The Biography

Appearance: Genji stands about 5' 9" tall, with about 174 lbs. of bulk on him. Light brown hair and freckles made their home on his head, which lets him look laid back, but it's not messy enough to make him look immature. Brown eyes that are darker than his hair are the color of his eyes. His muscular build fits him well for his love of swimming and his height can sometimes intimidate trouble makers and shorter people. His skin color is tanner than most Japanese, because he constantly swims during the summer, it seems like he has a permanent tan to him. His tan looks as if it was meant to be there, as if he was born to have it. Genji dresses rather maturely for his age, rather than wearing baggy clothes or regular shirts, Genji is usually wearing a casual button up shirt and dark, snug fitting jeans or khaki pants. His button ups can either be totally undone in the front, usually revealing a dark under shirt, or loosened up at the collar.
His beach outfits are where he is totally different. Almost in a three-sixty way, his outfit changes when he heads to the pool in the summers. He is usually swimming everyday, so it may even be considered his summer outfit. He can be seen wearing either a short sleeved or sleeveless darker colored shirts, swimming trunks, and sandals, no matter at what time in the day he is going to swim. No matter what time of the year it is, he wears red swimming goggles, they are mostly covered up by his hair, but even in school, one may catch a glimpse of them as he walks down the halls, or stands up to answer a question.
Personality: Genji is rather mature for his age, mostly because of his serious outlook on swimming and his disciplinary committee activities. He has been like this all of his life. His determination to do well in everything he does causes him to act serious towards many aspects of his life. He does well in school because of his intelligence, his mind is always ready to learn something new, but overall, he is rather laid back. Rather than striving for knowledge or stressing over tests, he does what he has to do and the knowledge comes to him. He applies this laid back nature to many parts of his life as well, he learned from a young age that too much stress was never a good thing and learned to control his stress levels very well.
Unfortunately, Genji has parts of his personality he wishes to cover up. He sometimes gives up too much of himself to solve problems for others and does too many things at one time. He is also very secretive to people he is not close to. Maybe because he doesn't want everyone to know that he is gay. It was the cause of his parents current divorce, so he feels that he should not be so open about it, if one asks him if he is gay, he will come out about it, but never publicly display it.
Genji also sometimes comes off as intimidating to others, but doesn't like it when it happens. He tries to be kind to everyone, but being in the Disciplinary Committee, there are things that must be done and people who must be punished. In the end, he cares about his school a lot and even cares about the people he is strict with. He is kind hearted and doesn't try to anger others, he always tries to be nice to others. If he angers someone, he tries to fix the problem and make up for the problem, or else he just feels terrible for what he has done, even if he did nothing wrong.
The Potential
Strengths:
—Strength Name: Hard Working —Description: Genji may not be the smartest person in the world, but being a hard worker can just be as good as any smart person. He tries hard in everything he does and likes getting his work done in an orderly manner. His hard work helps him control his overloaded schedule a little, but there are still times when the stress levels get high.
—Strength Name: Mature —Description: Genji is not like other teens his age, he is reserved and respectable, he tries to put on a good image as a member of Student Council, but most of his maturity just comes naturally to him.
—Strength Name: Laid Back —Description: Genji is good at stress relief, he doesn't feel overloaded much, even though he is actually overloaded with work, but if he feels stressed out, it is easy for him to bounce back and focus on what's important.
—Strength Name: Charming —Description: Genji does not try to charm others, but it seems to be a natural skill of his, many other students enjoy his company and he is easy fit into the "mature friend" of any group. That is, if he doesn't scare them off!
—Strength Name: Swimming —Description:
Genji's Swimming has given him many benefits, such as being muscular and fit. It also helps him be a team player in situations and groups.
Weaknesses:
—Weakness Name: Overloaded —Description: With homework, work, and student council activities, Genji finds himself having hardly any time for himself and for any one else. He sometimes gets stressed out, but it never lasts long.
—Weakness Name: Intimidating —Description: Genji doesn't like being intimidating, even if it makes his life easier with disciplinary committee duties. He feels as if it is a hindrance to friends he could possibly make, even though those who make it past his intimidating looks usually make friends with him quickly.
—Weakness Name: Self-Sacrificing —Description: A skill that Genji has loved to hate. Genji gives up a lot of himself, maybe too much at times. This can lead to him having even more problems with being overworked and stressed out, sometimes it can even be dangerous.
—Weakness Name: Gay —Description: While many may not see this as a weakness, Genji does, he feels as if his homosexuality has caused his parents to get divorced, whether it is true or not, he sometimes hates who he is because of it.
—Weakness Name: Guilt —Description: Genji often feels guilty for many things, especially over his parents divorce. This seems to almost have scarred him in a way of guilt, since the divorce, he feels guilty for silly things more often.
Soul Bound Weapon: Lance
Weapon Name: Lance of Guilt Weapon Description: A black, brooding lance that is about a half a foot larger than Genji. The lance is meant to represent the guilt that Genji feels towards his life. Weapon Attack Type: Pierce Weapon Element:
The Background
History: Genji was born to a dysfunctional Ueitawan family. He was the only child, or mistake, as her mother called him. Except for his mother's guilt over having him, his family life was pretty normal, or so he thought. For the longest time, his parents were able to quietly fight and argue about everything from dates to finances. They never seemed to get along, but they seemed to stay together for the sake of Genji. Genji stayed in Ueitawa all of his life. He loved the people here and the kind of life it provides. He was never overwhelmed like being in Tokyo, but he was never bored. He joined a swimming team in middle school and made many friends there.
His high school years were much different. He first started acting on his feelings towards men at this time. He had a close friend whom he had a crush on. He would constantly be around him and hang out at his house. The friend also convinced him to join the Student Council. He was placed on the Disciplinary Committee because of his height and weight from swimming. For the longest time, he figure out whether his friend liked him back.
At the beginning of his third year, Genji told his friend that he liked him, a lot. The friend was cool with it, but was not gay, so he gently rejected him. He also had bad news, he was moving away to a city across the country. Genji was heart broken, but now he had to tell his parents. His father was fine with it, but his mother was not. One thing led to another, now they are getting divorced. Genji believes that it is all his fault, but it was probably inevitable. Genji could not take the pressure of being in a house like that, so he moved to the school dorms and got a job at the local pool in Nokawia, hoping to be able to survive on his own.

I was very iffy on the Gay weakness but I see it can play a big part in unlocking your Persona. Approved and welcome, Friend!

Yeah, I didn't mean it for it to be homophobic, I really just meant for it to say that it's a major part of his character development. Sorry about that. I'm glad to be here, I always wanted to be a part of a Persona RP and here I found yours, so I hope I can be a fun member for everyone.

Changed Intelligent to Hard Working, it seemed that many people are using intelligent for their character's so I'll just try to set a better example for people who are afraid to have genius characters.
