| A few more skills were added to the Persona Skill list. Specifically some skills from Persona 4, such as Heat Riser and Debilitate. Also some Tactical Skills aswell. Physical attacks now work the way they do in the games. They use HP off a percentage of your total. Any skills regarding physical attacks that you may have used for your Persona previous to this small change can be switched out. Just let a member of staff know. It shouldn't change anything though. This was just an FYI. There will be a passive skills section soon aswell. So look out for that, Mmm. Though that shouldn't matter either, cause the Tiers are above anything anyone has right now. Just an FYI, yeaah | |

| Another update! After a little talk with Philemon on gaining a certain skill level with the initial Persona that says you need three rank six socials links, we're gonna lower it to three rank three social links. Why? Because we don't want people to rush their growth with one another just for that skill boost. We want you all to grow realistically and being six in seems abit much just for the initial persona. However, be prepared to see that for your Prime Persona so don't take it easy just yet. Also to make up for this easier skill, your last skill learned with the initial Persona has an added on requirement. You must have used your Persona 50 times. Can't make getting your Prime Persona too easy now can we? Bwah haha! | |

| A new class has opened. Check the Character Type topic under Vital Information for more details. This means after the first plot, the next class to open will be the Velvet Room Attendants. Look forward to that in the future. | |

| YOSH! A new Side Event is up and it is called the "Port Island Lockdown." This event is sort of like a mixture between Persona and Devil Survivor and takes place in an entirely different region than our main story. The main objective of the Side Event is to survive! The longer you survive, the more items and prizes you get for your main character in our Limbo related Plot! Don't think this will be easy, because you're going to need to be on your toes and make tough decisions that could result in life or death! To find details of the Port Island Lockdown, simply go to the main page and scroll down under the Limbo section. It'll be right there waiting for you to click it. The majority of the Guides should already be up, so if you're interested in participating don't be afraid to dive right in.. Though if you are afraid, let me tell you now how SHAMELESS you are! Muah HAHAHA! If you do make a temp character for the Side Event, make a note saying they are for the Side Event somewhere. If they survive the lockdown, they can be transferred over as real characters to use, but you don't have to do that. Now put your pimp lenses on. Peaceful days are over! Let's survive! | |

| Alright, the time has come. If you haven't made your Personas or Characters for the event, you still may but we're getting started. You're able to join in any time before the end, but people who start from the first day of survival automatically get a head start on prizes. That's common sense, Mm! Either way, Philemon will be the admin for the main plot. I will be the main opposition for you in this Side Event. We have a different way of going about things. As he's more reserved, I will constantly be hounding you all with obstacles that will impede your survival. I will show no mercy to the weak. Prepare yourselves. When you're ready to start, those who have a character, feel free to post in the plot section. The death mail will be coming up soon after I post this, don't worry. We are starting day one at the "Morning" time frame. If you don't know what that means, go to the Lockdown section and read the rules. Very well. Fsteak. | |

| Day 1 of the Side Event is officially over. 6 more days to survive! Let's look back on our first day.. We've seen our first death by the hands of Crow Genji, and lost our dear friend Eichi to violence. The remaining users of the Velvet P. Program changed their fate and survived the night they were surely going to die in by unlocking their Personas. Things are going to be picking up with Day 2. If anyone wants to join, I'd do it now or wait till the beginning of the next Day (3). The longer you wait, the more crappy prizes you will get for contending. The sooner you join, the better. So if you're waiting to join at the last day, don't expect to get sexy prizes like those who went through the whole ordeal from Day UNO. The best you'll get is some steak from Satoshi's Everyday Market. Emperor Naito has SPOKEN! P.S. - Day 2 Starts once the Death Mail is up. It will be going up later today, so if you're joining join before then. | |

| Time for your... weekly update? I don't know. What I do know is we'll be getting a new system here soon. The Velvet Room will begin to sell items, such as accessories and even items to be used in battle. Now notice how I said sell? This means you'll need to purchase these items. But how, you ask? Well, the Velvet Room will be also taking in a special currency that can be found in dungeons through some Treasure Chests, or defeating sub-bosses/bosses. Some random enemies may also leave you with alittle bit of currency after their defeat aswell. The System isn't up yet, but there will be another update here when it is. Also just a reminder, the next Character Class that will be coming out is the Velvet Room Attendants, and then after that, Shadow Suppression Weapons. So look forward to that, though neither will probably be implemented this month, or the next. | |

| The Velvet Commodities is officially open for business. It can be found under the Velvet Room section ran by Margaret. Since it has just opened, it isn't full of all the items it will be selling near end game of the First Plot.
The Velvet Room Attendant Class and Anti-Shadow Suppression Weapon character types have been added to the list, but they are not open as of yet. The Velvet Room Attendants will open sooner than later, but the Anti-Shadow Suppression Weapon will not open until later on in the plot when the need of their creation rises. As of right now, there is only one prototype Anti-Shadow Suppression Weapon, and it is an NPC in the Side Event. No others are created.
If you wish for the Anti-Shadow Weapons to be released sooner, I'd implore on pushing through the main plot. However, do not rush yourselves. The Shadows won't pull any punches when encountering you. | |

| The Velvet Room Attendants are officially up and open for creation. Also, if you haven't posted in your morning topics [In the Side Event] and we've passed the 48 hour post mark, you may be left behind soon. This is a fair warning. When you're left behind, it's treated like your characters didn't survive that day. Don't expect a prize for that lol If you're waiting for someone else to post, remember you can skip people if you feel as though they are slowing you down tremendously. | |

| Another update! Let's see.. how do I put this.. Well, Battle Rules have been updated. But nothing major. Just something optional for players to calculate their own ailments success, critical success, and successful hits. It allows you to calculate your own chance of success without coming to a third party mod to watch the topic over and over and determine what's successful and what's not. Do learn it if you want to be independent in your encounters. Also we'll be having our first Anti - Shadow Suppression Weapon join us thanks to our member named "Oahiz". The class is still not open, he is just trying out the class for me. So even though the template is up, it is still closed. Everything else is open, however. In regards to the side plot, we'll be moving on to the afternoon Wednesday or Thursday. Topics taking place in the morning will be ended. You've been forewarned. | |

| Yoyoyo, Rules have been updated! So, remember how when you used to rank up, your stats went up by 3? Well, not any more. Depending on what Persona you have, and what character type you are, your stats may go up a different way, ya know? For those who have already ranked up, we are allowing you to go back and rework your stats so you get the added numbers. However, do this AFTER any topics you're in revolving around battles or the like. Alrighty then! https://newarcana.forumotion.com/t10-battle-guides-and-rules#12 Make sure you read these rules like your life depends on them. Cause it does. | |

| It's been awhile hm? Another update, stand at attention! Nyarlathotep Children have a new skill under tactical support, solely for them. Congrats, you evil evil children. What is it, you're probably asking? Well, remember when it said "Weaker Shadows" may not attack you all? Now these weaker Shadows can be swayed to join your party with a skill used. Yes, Shadows can be used in combat to assist you. However, remember they truly belong to Nyarlathotep and not actually you, yourself. If the Crawling Chaos takes them away from you, yeouch. No matter, here is the skill below. Not all Shadows will sway to your side, only the weaker ones that you can find towards the outer rim of Limbo's dungeons. Call of the Shadow | Used to sway a weaker Shadow to the user's side; adding it to their current party. Only two Shadows may be used in total (some may refuse your will). Shadows do not stay with user once leaving topic/dungeon. | 35 SP | Tier 3 **Exclusive to Nyarlathotep Children When a Shadow is swayed to your side, you gain control of them. The Dungeon master will let you know if the skill has successfully worked or not, but if it does they will give you the Shadow's complete statistics and movesets. Any questions? Ask me in a pm or in chat if I'm there. This has been another announcement brought to you by the Imperious Essay. | |

| Stand at attention, fools! Another announcement is coming your way. So just a few updates. There will be a news and rumour board added under Kizuna Academy. This location will be an online forum ran by students and civilians that keep Ueitawa up to date on notable events within the region. They'll also give interviews to PCs and notable NPCs every so often. People can get quite famous now. The area will mostly be used for news reports to inform people of the disappearance case currently plaguing Ueitawa, but there will be other articles aswell. Be sure to tune in for your weekly updates. Under the same website, users can post rumours to the common populace. You may see some interesting things there.. Another update is one that's already been here, but will be abit more clear. As you've noticed, some social link ranks allow you and the person you made the rank with to have a special interaction with one another. Such as taking half damage for each other, or using a powerful team fusion skill. There will be a list put up so you know what team boosts you get per social link so you know what to look forward too in the future. As you all know, Charm is a pretty powerful status effect. For PvP battles, its use is going to be changed. Instead of basically brainwashing your opponent, if effective it will begin to leech their SP by 7% each of their posts. We'll make this official change soon, but I wanted to inform you now. There is a new Persona type released for Nyarlathotep Children called the Mutated Persona which can be found under the Persona lists in Vital Information. Our next main plot event is close to begin, meaning the second dungeon is soon to be put up. However, most likely it'll be put up after the high amount of awakenings we're going through right now ceases. There was something else I was gonna say that was important.. but I sorta forgot now. If I remember, I'll follow this update immediately with it lol. There have been talk of guns recently, but for now they will remained closed for use. Seeing how they're not essential, it's the least of my worries for the time being. On another note, the Temperance Arcana may be added to the list soon, so look out for that. Other than all that... That should be it. | |

| Alright, so update. As many of you people know, there is going to be a Side Event starting in Ueitawa that will be ran by Genji Kano. For details of this Side Event - Look here. https://newarcana.forumotion.com/t395-organized-side-event-ideas - This Side Event will still be Persona based, and will be taking place in our main area, meaning your main characters will be involved in it. For questions, go to Genji Kano about it. It's an easy way to gain some experience. Also we've gotten an influx of new members, so I need to pass information on about something. As you see under the Limbo section of this board, there is a section called the "Tokonosu Region." This area is primarily a sort of Devil Survivor area, as in demons are involved, and are freely wandering around the city. It takes place in a lockdown, meaning no one can go in or out of the area (unless forcefully pushing past the military). For more details, look here. https://newarcana.forumotion.com/t178-port-island-lockdown-side-event-details-important - This is a backburner side event, meaning it is still going on and can be joined if people wish to try something new for a setting. All you need to do is let me know, and I'll give you updates. Since it is Devil Survivor based, you do use a cellphone as your "evoker"/summoning circle to summon your demon to your side. Without it, you lose your power too. Also instead of a Velvet Room, you have a Program on your phone that acts as your assistants. This side event does NOT effect your characters in the main story, and includes new characters for an event taking place elsewhere. Picture these guys as.. the Persona 3 Protagonists, and the ones in Ueitawa as the Persona 4 Protagonists. Things are quite different for them, as they have a different way of going about things, which can be learned here. - https://newarcana.forumotion.com/t181-the-velvet-p-program-description-of-programSo basically, there are now plenty of opportunities to beef up your characters with special items and money in the coming events. I implore new members / Persona-Users to take advantage of this to catch up with the players who have been here for awhile now, and have a head start. Any questions or concerns, PM Term Paper . | |
