He was aware it had aimed at him before, but would it have helped to not attack instead? Unless he ran off, it would still most likely hit him in the end. Although, that was just a speculation. It seems that their attacks knocked it down before it got off the planned attack, so it probably was a better choice to not loiter around this time.- Stats:

—Description: Along with moving faster in dungeons, Viv has found that she can attack more enemies before they have time to react. This gives her the ability to use two dexterity attacks in one turn, but only in combat against Sfalma. In a combat situation with normal people, she is only able to attack with her soul bound once, but she will also have another boost in speed. In PvP, this will make her faster in terms of her soul bound.

—Description: Vivian has proved her courage in many ways, mostly by the act of volunteering to assist the forgotten program so she could become a weapon. But even before this, she would face any situation thrown at her with a straight face, and sometimes with a sarcastic smile. She usually struts around battles, and will move up to Sfalma with no problem, sometimes staring them directly in the eyes before she takes them out. This means that she won't be scared easily by anyone or anything, keeping a straight face in all types of dangerous and life threatening situations, no matter how extreme.
—Weakness Name: A slight setback
—Description: Sometimes, Viv overestimates herself, which causes her to think she can win impossible battles and do things that she really can't do. It's not really narcissism but more over confidence in her abilities. What this means is when in combat, she would have a harder time running from the fight if she thought she could win, and she may throw herself into fights that she can't necessarily win
—Weakness Name: Only one
—Description: The only person in Viv's life that really matters is her little sister, mostly because she is the only person that makes the woman feel alive anymore, and she is the only family she has left. If anything was to happen to her sister, she would be lost in life, basically having nothing else to live for. After that, she would probably throw her life away to exact revenge on anyone who hurt her. Basically, her story ends when her sister's life reaches it's end.
—Weakness Name: A bit too much
—Description: Vivian definitely has confidence, that's for sure. but sometimes that can be intimidating towards people who barely know her. Most people don't like to associate themselves with her because of this, opting to stay away rather than get to know her. This is mostly a burden in her line of work, since having more allies helps when going through dungeons and trying to explore the tower. She likes doing that alone, but won't turn down help if it ever came her way, though this might prevent people from even approaching her in the first place.

| "Bzzzzt." The Effigy fizzled lightly as it emanated a buzzing sound, before it shifted with a click as it got up slowly, to a more recognizable voice.
"Hehehe... I wasn't expecting him to be with you." A somewhat cheeky female tone resounded, still distorted by static, so perhaps this wasn't its real voice? Well, it was close to it, if nothing else. "Go on, destroy the shell already. It can do nothing to stop you." There was an obvious tinge of amusement in the voice as the Effigy stood still, waiting for their final attacks. It could do nothing else, after all, only expect.

| "Peeeeh, you old fart, it's already been downed! How can you say how long it'll keep standing if it hasn't even stood for very long?!" The voice coming from the Effigy only got more challenging as it went down, cracks slowly forming in it, metal breaking away to reveal... well, nothing. Behind the metal was simply air, maybe a few wires. As the thing broke down with the final hits, its face dropped to the ground hard, smashing itself cleanly to reveal a very obvious transceiver.
The voice spoke from it again. "Bahahaha! You guys thought I was inside this thing?! What a joke! And little blonde sir, you usually say please when you ask a question. Well, rejoice, you're alive and there's nothing this joke of a walkie-talkie can do to you. How's it feel, huh? Refreshing? Well, be free, little birdies!" Though the transceiver wouldn't shift, each of the combatants here could feel themselves being observed one at a time. Who did this voice belong to exactly?
"You little shit..." Emile wouldn't take any of it, but seeing as the battle was done, the young man felt himself stagger and shift back to his regular human self, a dark mist being released from him. "Fine, have it your way. I didn't need to ask you anything anyway, I can just figure it out when I see you." The blonde young man went to pick up the transceiver, looking at it closely. Seemed whatever was going to happen now, they were safe, at the very least. A mechanical whir could be heard in the distance, way up at the top of the Colony, but any citizen worth praising knew the emergency wall reactivation alarm. What were they going to do now?
