| Never before had Hibiki felt so strange when looking at one of those Red doors. Sure, it led to Limbo, Shadows and all the dangerous things that resided in a lot of Ueitawa at this point in time. This, however was different. Right now, he was not about to go in to fight anything, and just that in itself felt out of place. Still, they had fought a lot over these past months haven't they? Maybe, it wasn't such a bad thing to do something else, even though it was....Well, what was it really? To be honest, he wasn't sure he could find the right words to describe just what he was doing. 'I hope this will end well for the rest of them...', he thought fleetingly, before he took a last look around, making his way inside the offending world of Shadows quickly, not giving himself the time to possibly change his mind. Well, he was not planning to, but just in case. He couldn't say he was overjoyed about the way this had to be done, but there probably wasn't any other way at the moment. Hibiki knew that Kahn was all eager to go gather a team and make a move towards the Gods, yet they didn't seem to be moving at a fast enough pace. Quite a number of areas in Ueitawa were getting swallowed by Limbo already, and they might just all meet their demise if they kept going on like that. A small number was always better that a whole crowd, wasn't it? Yet, he couldn't say he felt anywhere near happy as he stood at the plane, gazing around the eerie place. It was never an easy task to leave people behind. While, yes, he was doing this to help them, it still meant he would never get to see them again after this went down. That was the saddest thing about it. The way he went through life, he couldn't find many things he would miss. He had made friends in this place though, no matter how much in might not seem that way in some of the situations. They all had their own problems to deal with afterall. No two people could be the same. Looking at it from different angles, even someone like Naito could be a good friend, as much as he did not appear to want to admit anything of the sort. Well, maybe after this they'd all at least have a chance to live their lives without this terror, or whatever should he even name it. ''So...this is the end, isn't it?..'', he'd say to no one in particular, his stare fixed onto whatever sky there might be in a wretched place like this. It was almost ironic. Who could have known it would have come to this. He sure didn't, that was assured. ''Well, if anyone hears this, I hope you had your fun, but I refuse to allow this to continue.'' Heroic speech wasn't his forte, but he had to say at least something...afterall he would not get another chance afterwards if this worked the way it should. ''I guess this means goodbye...I wish you all luck...'', he would mutter sadly, sitting down onto the ground. It was now or never. He was not really sure how to do this, but he supposed if he focused on what he wanted, it would work out. Closing his eyes, he would think about the rest of his comrades, friends for the last time. 'I'm glad I had met you all...'''....''

''.................''- THIS:
Universe Ability Name: Grand Atonement Cost: Entire HP and SP Description: This ability is massive enough to cover the entire region. Once within Limbo, the user can activate this ability at the cost of their life. Once activated, Limbo's doorways, and all the red zones and Shadows in the real world will be forcefully absorbed and sealed away within the user. This causes the user's body to go into an indefinite sleep, and with the doorways sealed off from Limbo, there will be virtually no way for anyone to reach them unless they were in Limbo during the time of the skill being used. This unusual ability will keep Limbo sealed away from the real world and cannot be undone unless an equal power counter's the effects.

| Once the unique skill was used, the effects of it were almost immediate. Like a vacuum, the doorways connecting Limbo to the Real World became like hungry voids that swallowed the red zones and Shadows from the real world. Once the red zones within Ueitawa were removed, the doorways soon closed behind them, sealing off the space of Limbo forever. Even the Velvet Room found their freedom, as the red clouds that covered the "plane" vanished and their world was secure. Even though this was such good news, the Attendants did not celebrate. This wasn't a good ending, more like something of a neutral path.
Ueitawa would be able to breathe easier with the red zones gone, and for once in almost three months the sun finally cast down its gaze on the region...
However, there was still the case of the Killer who would surely notice all was not well... | |
