakness, then maybe every three turns, the fourth would be when you would not act. Or if it's for any situation including outside combat, make it every four turns.
