It seemed Zappa and Cylla lacked the willpower to attack first, though the middle of combat was no time to talk about that, or anything else. The demons returned fire, so hopefully those two would begin fighting as well.
...Why would someone think negotiations would work after the bullets started flying?

Zappa looked to the others, "Cease fire on this demon...it does not seem to want to fight....this one however..." she first pointed to the Silky Cyak when she told the others to stop attacking it, then she pointed to the Porewit "This one however...is endangering it's allies......and I will deal with it personally..." she finished as her eye glowed a bright red as she boosted towards the Porewit Zaku II appearing behind her as they both slashed at the demon

Cylla would nod towards Zappa. "Not all of them want to listen but it doesn't mean that all of them wont. I agree with Zappa, we should try to spare the one that doesn't want to fight." The girl declared with a determined tone, though she did agree they had to take out the one who was forcing them to fight, and if that was what Zappa was planning on doing, then she would help them do just that.

Yuri was no murderer. He was the ideal person. He had done no wrong in his life. He knew this with absolute certainty in his heart. As he walked towards Porewit, he stated firmly "I, Yuri, have never committed murder, of human, nor demon. Every time I ended a life, I did so justly. Countless times I've been approached by demons wanting to kill or eat me without cause. Other fights were demons seeking revenge for the times I kill their neighbours in the process of defending myself. If your mind is as vapid as that, then as God as my witness, I will end your foul existence for what is decidedly the greater good! Contemplate your actions in the afterlife!"

The young vixen would take a step back as the bolt of electricity hit her, despite them attacking her, she still didn't have the heart to attack back when she could tell deep down they didn't want to fight but were simply being forced to. Though at the same time, she couldn't do nothing... They were trying to hurt her and her team, so she'd keep herself useful without having to attack herself. Shaking her head she'd turn to Yuri, he was the only one who didn't seem to be energized anymore, though in the back of her mind she did worry that he would just take them both out in an instant if given the chance...

The demon left seemed more interested in fleeing than actually hurting them. And really, Sultana couldn't recall that it had ever hurt her in particular. And both Zappa and Cylla seemed more interested in trying to resolve their quarrel with it peacefully, so Sultana figured it couldn't hurt to try to be peaceful. "We really don't wanna hurt you! You wanted to end this earlier, right? Well, we didn't really want to use violence. Why don't we just try to do this peacefully!"
