Appearance: Many things are unknown about Bianca's true appearance. What is revealed to the public is how she presents herself during her spectacles, the "Deceiver"'s appearance, although some speculate she might not even be a female; the extremists dare say Bianca not only isn't a woman, but she also isn't a human herself (or perhaps she made a pact with a demon lover?) which for sure would explain the mysterious nature. During her shows, she poses as a woman in her mid-late 20's, in a stunning 1.78m tall figure, of a pale, unblemished complexion and eyes (as well as hair) always shifting in color. Her lack of modesty provides to the viewers the sight of a voluptuous, curvy body with accentuated waist line, relatively broad hips, relevant breast size and long, slim legs that gives the impression the lady is actually taller than she's supposed to be. Bianca seems to be fond of her breasts as a prominent feature in her appearance, and therefore she takes pride in wearing cleavage that enhances the alluring aspect of her torso. Her hair is medium-size, reaching the shoulder length, however as previously mentioned, its color may vary according to the day. Despite the the color scheme detail (which ranges from a gray hue to a darkish blue shade), it's trimmed in a classy, elegant curly shape giving the viewer an aristocratic, traditional impression. The attire may also change accordingly, but as a stage performer and entertainer, Bianca wears an appropriate outfit resembling a magician, making use of a white corset, high heels and stripped pantyhoses to enhance her femininity. Being a prominent illusionist means catching eyes, and prior to her actual artistic talents, the invitational card to entice the audience is, obviously, her female figure. At other times, she presents herself as a flamboyant aristocrat, flaunting a dress ornamented with abundant raven feathers shared by an eloquent cape. The aspect of said feathers is almost supernatural and, whatever the outfit Bianca chooses, she always carries her staff with her in the spectacles.

Her regular appearance outside of stages is not known. Rumors say she vanishes after each performance, and not even her co-workers seems to know to where, or when. While presenting herself as a woman of "italian" heritage, the name "Bianca Corvinata" might very well be a fake identity for all it's worth. However, it's not impossible for people to meet her outside the night life of Top Ward...but only when/if she wants to meet you. Or if you can even recognize her in first place!

Personality: The main trait about Bianca's personality: mysterious. She's evasive and slippery like a snake, and she makes successful effort to avoid unnecessary attention to her personal life. Being an entertainer, she has learned to separate her private affairs from the outer persona she established in the entertainment business, hence why little is known about the woman (woman?) behind The Deceiver façade. At the same time, she can be enticing and inviting, drawing your interest to always seek her presence, yet without never reaching to the woman fully in an endless endeavor of cat-and-mice chase. As The Deceiver, she's an imposing presence in stage. Her multicolored, ever-changing eyes are sharp and penetrating like knives on soft flesh, enhanced by the strong dark make-up she puts on specially for her spectacles. Her voice is sweet and mellow like a siren, sometimes sounding like she's speaking in riddles and enigmas, but can change to the ravaging strength of thunder sound if she so desires and her smile is nothing but a provocative twist of lips. There are people, though, who have met her out of her shows, perhaps during one small break and other. Those claim she seems ethereal and distant, yet paradoxically good-humored and approachable, being receptive of anyone who expresses interest into her. The good humor manifests whenever the odd rumors concerning her identity arise. If it's mentioned in front of her any hoax attributing a demonic nature to her character, Bianca will simply smile and say "that's not something you should say directly to the face of someone you believe to be a demon, for your own good", providing more doubts than answers at the same time showing no bother at all. As a general rule, she has a response to every kind of gossip, not confirming, nor denying any. She's not a woman of "yes" or "no", but "maybe". And this careful "maybe" depends if the other conversing party plays their cards right and manages to keep their company interested enough in a long-term chat.

The Potential

—Strength Name: Extrasensorial Connection
—Description: Bianca's connection to her surroundings is a bit more developed than that of a normal human being, even an awakened one, be it thanks to her stealthy nature or whatever reason. Her magical prowess enables her to "feel" energy from people nearby who have awakened to their persona-like/inhuman nature abilities. She can't, however, identify the extension of the nature of said person's power even though the sensation may vary according to the target she gets a feel on. In other words, she cannot fully tell someone is a Wild Card, a regular User or Nyarlathotep Child, a Shadow and so on, limiting this skill to simple awareness of someone's latent abilities.

—Strength Name: Enhanced Magic Flow
—Description: Being a natural enchantress, her spells have slightly better performance than those of a regular mage. Whether this inclination for arcane sorcery is innate or results from extensive training, it's unknown. Regardless, it seems to pay off for anyone having the chance to witness what she's capable under the stage highlights.

Any skill that relies on Pmstr stat cast by Bianca can Crit normally, like Dex or Ppstr-based skills.

—Description: Bianca's channeling quality is better and more damaging than that of a regular magician.
She receives a 15% buff in the Pmstr stat.

—Strength Name: Disingenuous Act
—Description: Being an artistic celebrity of sorts also means Bianca has learned how to adapt and entice. And by adapt, it doesn't only mean "adjust to humans", but act like one, simulate emotions, change her voice tone to mask her intentions, to pretend. It's not worth it to be able to change your appearance if you can't change your personality accordingly. Bianca's capacity to be seductive and charming, or fearful and frightening translates into an extra 15% chance of making her alluring spells penetrate successfully into the target's mind. This means it improves her chance to land mental ailments on targets.

—Description: Bianca's amorphous race is able to completely change her outer appearance and shift into any aspect they so desire, with no limitations whatsoever in regards to gender, height, weight, even the voice. As said, the changes are, however, limited to the phenotype for stealthy purposes. Considering Bianca's predilection for mimicking humans, she naturally doesn't have much trouble trying to transform into humanoids and similar bipedal creatures. Attempting to morph into an animal or any creature with a different bone structure (which can potentially include bipedal creatures with extra limbs) would be doable as long as the body mass is smaller than her regular self's. Otherwise, it would demand bigger effort and energy, meaning the transformation would not be an instantaneous process.

—Description: While being extremely efficient at maneuvering her foes' emotions, her body doesn't follow up, and this is partly due to her nature as a shapeshifter. She's 15% more susceptible to fall ill due to physical ailments, such as Poison.

—Description: Albeit Bianca's spells are usually more dangerous, it's justified by her poor performance in physical combat. Having to rely solely on her sortileges had a collateral effect: she does no good in close-combat whatsoever.

—Description: As a result of the effort dedicated to transforming, Bianca cannot use her spells before coming out of her stealth first. This means she has to break the illusion and return to her regular self before being able to make use of her demonic abilities. Similarly, should she transform into a creature with extra functional limbs (such as wings), they wouldn't concede her any benefits aside aesthetic purposes, for it's intrinsically related to an innate, racial feature.

The Background

History: Little is known about the Shapeshifters other than they have been an ancient group of creatures that managed to make their survivability through the centuries, albeit extremely secretive and through questionable means. Some deduce they're fruits of ancient sorcery that granted a whole group of humans (and other races as well) the magical ability to change their outer appearance at the cost of their mental sanity, some believe they were the results of a summoning spell from medieval times that wasn't properly conducted and therefore ended bad for the summoners. The fact is: they are aliens to every existing society yet they're around, but you can never know when they'll appear, where to find them or who they are. Originally credited in the tales as a translucent, amorphous race, Shapeshifters don't form societies exactly because they are untruthful, unreliable and know it, being intelligent enough to not risk their safety for an equal. Never calling a fixed place "home", Shapeshifters are extremely cunning creatures, considered the nomads of the multiverse, switching from one to another after their purpose is done or there's nothing more to extract from their current residence; after all, though their nature is arcane, they still have their own biological needs (some scientists may argue...). It's of general consensus in collective subconscious that they can adjust to the environment as easily as they destroy them, and the entire doom of universes is attributed to this race, as well as their own, complete extinction. Of course, these are mere tales, stories to scare little children and prevent them from talking to strangers. But you can never be so sure. You might stumble upon a Shapeshifter without knowing. You might be calling one a friend. Or even admire their marvelous, mesmerizing tricks at the most reputed magician show of your city...

Bianca's incursion in Junction is a mystery by itself. Prior to her arrival, there was another magician in the spotlight, of equal or even bigger fame than hers. However, when his sudden disappearance surrounded by clouded hypothesis and assumptions as well as the complete lack of evidence and signs of his presumed death, Bianca was the one to replace him. The strangeness of the situation was not bigger than the acceptance of her reception because of Bianca's own charms, sometimes bordering on the supernatural allure. Not many were vocal about how a young, voluptuous and curvy woman would assume a renowned role as a magician, let alone the fact she claimed to always be part of Top Ward.
