"AAGH!" Ryuu put his arms up to block his face as the fire washed over him. He could feel the heat on his body. He could smell his clothes burning. Once the fire cleared, he was still alive. Burned, but alive. "Hehe... hey... i'm alive." Ryuu swung his sword at the Shadow.

Alex's instict took over for a second. He saw the attack coming, he didn't explain how, as he dodged out of the way of the flame. He kept his footing as he could hear the proudness of his persona just resonating like his wings. It looked like it was over, though. Alex grinned, as he pointed his hand forward. "BUZZ!"

Akira raised his arms to cover his face as the searing hot flames washed over him. He clenched his teeth tight as he waited for the pain to go away. As soon as the flames disappeared, Akira pointed at the shadow. "Tear him apart!" he yelled. Dolus rushed over to the shadow again and quickly attacked it twice as Akira checked if he got any serious injuries.

His aim was perfect, even without his glasses... Strangely he could see crystal clear now, maybe because of Angel? Could it be that when he was activated he could see as well as with his glasses? He could think about this a lot, but the red brimmed before his eyes and before he could properly react he was hit."...Ugh!" Good thing Angel kept him safe protecting him with his wing in the last minute, but it was funny how he felt the pain anyways. They were truly connected huh?

With the collective efforts of he group, the big Shadow was finally defeated, and would vanish along with the black and white scenery, turning the gym back into its colored state as it once was. The few people around them began to move again, and it seemed that no damage was caused to any of the surrounding area, nor did the remaining students notice what happened. They seemed to move on as though there wasn't a raging battle that just occurred. When it was over, a few moments later the reporter girl came back in and flailed her arms at the team. “You guys were so awesome! I never knew stories like this could exist! You guys work together so well!” she said taking her pen to her pad and writing quick notes. She clearly looked astonished and hyped up by what she seemed to have witnessed. She finished jotting down various scribbles and turned to each person of the group, eyeing them up as though she were studying them for a future examination. “You guys are going to make the perfect story! It’ll be amazing!” she exclaimed while jumping into the air. Finally something interesting she could use! She could make this reporting world better!

Done and done…..” Hyde would say as he strikes a cool pose. “Good job team, now I guess I have to fill you in on a bit more. The distortion disappeared along with the enemy, so it’s safe to say that the personas disappeared as well. They only appear when th- They didn’t cause too much of a scene due to the fact that everyone was frozen. However, Hyde didn’t know what to think when the reporter approached them, it seemed like she saw exactly what happened and knew what was going on. ”You seen that?” Hyde would ask the reporter with But that’s impossible right? Wouldn’t the reporter have to be special or something to be able to see all of that. “ Umm excuse me miss, did you really see everything that happened just now?”

It... it was done? Giving out a sigh, Rita adjusted herself as her vision went from monotone to clear, the colors springing back into her mind once again as her crimson sword vanished from her hand along with Nero. "Phew... so that's done, huh...?" Looking peaceful now, Rita walked over to Hyde as she noticed the reporter coming in as well, ready to ask her some questions herself... "Hey, wait just a second here." She'd interject on their conversation for a moment, looking at the reporter girl with a suspicious glare... "You, what did you see exactly?" She'd look almost cold as she asked that of the girl, though her face would stay mostly expressionless except for the hint of a smile... "I'm not trying to pester you or anything, but I don't think this can be public knowledge..." Rita would say very matter-of-factly before continuing on."If word got out on stuff like this, I'm sure there'd be massive uproar on the streets... I know you must be itching for a story, but I'm afraid this can't be it..." Rita'd then take her glasses out of her bag, putting them on and adjusting them right after. "I'm gonna have to ask you to keep quiet about this, I'm sure I can find you a better story to work with..." Checking her watch, Rita's personality really took a u-turn for the better, a smile appearing on her face now.

"So, what do you say? Think you can keep this to yourself?" Rita's smile at the girl, though it was really more of a mischievous grin, was something to try and keep her in longer so she could convince her... though Rita could surely say that this case shouldn't be public knowledge... and yet, she doubted anyone would even believe such an absurd tale... crossing her arms still with a smile on her face, Rita looked over at the girl, waiting for her answer.

Ryuu chuckled as the Shadow was defeated and everything returned to normal. He was alive. Well, that was no small feat. He turned his head as the reporter from earlier came in. She seemed ecstatic, talking about how she found her story. He just kept quiet. It wasn't like anyone would believe her. High school students defeat big, scary monster in gymnasium? Yeah right.

Then it hit him. How did she see what was going on? Everyone else appeared frozen and left the gym like nothing happened after it was over. The only ones active where people like them, Persona-Users. How then was she able to see that? Was she a Persona-User too? Ryuu called out to her.

"How could you have seen that? The normal people were all frozen. Are you... like us?" Ryuu asked.

Ulike most who was handling this scenario well, Alex was far from ok. When all turned back to normal, he slowly wandered back to his place on the bleaches as he watched Ah Muzen Cab fade back into his person. Sitting down with his posessions, Alex took on a Fetal position as he closed his eyes. Heart racing, unsure what in the hell was going on anymore. While Rita and the others went answer hunting... All he wanted was to have a small silent cry. He picked his game up, resuming it almost immediatly, as tears of fear and confusion rolled down his cheeks.

Akira relaxed his entire body as he fell to the floor. He stared at the ceiling as everything around him changed back to normal. He slowly stood up as the reporter cam running in. He slowly approached the girl while gasping for air. color=#996633]"Wait, you saw all that?"[/color] He said while his ragged breathing returned to normal. "Sweet. We can all become famous for this. Akira jokingly said with a huge grin.

Everything seemed to be over as the last blow was given at the massive, black and gooey monster. As soon as it has began falling, Yuugi saw everything turning white again. His Persona began to fade, as his glasses formed right before his eyes on a flash (that's why he saw everything as white) and soon enough, he was on the ground and nothing seemed to happen. Did it even happen?
His thoughts were soon interrupted by the fuss caused as the journalist came talking about how she had news. The boy just laughed lowly before emerging in the middle of the other panicked younger ones to speak. "Well, well. I wonder what are you really talking about, missy. As you can see, nothing here is slightly different from one second ago when you just crossed that door to go somewhere else. So, if you are not imagining things about my... friends... who just seemed to be going along your little play, you might be imaginings stuff, you know." As strange as it may sound, if he was right after all that years of gaming experience, if all that happened in an alternative reality, frozen time or whatever... It should not became public at all. "After all, someone might gain interest in your strange story... Or people will wonder if you was not the responsible... I mean, the creator of it. Do you get the gist?" He smiled briefly and adjusted his glasses. that should be enough of his suspicions made public for now, and he was sure she understand that.

When the kids confronted her about what she just saw, they didn’t seem to miss what she said for an instant. She dropped her happy and eager for a brief minute, looking among the kids as if studying them. Maybe these were the right ones, or at least, some people that could do something about it. She recognized a familiar face in the group, which was interesting. “Hmmmm? This is a perfect story! Maybe you guys should look around so this can get even better! It’ll be stellar! Maybe go search around those little openings?” she said. In fact, when the scenery vanished, they’d be able to see the few rifts that were now around the area, one in particular looked as though sand was leaking into their world on a patch on the gym floor, signaling that to those who knew beforehand about the portals, some more were showing up around the area. With a smile, she immediately fled the gym with quick speed. If anyone were to chase after her after she went outside, they would find that a blistering wind came so suddenly, and after a small second or two, the reporter girl would be gone from their sight no matter where they looked. What had just happened?

The reporter was gone before he knew it, Hyde sucked his teeth once he noticed that she knew about the portals. “Tch, did anyone catch her name beforehand? A business card?” Hyde would say briefly as he took a look at the portal. “This is a new one, I wasn’t aware of a portal that was located inside of the school gym. “ Hyde would say as he looked over to the rest of the group. “Anyway, we should all exchange contact information and find another time to group up and really talk like this. I’ll give you the rest of the information that I was going to tell. For starters, there is this room called the velvet room that all of you should check out beforehand, it’s full of individuals that are willing to help us with our cause. If you see a blue door, that’s where the entrance is located, you can’t miss it. At best, you should be greeted by an attendant that would fill you in on anything that you might or might not know about. Keep an eye out for text messages too, sometimes these shadow attacks don’t happen in groups. They might even happen to someone you know, separately. A friend, someone close that has no clue about this, everyone is in danger in that retrospect. Also, tread lightly in our world. We cant use our powers here unless a distortion happens, like just now. Also, we can only use them into he other world. ”

Hyde then went on with the explanation about portals. “The portals that you see are alternate universes of the world that we live in. There are some humans located in these worlds as well, there’s also a war going on between two groups that you should check out if you want. There are other worlds I haven’t checked but I’m pretty sure about the existence of human beings across from it. “Finally hyde would give his contact information to anyone who wanted it. Koy was an exception, he should already have Hyde’s number since they were already pretty good friends. “There is way too much to talk about, so just take all this in first. If I have any information, I’ll let you know about it. Feel free to ask any questions you might have as well. There is more I have to say, but I'll let you know once I clear anything up to the best of my ability. Also, I think we should definitely find out who that reporter was and take the time to investigate the portal once we got a little weight behind our punches.“

In a flash, the reporter ran and Rita right behind her, chasing her to the best of her ability. "Hey, wait, damn you!" Though, just as soon as she'd try to exit the gym itself, a sudden gust of wind would punch her back farther through the doors, making her double over and do an unintentional back flip in the air, landing right on her back. "Ugh... wh-what the hell...?" Rubbing her head, Rita got up to listen to Hyde's speech, yawning a bit after it. "But damn, that made me tired... it really was exhausting fighting those things, I found..." Her eyes already drooping quite a bit, Rita hugged her arm and got out her cellphone with it, adjusting her glasses right after by stopping the hug, seeing as the gust actually made her glasses drag out of place. "Alright, I'll take that... seeing as you already have some experience with this, I'll be glad to have your number if something happens." Exchanging her number with Hyde, Rita flipped her phone back closed and put it away in her pocket. "Well... I'll be leaving now... this whole issue was... something, to say the least..." Rubbing her head once again, Rita moved to where Alex was and picked up her things, making sure to give him another pat on the back. "Hey Alex? We should take the rest of the day off, no? That was some rough stuff there... how about we go home now, huh?" With a gentle smile, Rita'd get up and walk out of the gym regardless of his answer, giving him a goodbye wave should he refuse, while actually walking out with him should he accept... either way, Rita would keep her smile to Alex, as if saying "Keep at it!". After a goodbye to the group, Rita'd walk out of the gym normally, leaving the rest of them- the ones who decided to stay -to keep working by themselves for now.
