The Happy Trio [Noctis/ Daiki]

The android was a hard time knowing what to make of Daiki's grand compliments of comparing her to God, even if she knew he meant well by doing so. It just didn't sit right with her, a voice in the back of her mind telling her that it was a sin to even think of comparing her to the divine, even if she didn't know what it meant. Thoughts implanted there by her creator, she assumed. Knowledge that she was given without context. She wondered now if she should pay attention to it at all, though, given that she had officially severed her ties with him altogether now. He had, after all, also considered knowledge to be a sin, and Rosewater certainly didn't uphold that view any longer.

It certainly did make her feel...'flustered', was it? At least, that was the word that came to mind. Comparing someone like her, so new to the world to something that was in all ways perfect was certainly flattering. She would take the compliment, for now. There certainly didn't seem to be any harm in doing so.

"T..Thank you. I don't feel worthy of it, but thank you. You're a kind man."

It was only worthy that he should receive a compliment in return, given how many he had given her since she had entered the velvet room.

But there was one more matter to address here, a question that she did indeed hold for the attendant.

"Noctis...how would I enter Limbo?"

“My dear,” Daiki would continue as he looked at Rosewater, “no compliment is too grand when speaking to a lady such as yourself. I dare say I have insulted you by not giving you something more extravagant.” Maybe she would like a lisianthus, or an anthurium, maybe even a gladiolus. There were so many flowers he could think of to give her. He couldn’t even decide which one would suit her the best. He felt like a failure, knowing that he could not place a flower to her beauty and wonder. He would look at Noctis with a look of skepticism, “I refuse to believe you have no clue what love is. Look at this darling, sweet face that Miss Rosewater has and tell me you do not feel anything. No emotion stirs passionately inside of you? I refuse to think such a thing. You have no desire to hold or protect her. For shame, sir. For shame.” Daiki wasn’t very good at differentiating the types of love when he spoke. In this case, he was speaking of more than just romantic love. He was so lost in this topic, that he hadn’t even been paying attention to the discussion about Limbo.
