Shiina stopped in her tracks the second she took notice of Claire's situation. The Wild Card's eyes went wide, and her mind was telling her to rush to the other Cadet's side... fortunately for the group, Jinguu held her back by a shoulder to prevent her from running from the fight.
//"Wh-what..?! Miss Claire, please respond!"// The Cadet's eyes shifted to a shade of golden as her Persona acted, but for a moment, the despair in her eyes from having to witness her superior on the ground, powerless, made them appear as if crimson...
//"You foul demonic beast! Explain what you did to Miss Claire this instant!"//
The Wild Card didn't seem to actually notice her teammates' actions, as her mind passed over the healing entirely-- this was no fault of her own, she was simply panicked, too focused on getting answers as to why their ally, who was supposedly even stronger than they were, was now on her knees without so much as a fight.
//"If I end your life, will you return Claire to normal?!"// Jinguu acted by her instincts, and charged forward to swipe at the beast with a freezing slash once more. Whether it hit or not was simply luck; the Persona's wild nature combined with Shiina's inability to focus made it little more than a simple beast. Was this the nature of one who was controlled by their own Persona..?

Out of nowhere their situation had grown far more desperate than Athena could anticipated, the presence of Claire, however doubtful the young model was for the veteran's intentions, helped for the morale. Claire was an experienced cadet and should things went south she could always step in to assist instead she was the first one to go down, though the cat's trick probably worked of her due to being exposed to Alice's abilities longer than them.
"Cl-lair is down!"
She managed to utter as she watched their instructor collapse on the floor. Even though it took mere moments for her body to hit the ground Athena felt as if time itself had stopped. At that moment the young cadet realized two things. Firstly, they had to kill that demon as soon as possible lest they could meet the same fate Claire did and secondly, nobody was safe from Alice's tricks, a single mistake would cost their lives.
"That thing has to be vulnerable somewhere! We need to take it down quickly!" She finally suggested breaking herself out of the trance her fear has caused her, after all fear was not a feeling she could afford to have at that moment.

He supposed that was a no to all his inquires considering the response given; however, as he heard the cat speak, he had to wonder about its words. No going back home? Delusions? Memories? What was this cat getting at? Was it saying they were trapped here or was it hinting at something else?
He didn’t like what the cat was implying or the uncomfortable feeling this whole ordeal left within him. The feeling only increased as the cat smiled and flicked its tail to the left; however, before he could figure out this small detail, the situation only got worse as Claire unexpectedly went down.
While she hit the ground like a rock, her eyes were still open..She was conscious, but seemed to be elsewhere for the time being. He wasn’t sure what that meant and if it wasn’t for the cat and other issues maybe he would’ve gone to her, but alas he was not at liberty to do so. Damn this place and the cat. There was too much going on here, but he needed to focus
Focus.
“Shiina. I understand your feelings on this, but do not let feelings rule your actions. As Athena said, we need to focus and deal with the problem at hand quickly. Don’t panic. We can do this is if we work together.” Despite the situation or how he felt, his words were calm and steady. Though ironic too.
Heh. Odd him trying to give encouragement. It was so unlike him and yet in this situation maybe he did it not only for his team, but to convince himself and chase away the thoughts that they would fail. They could beat this thing….They had too. Had to survive and make it out of this. Even if the situation was bleak and this place was tearing them apart in various fashions, they had to try.
And so try he would as he moved from his position behind the cat and moved over to the left….the direction the tail had swung. This could be an all around bad thing being in this spot, but at least if something bad happened it would be on him and not the others. Besides this was an angle, they hadn’t tried yet….So here goes nothing.
With that thought he would give his mental command to the persona, the biting pain soon a distant memory as the persona moved forward with its weapon at the ready to deal its attack...
Passives Arcana Boost:+ 15% boost in damage resistance against physical-based skills and +15% boost to their Ppstr.

"I've done nothing. Someone else has touched the mind of that thing you'd call your mentor. I've simply helped them recall the memories they tried to hide from themselves. Memories are a slippery slope, but living a lie becomes that which most despise. You shall see, Children. You shall learn. This city is on the edge. An edge that's forever tipping, looking to claim it. Your Queen can only protect your fragile minds for so long before you truly remember the events of the Eternal Divide." The Demonic Cat spoke to the Cadets as its golden eyes shifted to look towards Claire before back towards them with a large smile.
Their words towards their upperclassman had no place to go. Her mind was elsewhere, meaning their words fell on empty words. Remembering the truth of your life took a heavy toll on the mind. Especially when it was your entire life, leading up to your inevitable death.
Claire's story pt.2:
Last night was the last memory Claire could recall. A basic routine with Chris turned into something much worse. Those two figures she had run into were the last two people she'd ever see while alive. The only thing she could really remember was the numbing pain that coursed through her body and the figure of the Masked figures standing over her broken body.
Slow footsteps stepped over her in those memories, and it all became too clear. They were monstrously strong and were able to take her and Chris down with little to no effort. And though Personas gave no physical injuries, they had purposely made their defeat as bloody as possible as if for some sick enjoyment. Though the wounds were not fatal. Why? Because as they said...
"Kill you? No, No, No, No, No, No, No. If I were to kill you then that'd breach my little contract with your young cousin. And even though that doesn't really concern or bother me, I'm a simple man who enjoys his simple treasures." The Masked Terrorist bent down and grasped Claire's bleeding head and drenched hair. "My simple treasures involve the sweet smell of burning flowers on the wind. Those first two years after the Eternal Divide were truly delectable. That was when we were under the dominion of the true Queen, yet this false idol of a Queen emerged and found clarity within the people. It was a shame, but those closest to the true Queen still hold that very depravity within them." The Masked Man took her head and shoved it hard into the dirt while casually raising his other and digging it into the back of her skull. "Her essence still exists within our very bodies. And because of this, we can always reawaken the seed she planted in this world. You're no different. We'll remind you of your true self, but not only this. We'll also show you true depravity that only her touch could ever provide. A true form of freedom only a newborn child could understand. Welcome to our Jest, Golden Bee." The Man chuckled as his fingers physically penetrated her head and cut into her skull. Chris watched, but could do nothing, as he himself was currently being picked apart by the young woman dressed in bandages.
They were not only being brought back to their terrorist days... No, these two weren't keeping their promise as one would think. They were awakening the seed planted within their brain in an attempt to infect them with.. something. And while Chris, now back to his Persona, Skelter, could break free from their grasp, Claire could not. Whether it be the wounds, the hand digging in her skull, or her very on will, she was paralyzed. She reclaimed her memories as Golden Bee, but she cherished her time as a cadet aswell. Though she was brainwashed, her memories of being a cadet were not bad. She loved her team, and she was honored to fight by Julius' side. This contemplation within her sent her mind into a downward spiral. The screams of agony and blood soaked tears were only drowned out by the maniacal laughing from the two Masked vigilantes. However, they suddenly stopped their giggling and backed away from the two previous cadets.
"It appears our time is up. Your cousin will be our next stop this night. If he is to assassinate the Prince, which he will fail in doing, he will need to have the potential. Something we can provide on the cost of his sanity. We bid you adieu." The two bowed and vanished in the night. Skelter was able to pull himself together and make it to Claire's side. Though, what he saw wasn't what he expected. The giggling that escaped her lips caused him to back away and grasp his gun. He raised it towards the woman, yet the rest was a blur... Her eyes shot open.
The battle with the cat was of no concern to her as she raised herself from the floor. Giggles escaped her lips as she pulled out her gun and sword. Slashing and shooting wildly, the woman began to laugh before she ran off. There was a flash of a Persona that appeared behind her deranged new appearance as she disappeared within the brush of the domain.

Damn…There was no winning this battle was it? If they couldn’t touch the cat and the beast could deal out such a blow as to knock one out relatively quickly, then they were indeed in trouble. Even so, Haru managed to stand his ground as he gritted his teeth and watched as the cat raised its paw. It was in the left direction again….Did that mean it was going to attack Shiina again? Or was that one coming for him? It was hard to tell at the moment, but he didn’t like it regardless. They needed to get out of this and fast otherwise this would turn uglier, but first an ally was in need.
As Athena got Shiina back on her feet, Haru would move from his current position and move to the front where he was now face-to-face with the cat. He didn’t like being in front of it, but maybe facing it head on was a lot better than potentially standing in a dangerous spot. Even so he did not attack as he instead focused on healing his ally. He would perform his task well enough, but soon enough something would happen that would actually crack that calm shell of his and cause him to hesitate.
It started with the cat’s words. It claimed it did nothing to Claire except help her remember memories she had forgotten. That something else had already gotten to her. To make matters worse, the cat turned the whole situation back on them, saying they too were not remembering things correctly. That they had forgotten how the Eternal Divide really was, but how was that possible? He remembered that nightmare clearly so what was he missing? He narrowed his eyes at the cat and perhaps would’ve asked; however, just as he thought about making any comment Claire decided to come around….quite snapped it seemed.
Not prepared for this one, Haru dropped his guard slightly as he saw the woman pretty much go berserk and then run off laughing. This new turn of events left him a bit shock before he was shaking his head and looking back at the cat and his team members as he found himself stuck between two conflicting emotions. His persona sensed the conflict and looking over at him seemed to grin behind that face plate.
"Are you scared, master?" it would whisper to him, its voice laced with glee as it watched to see exactly what he would do. Ironic thing was...Haru didn't answer it back this round, but why? Was he really scared or was there something else pulling at him?

Haru would hesitate for a moment as his mind became torn between the desire to leave and stay. He was worried about Claire. While she had snapped in some fashion, he wondered if she could actually be saved and while his first impulse was to follow her, he knew he could not. They already had somehow become a three man team and while his concern was high for their superior, for now he had Athena and Shiina to watch out for. He couldn’t abandon them to this cat…. "Or can you, master?"
His persona was taunting him as it leered at him from behind its mask, the place where its eyes were a dark void. Tch! Why was he even questioning himself right now? He would not do that. He couldn’t....
Finding his resolve again, he would plant himself firmly in his spot as he looked over at Shiina and gave her a nod in response to her words before his eyes focused on the cat as it lowered its paw... but then began to flick its tail left to right. Left to right. What did that mean?
Narrowing his eyes at this, his grip tightened on the weapon. He didn’t like this, but maybe if they could hit a weakness or hit the creature from the right angle they might be okay. Maybe...

As the demon felt down a new sensation overcame Athena, for a single moment she forgot about her worries and anger. Even the idea of "Claire" going mad and taking off on her own faded from memory in order to give room to this new feeling. Despite the empathy and understanding of emotions she was unable to exactly pinpoint that feeling alas she didn't have the time to ponder on that.
As quickly as it had came the sensation had faded allowing Athena to maintain her composure easily. Still she felt more determinate than before, perhaps if she defeated the cat the feeling would return?
"Everyone the demon is down. This our chance to finish this!"
