Cassius Abbinah Ejfxht

Appearance:
Cassius is a 178cm tall young Englishman. He weighs about 67kg and keeps his stature well-kept. His hair is short, a bit messy and colored white. It is currently unknown whether it is dyed or he was somehow born like this. His eyes are bright crimson and he also wears glasses. Cassius’s skin carries a slight hint of pale, but other than that its no different from your average person his age. Most of the time he can be seen wearing dark grey short-sleeved shirt with red tie and black pants with black shoes on his feet. On colder days he wears his old tattered black coat, which he refuses to get rid of. He tends to change around colors of his shirts, but he keeps them dark.
However, Cassius had to prepare for his student exchange in Azores Region, thus he had to pack some other clothing besides his usual attire. He added couple of pairs of shorts and some loose t-shirts so he wouldn’t boil alive.

Personality:
Because of Cassius’s expressionless face, some may find him harder to approach. Not to be fooled, though, as he is a friendly young man despite what his face says. Every hardship he overcomes with calmness and seriousness. However, sometimes he may seem a bit too serious. All these traits make Cassius a pretty good leader.
Cassius isn’t much of a ladies man, but he can muster up a smile to please. He may not be the most charismatic person or the funniest to talk to, but he is alright talking to people about almost anything. Cassius has a lot of patience, but be warned. As it is with any person with patience, when one goes past the last line, they will truly regret it.
Other than that, Cassius is well-mannered young man. He may not seem like it, but he loves both sleep and studying. Among his favourites are japanese cuisine and tea for example. Oh, he also likes running and playing piano. He goes for a run at least once a day if he has the time for it and plays piano usually in late afternoon, after his run.

The Potential

Strengths:

—Strength Name: Calm mind
—Description: Cassius keeps calm when most people tend to freak out. Even if Cassius himself is worried, he keeps on his calm exterior and tries to pass it around. He does have a limit when even he crumbles, but he can endure quite a bit.

—Strength Name: Fleet of foot
—Description: After finding his attraction to running, he started to develop his skills. He was part of his school’s running team and he intends to keep it that way in his new temporary school. Cassius tries to run at least once a day. He’s also thinking of taking it a bit further than school team, but so far, he isn’t so sure.

—Strength Name: Pianist
—Description: Even though Cassius never went to a music school, but he learned how to play piano on his own. Reason behind this is that his family had a piano and he wanted to be able to play on it. Cassius may have not have attended proper music school, his music still moves his listeners. Now that he’s exchanging for a year, though, he’s not so sure about that.

Weaknesses:

—Weakness Name: Forgive, but never forget
—Description: Cassius has no problem accepting an apology and forgiving afterwards. But be aware, though, that he will never truly forget what happened and may use this against you.

—Weakness Name: Why so serious?
—Description: A friend just cracked up a great joke, but Cassius stays expressionless, a slight smirk at most. This may offend people who don’t know that he isn’t doing that on purpose. It may seem a bit amusing, though, when somebody can keep such a straight face.

—Weakness Name: Backstabbed
—Description: When Cassius was a couple years younger, he got into the bad crowd, until he got backstabbed and beaten up in process. Luckily, before he was completely beaten to a bloody pulp, a year older guy helped him. After this experience he underwent quite a change and now tries to be like the guy who saved him. He still makes sure not to get backstabbed again, which results into him being seemingly more suspicious of shady strangers.

The Background

History:
Cassius was born in southern England, town of Brighton to be exact. He lived in a classic family - mom, dad and a little sister. He attended school, studied hard. He discovered his love for running and joined a team. Bit by bit he learned music theory and started playing on his family’s piano. However, when he was 14, he agreed to get into a sort of a school gang, and did things he isn’t proud of and keeps them a secret. Nobody knew he joined, except for peeps he hung out with. He was with them for quite a while, until they turned on him. Cassius doesn’t know why, to this very day. Thankfully, a guy from his school was passing by and saw the scene. He didn’t wait and helped Cassius immediately. Cassius saw the guy several times after that, but they didn’t talk ever again. This experience quite changed Cassius’s angle of view. Now he’s honest and a well-mannered Englishman.

Some people did notice a slight change in Cassius’s behavior, but they thought it had to do with his “problematic” age. Cassius grew closer to his sister - Krystal, as he didn’t want her to go through what he did. He participated in couple of competitions, played on piano in some of his school’s festivals. Cassius became quite known, despite his shady past years. It was only natural that he was one of the few chosen for a student exchange with a foreign country. At first, his parents were against it, but Cassius had other plans. One of few times he was stubborn. But this time it worked. In the end his parents allowed the exchange. He promised his family to keep in touch, especially Krystal.

Thus, Cassius arrives to the Azores Region, his destination. This place will become his new home for the upcoming year and he cannot wait to see what his new life will throw at him.
