Time ticked by daringly slow. As if everything in the Heartfelt Bakery had crawled to an abysmal trudge through a frigid wasteland. Zavie would stare with dull eyes at the sales floor, barely anything having been moved all day. He couldn't believe a day could be this slow! Sure, they usually weren't super busy... But there was a nice line between busy and slow, and this definitely crept haphazardly into the slow portion.

Regardless, the boy was in the bakery as per usual. Sitting at the counter with a hat on his head and a lazed look on his face. There really was so little to do today that it made Proxy bored. Who knew being a prisoner could be so dull?

One step at a time, Frog broke the air, enjoying the slight breeze it left against his cheeks. He made his way over to a place he remembered from a couple of days ago, a place he liked quite a lot.

And he felt for some reason like he'd like it even more this time, so he hurried.

Through the city, without much reason, he eventually got to the Little Tokyo. Yes, the fabled weeb destination of Endymion. But he wasn't here for the culture. Nono, he was here for a certain bakery. The Heartfelt Bakery. Sure, the name was cheesy and kinda cringy, but the rest of the place was perfect. Last time he got here he was lost, but now he was found. Yes, even if this sentence made no sense, he was found.

Opening the door, he entered the small shop, immediately scanning it for any sign of the small bakeryman. If he found it, he'd wave at him. "Hi there."

The boy and his shadow would mull over mundane thoughts as they attempted to pass the time. There was just not a lot to do today for some reason. He'd let out a sigh, sitting up on the bench to look out a window with dull eyes. Maybe his cats would have something to do...

However, that train of thought was instantly broken as he heard the bell ring as the door was opened. He couldn't believe it! An actual customer was here now! This was great!

"Oh oh! Hello, and welcome to the Heartfelt Bakery! Can I help you with anything? I am here to help out in any way I can!" he'd say cheerily from his position behind the counter, on the verge of standing atop the stool to try and make himself even more noticed by the customer. Though, there was something familiar about this one that made him smile even more.

"I remember you! You bought some bread for your mom a few days ago. Did she like it? I hope she did!" he'd say with an eager tone to his voice. He didn't tend to forget customers even if he was quite forgetful at times! Well, er, when it came to not important tasks he wasn't that forgetful.

Noticing the boy was no difficult feat, as he practically jumped up immediately when he noticed Frog, promptly opening the conversation with an inquiry about their previous encounter. Meanwhile, Frog waved at the boy, walking deeper into the shop. "Gee, you actually remember me? From that one time I bought something here? Are patrons really so scarce around here?" He asked, confused but still keeping that spontaneous snarky vibe to him. The waft of bread dulled it, however, so it was fairly less noticeable. Not even Frog felt like he'd said something wrong. Just an honest question.

"Oh, but like, yeah, she loved the bread, and I too can vouch it was pretty great." Frog showed a thumbs up to the boy with a slight smirk. "Do ya have anything good for me today?"

He'd let out a small laugh, a cheerful smile on his face. Of course he couldn't forget someone as strange and unique as he had been! Their conversation left him a little confused... But he still enjoyed talking to him and getting to know him a little from last time! It was really great!

"Well... No, but I usually do not stay on the register if it is a busy day." he'd say with a small laugh, clapping his hands afterward. Good! They liked the bread! So that meant he'd come back for more in the future, right? That made him ecstatic!

"Ah, I am happy to hear! Is that why you are here today? Did you want some more?" he'd ask with a small tilt to his head, an eager look on his head. He hadn't sold anything in a while, and it had been such a slow day! He couldn't wait to do something great.

"Oh, alright, so when I see you through the window I can be sure that there won't be any crowd or lines and I'll be able to get everything done quick and clean! Thanks!" Frog replies to the boy, walking over to the register. "Anyways, yeah, I'd wanna buy something, but I'd maybe like something different than just regular bread. I mean, you have lotsa stuff here so there's gotta be something cool and tasty I could get, right?" He asks, looking around the shop. There's so much potential deliciousness that it almost makes his stomach crawl just being in their presence.

Frog stops right there, looking at Zavie expectantly and with a smile on his face. He's brimming with an excited glee apparent in his eyes and body language, as he twiddles his fingers and glances every now and then at the foodstuffs around them.
