"The big buy's even more efficient? Damn, maybe I should go take a look at Dee physiology to try and make better engines." Eli smiled towards the Dees.

Everything Matty did hit Eli all at once so hard he didn't know where to look and what to feel. First, the fact she'd turned his little figure into a Waddle-Dee was just weird and it didn't sit well with him, though he had to admit it was kind of cu- NO it was evil. Evil.

Secondly, the implications of her words made his face grow violently red. There were so many reasons for him to feel both embarrassed, interested, appalled and disgusted by the proposition, especially when she began using her gold tentacles to mess with his food.

Eli looked at the gold tendrils in horror, dropping his fork and knife upon the plate as he pushed himself away from the table, nearly toppling over. "M-matty please I can eat by myself! Besides, what if anyone saw you feeding me! That'd be so weird!"

The Waddle-dee's continued to happily play with the little version's of themselves that Matty had made, smiling quite happily at Seeing more Waddle-dee's and trying to share their food with the littler versions of themselves that the ASSW had made.

Meanwhile the one sitting near Eli nodded as he mentioned the larger ones were more efficient, and as he talked about looking at Dee Physiology the Waddle-dee wondered how it could help him with that? maybe someone else would know now so it started to write on it's little Notepad as Eli's attention turned to Matty.

The sudden action from Eli made the one Waddle-dee look up at him from it's notepad then to the utensil digits of Matty then to Matty, it then nodded as if it understood and continued writing before it took a page out of the notepad and handed it to Matty "I think he means cause this is meant to be a thank you meal to you and us, so maybe he is worried it will seem like he asked you to instead of actually thanking you?" that's what the Waddle-dee assumed anyway.

it then turned to look at Eli and held up the note pad so he could read "I believe she is just trying to be friendly, we are all friends here after all. As for our physiology we can see what we can find out for you if you wish?"

Eli looked at the note the Dees made as he also took notice of the fact his actions had actually managed to make Matty speechless. This was fine to him, so long as it meant she wasn't going to be shoving her hand up his mouth any time soon. "Yeah, but she should maybe consider how the rest of us at the table are feeling." He responded, looking at Matty with a frown.

"O-oh and sure, thank you." He added to the Dees.

The Waddle-dee's all were done their meals and some were playing with the little Waddle-dee's that Matty had made with her fingers, clearly not bothered at all by her ability to do such things another was collecting the dirty dishes with the help of two more to take back to the kitchen since the Waddle-dee's were done eating, and another was cleaning the table where the little guys had been eating, leaving the plates and utensils of Matty and Eli for now since they both still seemed to be eating.

The Waddle-dee next to Eli nodded to him and started to write on the notepad again before finishing up and showing it to Eli "People just try to be friendly, that is all, I am sure Matty just wanted to help, but maybe better communication between both of you could help clear up any misunderstandings? or maybe spending more time around each other could help with you understanding each other better?" the Waddle-dee offered letting Matty see the writing too "I am sure Eli meant no offense in his reaction, he is more then likely unaware of what your body is capable of, and he has just been through a traumatic experience with the crash before, maybe just give him time, but I am sure Eli needs all our support in this time of recovery" the little Waddle-dee Offered to both.

"...s-sorry..." Matty withdrew her gold arms from anywhere near Eli, on the way picking up her plate and withdrawing behind the counter. She pat the Waddle-Dee that tried to comfort her on... well, the top of its body, and continued eating nonchalantly. "It's okay... I'll keep my arms in check from now on. Thanks for the food, Eli."

She didn't... sound very regretful, more just neutral. To the Waddle-Dees, it just looked like she was staring a thousand yards away, at nowhere in particular as she just... ate. She stayed quiet afterwards, but a bit of her gold arms did split off to rub the heads of several Waddle-Dees.

Eli now found himself sitting at a table with a distant and silent Matty thanks to the Waddle-Dees' intervention. He didn't seem pleased, as demonstrated by his slightly furrowed, awkward expression. He ate extremely slowly, peeking shy glances towards Matty every once in a while.

"I'll be at the hangar." He said after having finished his meal. He lowered his gaze as he put his hat back on. Picking up his tray, he looked over at Matty and the Waddle-Dees. "Seems things are gonna be getting busier around here with the new guys being combat personnel. I might have to put my mechanics skill into overdrive." He gave a short chuckle before pouting. "We're in for a rough ride huh."
