Sheesh, that guy did not want to stop talkin' did he. Was such a stupid conversation in all, honestly wasn't my idea of what I wanted when I sat down alone in the park. Ya know, kinda just wanted a moment of rest to try and calm down an empty stomach. Not to have to waste a bunch'a energy talking to some random shaggy wolf git about a load of random shit. Eh, whatever, time had passed and gone. Anyway, I had decided to shift my arse finally, if I were gonna stay out here for much longer I really needed to find a way to grab some grub or I was just gonna pass out. Then I wouldn't even be able to get home by the time set and jus' a whole lotta problems would arise from that. Wasn't worth the risk, either I managed to grab some food now or I'd have to give up and retreat home early, as much as it pained me to admit defeat in that way. Was a better outcome than just straight up dying. I'd get my own proper chance at life one of these days...
Though as I trudged my way down the streets of the Top Ward, it kinda only made things worse at first. Passing by all the various different food shops without a single penny to my name to be able to buy any of it. An' sorry but even if I was desperate I wasn't about to lower myself down to begging. Sure I had my trick, but that didn't work even if I could control the shop keep. Most places have some sort of camera surveillance, they'd see me go in and it'd just be too obvious. Nah, I had to be way more smart about this. Jus' needed to keep on looking until the perfect opportunity presented itself to me. An' if it didn't, then fuck it I'd go home. Though I wasn't about ready to give up just yet. Though perhaps it'd be easier if I lowered my expectations of what I needed to find a little, trying to find the perfect thing right now would take too long. I just needed to find some stupid weak willed idiot and do a little role-play...
Either way, for the moment it seemed in my best interest to head towards the more market side of town, with open stalls that often had a lot of people around surely it'd be a much easier time. Wasn't like I'm after anything huge, honestly I couldn't care less how bad of a job I do as long as there is even a small pay off at the end of it, this'll be worth it. And it was at that moment, just as the market place came into view that I spotted my perfect prey. A young, low willed girl, out playing on her own. Aheheh, gotta admit this strategy wasn't quite the most manly one, but damn was it effective. As such, I'd keep myself moving towards the market, being sure to keep my eyes off the girl so she didn't expect anything as I approached,
accidentally bump into her and just happen to take over her whole body.
"Whoopsie~!" I'd say to myself, testing out the girls voice, the girls eyes taking on a green glow before I quickly departed to head further into the market, oh this should go just about perfectly.
Cue the water works... Aheheh...
Rushing up to the closest food stall, tears flowing down my hosts face, I'd begin bawling out near incoherent words to the strange one eyed lady that was manning the stall.
"Ahhhh, w-w-wwaaaa, w-wh-where's m-m-my muummmyyyyy!" ... What? I told you it wasn't going to be the most dignified robbery in the world, now didn't I? Though why mess with a formula that's proven to work time and time again?
"Aww, darling you got yourself lost in this big market place here?" The sweet, calming voice of the stall owner would say in an attempt to
calm me down.
"Y-y-ye-yesss... I do-don't know where sh-she weenntt!" I'd stammer and trip over words pathetically, whipping tears from my hosts eyes whilst using my new arms to try and cover up the slight smile I couldn't help but bare.
"Okay, you come back here and wait. Okay darling? I'll go and try to get someone to call out for your mother over the market speakers, okay?" The kind woman would respond, holding out a hand to me which I slowly grabbed as she led me carefully round to the back of the stall.
"Now, what's your name sweetheart?"Oh, uh. Shit hadn't thought that far ahead. Uhm, just make something up. First thing that pops into my head.
"R-Ressie..." Really. That was the best thing I could come up with on the spot? Sheesh, I needed to work on that. Regardless after getting my name, the woman would again tell me to just wait here before heading off further into the crowds of market. And so, there were no time like the present, ey? I mean, I was originally here just for the food though little miss helpful lead me behind her stall where she kept her earnings for the day too. Oh how kind of her. Filling my hosts pockets with as much money and apples as they could carry, I'd quickly dash back off in the opposite direction the owner had gone just as I heard the speaker call out about looking for the mother of a young Ressie. Pfft, couldn't help but snicker at how well that ended up going as I departed the market and entered a small ally slightly off the main path.
At that point the job was done, didn' take long to dump everything into a well hidden part of the ally before taking the girl back to roughly where she was. Exiting her body and dashing off before she regained her senses. Aheheheh. Finally, something to chow down on and a lil' profit on the side. I'd call that a job well done.
