| There had not been much time for the new trio of friends. Sentinel had taken Rosewater and Maria to the hotel where they would be staying at until he got their living conditions all figured out. Maria being the bundle of energy that she is, couldn't sit still and embarked on many activities with her newest friend, Rosewater. They watched cartoons, drew in coloring books, and before Maria went she read a chapter in "Tales of Ace Detective Kahn: The Renegade Officer Chronicle!" After that Maria was left in her room, and went to sleep. Sentinel drew Rosewater out of the room so Maria wouldn't be disturbed.
Sentinel sat down on one of the chairs before speaking to Rosewater, who could sit on a nearby bed or couch if she pleased. "Now there are a few things we have to discuss about our nature as androids. We talked about these things in Ueitawa, but due to your memory loss we shall go over them again. Is that alright, after this we should call it a night." The android would say looking at Rosewater for confirmation before continuing. After all, he had to establish a few things with her before they moved on with the rest of their hopefully happy lives here. The biggest concern he had was her accidentally revealing what she was to strangers who had no idea that android's existed. That could lead to some trouble and get Rosewater in a bad spot. Not to mention the fact that they had to go over safety in regards to themselves and more importantly Maria. Rosewater was.....innocent to say the very least and would need to be educated in these ideas.

| It must have been hard to tell in the time the two had spent together who was more excited- Maria or the naive android that early joined in on all she had to offer. The television itself had been a great object of interest, let alone the action plots of fictional characters which it displayed. Rosewater hung to every dramatic moment as it were happening before her, and it was rather hard to tell if she knew whether or not what was happening wasn't real in another place and time. The coloring books were worked on as if she had been taking part in making a great work of art, though she'd often color animals shades they weren't supposed to hold given her limited knowledge on them, always asking for whatever Maria would know about them everytime she came across a new one. She hung onto every word that was spoken at the chapter of the story read, facial expression changing in dramatic ways at every emotion and dramatic revelation in the story. It was easily the best time she had ever had upon her reboot, in the company of the cheerful girl rather than her critical creator this time. She was as happy as could be.
Upon being taken in the other room, Rosewater took a seat on the nearby couch before she looked over to him, the pleasant smile that she had worn all evening still being present on her face. She had determined by now that objects such as chairs or what she was sitting on at the moment were things designed so that people didn't have to stand all the time.
She paused for a moment.
"Android? Is that what you would call something like what I am- a mechanical creation, right? I only know that much, and that I am different from my 'human' creator. I'd be more than pleased to listen to whatever information you have to offer. "

| The good news is that Rosewater appeared to retain her ability to absorb customs, and knowledge like a sponge does water. That would make teaching her the rules of the human world much easier. Granted, there were things that even Sentinel didn't know...though he could learn them through books or articles or simple experience. Granted, Rosewater wasn't the first person he would be teaching, he was also teaching Maria as well. Fortunately, it appeared as though Maria and Rosewater were getting along fairly well, no signs of dangerous intentions so far thus everything was good. When she would answer his question, he would offer her a nod before replying.
"I refer to myself as an android, as we are mechanical creations that are meant to reflect human likeness. While we know of our origins our existence is not common knowledge to the public. Our nature is fairly secret, and it is better that we keep it that way. Maria knows of my nature, but she has learned to keep it a secret. Whether or not you reveal that to her is up to you, but it would be wise to avoid revealing your nature to the wider public." The older android would explain to his new friend. Androids were made in secret projects like the two in the room were, or by powerful men who created them for their own purposes, or so Sentinel had come to conclude. The general public was completely unaware of their existence. "Now how are you and Maria getting along, it appears you two are having a lot of fun and learning from one another pretty well."
