Starting Early are we? (Streya) (Night)

She would stay in motion taking note of how quickly the other reacted. The side step threw her punch off and would seem to put her in danger’s way as the man quickly countered with a hook of his own that came at her face from the right; however, instead of panicking or being shocked, Streya would bring herself left hand up to protect her head. The guarding left hand would protect her from some of the heavy blow. The rest would be softened as the woman shifted her weight and body in the man’s direction to move in closer, causing the strike to wrap around her the back side of her body as she moved along the curve of the arm, closing the distance. With the distance so close the man shouldn't be able to throw another attack....unless he was quicker than she thought, so staying on the offensive, she would lower her stance and put her weight into a short, yet powerful jab to the man's stomach as she tried to wind him.....

Johnson felt his blow hit, but it was only glancing, so she was doing her best to avoid getting hit and using her momentum. He hastily pulled back his striking hand as he saw her going for the jab to his stomach, very smart, and following the curve of his arm was also wise. She was smart, quite smart, and he knew that he could not block the jab, so he set his body into motion to prepare for his next move. He moved his body just enough for the punch to strike somewhere less sensitive, she would feel her fist hit something hard...his waist. She was not going to be able to wind him easily, if she thought one punch was going to take him out...well she was going to learn how mistaken she was.

In the same moment his left hand snapped down and grabbed her outstretched hand, he could take a few hits, but he did not make a habit of taking a hit without giving one back. He was likely stronger and had far more experience than her, and once her arm was in his grasp, he would take a step back to make a little distance, while he had a hold on her. With the distance made she would have to respond to this new counterattack, and one of her arms was being held by him. He angled the blow down at her face given how she dipped in her stance. She couldn't go up into the strike, unless she wants to find out how hard her head is. Unless, she found someway to pull away from him, then she would have to deal with her limited mobility, and the fact that he had made enough distance to counter attack.

Oho! How delightful!

That was the thought that ran through Streya’s head as her jab missed the target it was intended for and instead hit the more solid waist area of the man. He was quick to react and even quicker to counter. Something that showed he was indeed a formable opponent. The fact the man hadn’t been bluffing only made the woman’s hot blooded nature flare with joy as she finally found someone to that actually give her a worthy fight and not just sit there and become the receiver of her fists.

As he caught her right hand as it moved forward, she would see him open a gap between them before making his strike angled downward and at her face once more.  Oh? So he wanted to play that way, eh? Alright. First things first. Keep the face in more or less one piece.

From her lowered position, Streya would step to her left tilting her body and head enough away from the blow that it would miss her face by inches and instead hit her more boney shoulder area than her soft face. The blow hurt for sure, the male holding more power to his punches than herself for sure; however, Streya was a warrior and if he thought a bit of pain would stop the woman he was quite wrong.

She would continue to move forward causing her to end up directly to the side of the man as she came back up to a balanced height. As she moved, her right hand would swing upward and tilt back so that the back side of her hand was against his wrist. The sudden movement should’ve losen the grip upon her wrist enough to give her some wiggle room.

If so, the woman would sweep her right foot to the side as she turned her hand around in the grip so that she was now holding onto her captor’s wrist. Keeping a firm grip on him, she would attempt to pull him with the turn she made in an effort to drag him off balance as her left hand came around to go down on the elbow. If it all worked the man would find himself on the ground with an uncomforortable pressure on the back side of his elbow with Streya now slightly behind him with enough space between them to avoid a counter should one come.

The uncomfortable pressure was a sign that she could’ve broken his elbow if she wanted to, but it seemed the woman wasn’t aiming to fully damage him like that and so stopped her full action, showing she had control of what she was doing and that she was far from amateur in this field.

However as she attempted the move, she wondered just how successful she would be. After all her opponent had already proved he was quite crafty.

The older man felt his fist hit her shoulder, and realized that he had missed his target. A target that wasted no time in continuing her attack, so she was willing to take a hit and keep on the attack. She was more like a berserker than he had realized. He felt her sudden movements and he knew a loose grip was just asking for trouble, so he decided to go ahead and release her before she grabbed his hand. No need to give her an advantage by letting her turn it around on him, and he did not like how she was shifting around to his side. He turned to her and took a dash back retreating to the point that there were a few good feet of distance between them. Her attempt to sweep the foot would net her nothing but air as Johnson had quickly retreated.

He smiled and gestured toward his eyepatch, "You wouldn't be trying to take advantage of an handicap would you? Always going around me?" He said chuckling a little bit, it was true that he could not see and lacked peripheral vision, but now he had made distance and was feeling a little bit better. So, she knew how to break a grab, and knew a bit about fighting that much was clear. This could actually be a good workout, and he wanted to revaluate his stratgey, maybe a simple take down would be better. If he could get the right grip on her then he might be able to put an end to this.

She attempted her move, but the man seemed to be more clever than he let on to be. Instead of getting the end result, she wanted Streya found herself stumbling forward with her own momentum. A bad thing if the man had wished to take advantage of that; however, her opponent decided to take a different tactic and instead used the moment to gain some distance between them. Recovering from the fall, the woman would turn to face the other her stance still tense as she gave the other a smirk.

“Take advantage? Now what gave you the idea I was trying to do that?” she would tease back in a good natured way. This guy was tough and any counter she pulled he had an action to cancel it out. She needed to find a way to bring him down, but how did one do that if the one you were fighting was actually good at fighting? Frustrating? Not at all. That just meant she would have to play her cards a different way. Smirking she would eye the man as she shifted her weight back to a relaxed stance.

“Alright doll, I think we are pass the whole ladies go first deal, so come on. Show me what you have,” she would taunt as she gestured once more for him to attack first. Now it was his turn to show her exactly what he would do.

The older man smiled and shook his head a bit, of course she wasn't taking advantage of that at all, he shifted into his battle stance, "Oh, I'm a doll now? Do I look like something you can dress up? Honestly, I always figured myself to be a G.I. Joe." Johnson said teasing right back, before hearing her request to charge and continue the fight. The older man paused if considering something, "Or maybe, I just offer to buy you a few more drinks. You've proven that you have skill and can handle yourself. You're the kind of person I would not mind spending a night drinking with. If you would be willing to spend a night drinking and telling stories with me." He offered, a truce to their fight, and he was offering something that she might very well like.
