Tournament of Shadows [Event]

Come one, come all to the Tournament of Shadows! Yes, you heard it here. The Tournament of Shadows!

What is this tournament you dare ask? Well, let me explain. We are creating a PvP tournament for our users here with fabulous prizes for the top two. There will be a winners and losers bracket, so that means double elimination goodness.

The participants of this tournament will be your Shadow Selves that you will control. If you do not know what a Shadow Self is, look at the Character guide.

You will have the choice of using a Shadow Self that can transform into a "True Self" or decide to use a Reverse Persona that's basically a corrupted form of an Initial Persona.

Now as this is a tournament, your Shadow Selves will have all their skills unlocked and available for use. We will also be giving you a total number of stat points you can split up amongst all your stats for your own unique build.

Every participant will have access to a power technique called: Shadow Massacre. More details below:

Shadow Skill: Shadow Massacre
Appearance while in Massacre Mode:
Description: If a Shadow Self were to go into a Massacre, they could cast a Tier 1 skill and immediately follow that Tier 1 skill with another skill in the same post. You can only link up to three skills total in one post. This Shadow Massacre only lasts for three (3) turns, and once it ends it can not be used again the entire topic and all following skills will be weaker by 50% (unless a special item is used). Unlike a Shadow Frenzy, the Shadow Massacre allows you to link any three skills no matter the tier or type.

You can choose any character you want as your Shadow Self or make an entirely new character for it, it's up to you. Characters in the next plot can also participate since this event is OoC and not relevant towards our site canon plot. It's just for fun.

Second place gets to choose any of the available cards from the Velvet Room aswell. Everyone else gets a constellation prize of 10,000 VC if they actively participate.

A number of questions:

1.- Can we use the characters in the tournament outside of it?

2.- This skill, Shadow Massacre, will it be usable outside the tournament once it ends?

3.- Does SM allow you to link up the same skill over and over (example: Agi-Agi-Agi)?

4.- Could you do that with Shadow Frenzy for that matter?

5.- If we participate, are we forced to keep the skillset used on the tournament outside of it?

Those are my questions for now. Also, I'll likely be looking forward to this.

1. No, this tournament is strictly OoC. If you make them as a regular character they wouldn't start with the full load we're giving here.

2. Shadow Massacre is a skill that is only unlocked for Shadows once they max all their skills out.

3. Yes it does

4. Shadow Frenzy is specifically made so it's more limited. You can't go Agi-Agi-Agi. It has to go Tier 1 to 3 and be the same type of skill.

5. Considering this tournament is OoC no. These characters used, if made as normal characters, will not start off at maxed stats.

Well, now that I have time again, I shall join this :3

Not sure who I'll be using yet tho. Most likely I'll use my Shadow char that I haven't had the chance to yet. I am tempted to use my next plot main char, but I don't even have him finished right now lol.
