The Biography

Birth Name: Unity Accord Aliases: Many, One Gender: Female Age: Appears 14 in her humanoid form. Birth Day: 7th of Dark Moon Species/Race Name: Polyphon Original Homeworld Name: Babel Arcana: Jester Place of Residence: Abandoned, broken down house in the Slums. Evoker: Bites her own hand, her persona rising from the spilled blood. Academy Semester: No, no. Class: We said no.
Part/Full Time Job: A job…? We sometimes collect things, weird things. Others sometimes offer valuables for the strange things. Is this a job?
Appearance: - True Appearance:
The true form of a Polyphon is a strange thing indeed. They are a creature of multiple bodies that can all form together to become one combined conscious being. When apart, Unity appears as a swarm of light purple ghostly bats with piercing white eyes. There are a total of fifty bats that form her whole self, each being only five inches tall each and weighing 1 to 2 pounds. Despite the large number, each of the bats are completely identical to one another and cannot be distinguished in anyway other than the drastic change in personality between each one.
- Humanoid Appearance:
When combined, Unity forms a humanoid appearance yet it is quite apparent that she appears nearly all but devoid of colour. Her skin is unnaturally white and she only tends to wear clothing of whites, greys and blacks. Her hair follows suit, being primarily black with white streaks that come all the way down to her lower back and all but cover her right eye. She has a weird quirk with bows, choosing to wear a small one near her neck with a much larger one on the back of her head. In her human form, she stands at 5’1” tall and weighs a combined weight of all her bat counterparts. Equaling roughly 84 pounds. She always seems to have a strange smile on her face, though happiness is not always what it conveys. Unity bears long, sharp canines in this form that are very pronounced. The only spot of colour to be found on the girl is her glaring blood red eyes that seem to shine when the scent of blood is close.
Personality: A little batty. Unity’s mind is warped and scarred from the countless horrific things she has seen and done. With her own brother being the only person she truly trusts, and him being the one that drove her to insanity in the first place she is often not very stable and finds it difficult to hold on to one emotion at a time. One moment the girl could appear happy, friendly, normal even and then the next she switches to one who talks obsessively about torturing others and the pure bliss it brings her. Overall she tends to be curious of others though, they all have the immediate use of being a nutritious snack, though sometimes watching them bring about new ideas and forms of entertainment. Unity was always one who enjoyed to watch. Just because you were capable of doing something yourself, doesn’t mean you shouldn’t sit back and enjoy the show others put on for you.

The Potential

Strengths: (Anything your character is skilled in, such as Martial Arts/ Drawing/ etc? You are allowed a maximum of five strengths and a minimum of three.)
—Strength Name: Euphoric Battle —Description: Sometimes, there is nothing more wonderful than taking a step back and watching the carnage. The pain and suffering from either party was delightful to witness. Partaking in battle had its fun, though Unity was always one who prefered to watch. (When guarding, gain an additional +5% SP.)
—Strength Name: One Is Never Enough —Description: Utilising their strange control over old remnants of blood no longer needed, Unity is able to put her blood to good use, seemingly able to control it in some twisted way. (Allows for Double Dex attacks.)
—Strength Name: Darkness Holds No Vail —Description: Used to being out primarily while it's dark and generally living in quite dark places, Unity has quite adept eyesight when it comes to seeing in the dark. Being able to see near perfectly when others would struggle making out what's right in front of them.
—Strength Name: Never Picky —Description: Blood is blood at the end of the day, Unity was never picky of where it came from. Sure some sources had more to offer in one go, but they’d happily suck the blood of nearly any alien, creature or monster. Strangely, despite the small portions they serve, Unity is quite fond of the blood found in rats.
—Strength Name: Shadowy Assembly —Description: Due to the nature of Polyphons, Unity can often appear almost ghost like. This is especially apparent in her bat forms where shadowy wisps float off of her constantly. Though even in her humanoid form, this shadow can still be seen if she attempts anything too physically challenging or is attacked in some way. Although not impossible, her shadow like construct makes it much harder for physical things to bring harm to her properly in the way a normal person would feel pain. Essentially giving her a natural tolerance to pain.
----- ((Racial Strength: This is where you put any special powers that your race is capable of. This area is where your character truly comes alive. Things such as flight, shape shifting, or anything else your race can do is put here. This strength will be heavily scrutinized to ensure balance.)
—Racial Strength Name: Transmorphology —Description: A Polyphon is made up of fifty small, shadowy bats. They come together to form a shadowy cage that forms the body of a humanoid person. While in this form, they act as a single conscious mind, being capable of complicated thought and emotion. When separated each bat has a strong personality trait that makes up the combined conscious, one being very angry, another very sad. Regardless of this, they are capable of switching form at will and this allows them advanced movement whilst as a swarm of bats. However, when split, they are incapable of summoning anything from the ego such as a persona, soul bound weapon, or utilizing soul skills.
Should a single bat die, the entire conscious breaks and falls into disarray. Essentially, a single bat’s death can cause the entire mind to die as well. The remaining bats can still form he shadowy cage, but the mind will be broken and will be incapable of utilizing the ego in its entirely.

Weaknesses: (You must have the same amount of weaknesses as strengths. These weaknesses pertain to you and not your Persona. IE: Physically Weaker, lack of attention span, etc.)
—Weakness Name: Using Personal Resources —Description: Due to the nature of how Unity uses their own blood to perform attacks, it puts a light strain on them. Even if they prioritise using old blood that no longer holds purpose, they are still using up a valuable resource when attacking. (Dex attacks and gun attacks cost 2sp to perform.)
—Weakness Name: Temptation —Description: Even the slightest drop of blood can cause Unity to wish to feed unless she had done so very recently and hadn’t used up much strength since doing so. They become weird when the scent hits them, acting almost flirtation in a creepy kind of way towards whoevers blood it was that spilled. (Within Combat, if Unity did not attack an enemy on the turn it was defeated. She must spend the next turn guarding.)
—Weakness Name: Easily Distracted —Description: What can she say, even in the most tense of moments or even times when life or death is at stake. Unity has a tendency to be distracted by something that interests them more in that moment.
—Weakness Name: Twisted —Description: Anyone who gets to know Unity, or even some who hold a basic conversation with her can quickly assess the fact she has a rather sick and twisted mind making it often quite difficult for others to feel comfortable around her. Even those lucky few who do end up getting close to her should watch out, the many moods of a Polyphon can titer over so very quickly if bored.
—Weakness Name: What Is Pain? —Description: Even if Unity’s strange way that she feels things helps her not to feel as damaged as she truly is. This doesn’t mean that she cannot be harmed, and in fact often times they will not even realise that they are so injured. Pushing themselves further and harder when they really shouldn’t, only inevitably injuring themselves further.
----- ((Racial Weakness: If you take a Racial Strength, you are required to take a racial weakness. This weakness must tie into your racial Strength and will be looked over just as heavily.)
—Racial Weakness Name: Vampirism —Description: Each individual bat requires sustenance to survive, and Polyphons only consume blood. They can go a few days without consuming blood, but the bats must separate and consume at least a few liters of blood each to continue survival. Aside from this, blood of any species other than a Polyphons is a force that can drive a Polyphon insane just by smelling it. Should blood spill around one, they’ll lose most of their reason and be blindly attracted towards wherever the blood is spilled, flirting deeply with those who lost blood to entice them to share.
Soul Bound Weapon: (This is the weapon you'll be able to summon to your hand while in combat. This weapon is special for your character specifically and allows you to fight Shadows and Demons without the need of summoning your Persona. This can be anything but a Gun (Or gun related weapon))
Weapon Name: Twisted Claws Weapon Description: Wasting not the old used blood left in her veins, Unity is able to surround her right arm with dried up blood. Making her hand appear a mixture of red and black as three inch long razor sharp claws make their appearance where the girls fingers would usually rest. Weapon Image: - Weapon:
Weapon Attack Type: Pierce Weapon Element: (Leave this blank. Only special weapons obtain an element behind its blows.)
Side-Arm Weapon:
Side-Arm Name: Blood Puddle Side-Arm Description: Unity is able to throw out old, wasted blood onto the battlefield up to ten meters away from herself. When she does, the puddle seems to vibrate with a last ditched energy of hate and eventually forms into a foot tall blood monster that bites and claws at foes nearby it with sharp 2 and a half inch long teeth and claws. After the blood creature attacks, the blood dries and cannot be used again, requiring new blood to be thrown. Side-Arm Image: - "Gun":
Side-Arm Attack Type: Gun Side-Arm Style: Sniper Rifle - Aimed Shot - Accuracy and crit chance is increased by 20%, bullets also pierce through an enemy and ignore 10% of their PEnd. Takes a turn to charge/aim before able to fire. Consumes only one type of ammo per use. Can shoot only one enemy at a time.)

The Background
|
History: The world of Babel is a strange one, lived upon by two unique species. The Polyphon and the humanoid creatures they hunted. For eons, the Polyphon were monsters of the night, intelligent beings that hunted the humanoid people as if they were cattle, except they were to them. They allowed them to grow, prosper, create governments and war against each other. But they were still just cattle to them, creatures they hunted down to prey upon as their lives were seen as worthless.
Babel was a strange world, covered in dark forests and vast wastelands. It was a very inhospitable planet to those who lived there, but it was a home everyone agreed they loved. However, the lands housed dark cults and people driven insane by the moon. This is where Unity and her brother, Harmony, found themselves into a spiraling maze of madness.
Unity was a young Polyphon whom found great enjoyment in watching others take on difficult hunts, observing their unique techniques, tactics and overall methods of how to catch their prey. Not to say that she wasn’t a good hunter herself, though if others were putting on a free show. You’d be stupid not to watch with front row seats. Besides, when you only have to feed once every few days. Where else can you find the fear stricken look in those cattles eyes.
One night her brother went missing for some time, she would worry for him though knew he was one who’d return. Though when he did, he told her strange things, things that warped her mind. Teared the shreds of sanity she still held away from her and left her a twisted husk of who she once was. The two, now perfectly mad, concocted a sick idea to express their undying love to their parents. Both hunted one down and killed them, keeping all fifty of their hearts and preserving them as symbols of their parent’s love. They adored the way they acted in being killed, and it’s a fond memory they both look back upon.
However, in their insanity they were shunned by their race and so were left alone to their own devices. They hunted at their leisure, killing humanoid or polyphon with reckless abandon. This eventually led them to be caught by Junction one night, the depths of Junction bringing a new hunting ground they relished to play within. They left their home happily, but with a little longing to return to the dark forests. But both agreed the beauty of their new home was worth the loss of their old one.
