| "Don't trip now." As Shion jumped into a semi-hidden rift in Penecia, she stuck a hand out, grabbing her lover's to help her into the ruined city on the other side. This was actually impressive, considering she hadn't actually been here before. Once Lia was in with her, the brunette took to surveying their surroundings, making sure her knife was nice and tucked away. For now, it was set to its safety... couldn't have a knife swinging right out as soon as she extended her arm, now could she?
"This is impressive. I wonder what did so much damage? Are you ready, Lia? I'll make sure you don't get hurt, so I'm counting on you to do the same for me." She smirked, albeit happy. It really was a joke, kinda, Shion fully expected Lia to be able to keep them both safe, and she trusted her capabilities too. "Alright, let's see now..." The brunette looked around, placing a hand on her chin. Mostly now, she was just trying to decide where to go... this needed to be as productive as possible.
Like a spark hit her, Shion seemed to glow and turn around, looking at her lover. "Ah, I know, to make this easier on us, here, have these on you." Taking out a small bag from her coat, the brunette brought out a few things wrapped in cute packages. If they split the items they held, they each could have better reactions in battle. "If something happens to either of us, it's best that we have each have items on us. Keep those safe, alright?"

| Lia smiled and took the items. "Got it. I will watch out for stuff like that." She looked around at the desolate home, mostly in shock and bewilderment. She had never been in the other worlds herself, and she wasn't exactly getting used to it. She remained stationary, holding her whip. "So, what's the plan? What are we looking for?" She looked at her, confused about what in the world was going to happen now that she was here. | |

| "For now, I'm going to go over the basics. Thankfully, the regular Shadows around here aren't as strong as Ananke, so they'll be easier to deal with in general. For now, I need you to just follow me until we reach the enemies, I'll explain them to you afterwards." Shion took a moment to put a hand to her side, the silvery sheen of her sword reflecting off whatever sunlight could reach them here. It still shone proudly even now... heh.
"Right, while we move, there's someone I want you to meet. I guess to make things easier, let's just walk for a bit." Nodding at the performer, Shion turned around and made her way out of the block, knowing she'd follow her. "I'm guessing they'll be right around that corner. Stay near me, alright? We'll try to ambush them before they notice us. Shadows tend to be pretty stupid, so if we can reach them before they notice us, we'll be able to get free hits on them. That's the gist of it." The brunette held her sword in both hands. For now, Nero was out, so Lia could address her, but she knew that Hou-ou was itching for some action... that, and he was eager to get stronger too. It was time to fight, most likely.

Exiting Block 8 through the top door and moving five steps to the left.

| Lia looked at the bridal woman that was summoned by Rita's mind, and nodded nonchalantly. "I've seen her before. When we fought Ananke. She isn't wearing what she did before though. Is she getting married?" she asked waving back to her. She followed Rita along the path, her Persona still not summoned as of yet. She couldn't say she was getting used to that being in her head, though she did not talk much. It always seemed to be there though. "Hm, this world is so sad. It's not at all like Penecia. Will this happen to us in time?" she asked, giving Rita a worried glance. It honestly was truly depressing, even for Lia to see a city so thoroughly ruined by this world. | |

| Shion let out a laugh at Lia's question, though Nero had other ideas, as she approached the performer and took her hand. "Of course I am, sweetheart. All I want to know is whether you're wearing a tuxedo or a bridal gown like I." The golden blond woman did a small regal bow as she looked up at Lia, dropping a wink. This, though, the brunette didn't expect, as she seemed to flinch, her eyes widening as a very clear blush appeared on her face.
"You idiot, you're not supposed to say those things here. Gah. Hou-ou!" The Persona chuckled as she stepped back, waving a hand at Lia as if saying goodbye for now, before fading away into a mist with a distinct silvery sheen. "Erm. Don't mind her... she's silly. I have someone else for you to meet. He'll play a part here..." Shion looked ahead as her blade's sheen went from silver to crimson, and from a burst of plumes, a rather large bird appeared, flying in and perching on Lia's shoulder.
"There. He can't speak like Nero can, though... I wonder why. The first Persona I got looked human, so I don't really know why my second one's a bird. Hey, at least he's pretty, right?" She relaxed while smiling, and walked up to Lia, placing a hand on her other shoulder. "Right, about that... for now, I'm not sure what any of these places are. I call them Alternate Universes for a reason, though. I don't think they're our future. They may be a future of ours, but... just, don't worry about it, okay?" Shion reached up and placed a peck on Lia's cheek for assurance. Lord... she almost seemed a bit awkward now, with all this. Heh... maybe changing her appearance didn't do her as much good as she thought.
"For now, let's keep it up... if we want to have any hope of preventing a future like this from coming true, we need to get stronger, right? That's why I brought you here today, after all. Alright, follow me." Turning around, Shion seemed to dash silently, tapping her feet very quietly as she approached the corner straight ahead. Looking around it, it was obvious what she was about to do. Using her hand, she notified Lia to approach now if she wanted.
"Showtime." Flashing a smirk at her lover, the brunette stepped over the corner, approaching the Shadows with the utmost caution so they wouldn't notice her...

| Lia followed Rita, and gazed upon the monsters. She shook a little bit, but would have blamed it on the cold wind if asked about it. A tarot card appeared, which she cracked with her whip, and summoned Alraune behind her. For some reason it felt easier, like she had done this her whole life. Her Persona giggled a bit as she watched her owner hold her whip out towards the enemy. She certainly wasn't eager about fighting, but if Rita was there to protect her....well, let's hope things didn't go wrong.PvS Combat Has Begun - Shadow 1:

| "Alright, here we go. Open up with that move you used with Ananke, the one that raised our speed. It'll make us evade these attacks a lot easier. Shadows rely on instinct, but don't worry, that ring I gave you will make sure that they don't reach you right away." Hou-ou flew off of Lia's shoulder and instead hung around in front of them, waiting for the speed boost. Once that was done, it'd send off an immense plume of flames towards the three Shadows, with Shion barely worried about the attack being thrown back at her. After all, fire was her element.
