| "Thanks, Lexi. I'll bring you some cookies next time." Cam said with a small smile, tapping on the counter before turning away. SMILE was a great place to wrest info from, especially now that the District Leader was MIA. - Applicable Strength:
—Strength Name: The Family Business —Description: Thanks to inheriting her father's clientele...or some of them, Cam has a fairly reliable base of knowledge gathering and informants. Combined with her own experience from watching her father work, She has gained an advantage when talking to people. Her Charisma begins at rank 2.
With her Camera slung around her neck, jostling lightly at her midriff, Serabella was exercising her right of free speech...and speaking to the right people who had the gossip she was looking for. This time it was a runaway. Someone by the name of Kendra Bailey. Her mother had paid her a pretty penny for the investigation too, though she was kind of a bitch. Honestly, Sera felt a little bit for the girl. Her mother seemed like the kind of mother someone would want to run away from. But a job was a job, and Cam Jensen always got her mark. Having gotten all the info she could from the SMILE Studio employees she knew, Sera had turned away and was heading for the door, absently scrolling through the pictures on her camera for anything useful.

| Frog skittered around the SMILE's perimeter, unsure of who exactly to approach to easily get to the Reporter again. He'd been there a couple times already and with each new visit it became increasingly more awkward to arrive again and ask the same people the same question. What would they start thinking and would they grow suspicious both of him and the Reporter at the same time, he wondered, letting his nervousness take over each time.
So imagine they joy when he saw an unfamiliar face as he entered the SMILE entrance lobby-some woman with a camera. Oh joy she had to have been some sort of on-scene reporter like the Reporter, so that's why he never saw her around the building before. Right, that made perfect sense to his hopeful mind and it came right at the perfect moment as well! He'd just ask her. She'd not be around SMILE much in the future so the people he asked could keep circulating.
He awkwardly approached Sera as she was moving towards the door, raising a hand to motion for her to stop. "Excuse me, do you know where I could find the Reporter?"

| Being mistaken for people she was not wasn't something out of the ordinary for Sera. In fact, she had been known to pose as someone mild mannered in order to pose an inquiry or get close to a target before, so being mistaken for a photographer in SMILE was not something she could be offended about.
Looking up from her Camera as the boy addressed her, Sera rose her eyebrows as she appraised the boy. So he was looking for the Reporter, was he? Sera knew the Reporter. Closing her mind, she called perfectly the image of the last time she'd seen the woman, buzzing around SMILE the last time she'd been here. Though this time she hadn't seen her yet. She might be out gathering info for an article or something. Sera had never had occasion to talk to the Reporter, but someone who's job title was also their nick name was always someone to pay attention to. It meant their peers and their lessers regarded them as the apex of their occupation. It meant they could likely be relied upon to A: be useful or B: be at the center of something when things go wrong.
When things had gone wrong at SMILE, Sera had thought about investigating the Reporter some more...but when it came right down to it, personal investigations for the sake of curiosity ate time and didn't pay the bills...so it had never happened. Looking around SMILE now, She didn't see the woman, but turned her casual gaze back to the boy. "Sorry, I haven't seen her since last Wednesday at...2:30, last time I was here. Have you checked her office?" she offered helpfully, with an apologetic shrug.

| "Uhh, she has an office..?" Frog drooped down in response, slouching his back in defeat. This woman last saw her last Wednesday, so who knew where she could've gone by now. That was like, a couple of days worth of time and he really didn't wanna go looking for the office all by himself.
Of course Frog still naively viewed this woman as a SMILE employee so he wondered if he could nag her a bit more about the Reporter. That's why he didn't run off the moment they were done talking, rather sticking nervously in place, as if glued to the spot and unable to move due to a higher power. He didn't know how to proceed since he was basically intending on doing something illegal with the Reporter, as in, trading information he gained as a Terrorist, which put him in immediate danger for obvious reasons, but also because he was just awkward. His mind only drew blanks as his option and his fate was entirely in the hands of the camera-bearing lady.

| Cam was uninterested in this person. This boy who was standing there even though their conversation was basically over. Had he seen the Reporter before, or was he just randomly looking for her? If he had met her but didn't know she had an office... that was pretty basic information to have. Now, he was just nervously standing there...
A source. Probably one who's identity needed to remain hidden for their own safety or for the safety of others. He didn't know she had an office because they usually met outside the department to exchange information. That...might be a bit of a jump, but it was possible. Cam had to admit, now her curiosity was piqued. She blinked. Click. Now this boy's face was committed to memory.
Unfortunately, she had no idea what projects the Reporter was invested in at the moment. It could be anything from the fall of the District Leaders to the Psyche Terrorist scandal. Or, it could just be something to do with school policies or something mundane like that. Even the Reporter had to do grunt work every now and again, Sera assumed. But if they really were keeping their meetings clandestine, it had to be big. It was the reporter after all!
With a small smile, Sera waved for Frog to follow her. Striding away, she led Frog to the desk her friend was sitting at, leaning on the counter with one forearm. "Which direction is the Reporter's office, Lexi? I wanted to leave a note for her about something." The pink haired girl eyed Sera dubiously, but swiftly gave directions. Sera looked back at Frog with an expectant expression, as if challenging him to remember the directions for future use.
After they had been given, she led the way along the hallway, taking a few turns before stopping at the door. "Doesn't look like she's in right now. But this is where you'll find her. What's your name, by the way?" Sera asked, placing a hand on her hip. She had his face. If she got his name, she could do some homework on her own. Honestly she could do it without a name, but it would be much much more difficult. If he turned out to be just a regular civilian, then that was that. But if he turned out to be more...it may warrant more investigation.

| Frog followed the woman as he had nothing better to do. Her mood obviously shifted in the moment though and that made him a bit wary of her. She seemed deep in thought for a moment before opting to so quirkily assist him so it was obvious something was going on. Frog was, however, still glad she took the first step so he wouldn't have had to.
He glanced away as she looked at him upon receiving directions. He'd try to remember them but he was painfully aware that he was gonna have to do a bit of searching the next time he gets here to find the right way. For now he followed her all the way to the office. The Reporter being out was a bummer but not unexpected. He could totally imagine her being like, somewhere getting something reported. Or something. The immediate issue and the one that bound him to remaining in place was the woman in front of him. As much as he needed her assistance earlier, this time, all he wanted was to get away, as he didn't have anything else to do here and she looked dangerously inquisitive. He instinctively began talking but the moment he put in any mental energy into it, he quickly cut himself off. "My name's F-Roger, it's Roger." He said, looking up at her with a slightly even defiant attitude, as if taunting her with this false name. For all he knew she was a Cadet or worse-trying to steal work from the Reporter. On second though, that wasn't worse.

| Sera narrowed her eyes at the boy as he stumbled over his name. Cuz that wasn't suspicious at all. In any case, she shrugged it off. She was curious about him, but not curious enough to grill him in the middle of a semi-busy reporting studio. If Roger was really his name, then so be it. But if it wasn't, and he had quickly decided to give the wrong one...then maybe her considerations of him being some kind of secret informant wasn't completely off base.
Still, he looked harmless enough, so it was too soon to really say. "Alright, Roger. I'm Sera Jensen, Private Eye. Most in the business call me Cam, though. Cam as in camera." She pointed to the camera around her neck, though it wasn't the reason for the nick name. Experience had taught her that it was sometime wise not to tell people about her photographic memory. They'd hide things better and be more careful around her if they knew. That was bad for business.
The girl pulled out a business card, and passed it to the boy. "If you've got anything you need help finding, info you need to dig up on someone, anything you want to investigate without directly involving the police...I'm your girl."
"Cam Jensen Detective Agency" was stamped across the card in dated type-writer script, along with a phone number and address. The address, coincidentally, was an apartment.
Now that the introduction was out of the way, there really wasn't any reason for her to hang around the kid. She likely wouldn't see him again unless he became a regular visitor to SMILE, but he had her card, which might lead to more business for her, which was never a bad thing. "Speaking of which, I've got a case to crack, so I'll take my leave. I trust you can find your way back to the lobby, Roger?" She smiled a little wryly as she said his name, and began walking away down the hallway- towards the lobby.

| Frog was well aware nearly spilling his actual name already ruined any chance this fake one had at having any credibility in the obviously trained eyes of this reporter-cameralady, but he kept his ruse. He didn't wanna make her job of peaking into his personal info easy in case she had any plans to do so. Either way, she promptly introduced herself and gave him a business card. He nodded "Nice to meet you," accepting the card, thinking how contacting her might actually prove useful in the future. It was good to have someone like a private eye available to him, honestly. So long as she didn't ask any questions or spill any confidential info on him.
He looked the card over in his hand before putting it away into his wallet. It didn't say anything about SMILE, so perhaps she was only an associate of this organization, being only sporadically employed by them for jobs. Not that it concerned him, she obviously knew people at SMILE so she probably worked there a lot. "Right, right, I don't wanna keep you any longer. Thanks for helping out." He didn't smile, not even politely. Her sneering tone confirmed his suspicions that she knew he gave her a false name, so his mood was sour. Whatever other suspicions she had of him, they were most likely amped up to eleven now. "We'll see if I'll ever need your help." He said as he watched her walk away. He waited until she was out of his sight to start exiting the building himself. Walking next to her on the way out would have merely resulted in awkward silence and tension, after all.
