Current Events
Updated: 20/07/2020

**ALERT!** After a rather eventful evening at Maksim's Party, three teenagers seems to have gone missing. The doors of Vault Olympia have been breached due to a to this day unknown assailant, who sabotaged the doors locking systems, allowing demons to make entry. Thanks to the excellent defensive capabilities of the Vault's Security drones, the Attack was put to an end, and the invading monsters fled to the outside. Right now, the Doors of Vault Olympia are currently open, allowing any survivors of the fall to seek shelter within the Vault's safe halls. What Vault Security officials think of this development remains unclear as the Chief of Police and Security of Olympia refused to leave a comment. This is Rianara, of Olympia news, signing out.

The site is entering a new era as our team of mods works tirelessly on updating old and obsolete information threads and links. Over the Summer, we aim to make many changes to the forum, including writing a comprehensive beginners' guide to help new players accommodate to the combat and other rp systems in place here.

Wait!! Wait!!” Gabe would say as he ran across the platform to  catch the train, it was already starting to pull off and Gabe basically needed that train. “Aww man, I’m going to be late. “Gabe was in his usual business attire, but that didn’t help much against the clock. Sure, he looked nice, but he was going to be late for the business he had to attend that day. Not like it as anyone’s business but it was very important to gabe.  However…”Ding dong…stand clear of the closing doors please. “ The train door closed in front of Gabe’s face and took off.

“…..” With a silent sigh, Gabe took a seat and waited, looking to see when the next train will come.

"No no no no nooooo!!" ~ While on one side of the station a young man ran to catch his train, on the opposite direction there was a young girl dressed in minimal cheerleader uniform doing the same. Brittany was late, darn, she was! Thanks to the guy she spent her time talking to earlier that morning, but it was not her fault. What was she to do, ignore the guy? She couldn't do that, to anyone. And wouldn't do that to him in particular. Regardless, she was in such high spirits that losing the train hardly hit her mood. It wouldn't in normal conditions, and today was such a special day that nothing that could cause a minimum of impact wouldn't take her down, ah no! With that in mind, she took it with a smile. "Hiii! Sorry to bother you, Mister, but can you tell me if this one was heading to Vista Square? Please, PLEASE, say it wasn't!", she giggled at her silly pleadings, not taking long to sit by the man's side. Not that there was anything for her to do in case this train indeed headed to her neighborhood, but at least she hoped her lateness wouldn't have bad consequences for her afternoon business.

Gabe was almost in a trance, that was a well-known publisher. What was he to do if he was unable to get there in time. Would he ever find someone to publish his book when the time was right? TJust when he continued to spiral within the depths of hi mind and calculating all possible actions, he heard a voice bring him back to reality.

Though her face did look familiar. "I feel like i seen you somewhere before? Do you go to the seven stars acadmey?"

"Awwwwww, really? Oh man, that's sooo unfortunate!", she sat at the empty place right next to the man tiredly, and it was no wonder it released a loud sound when she took the seat fastidiously, puffing her cheeks a bit. For a moment she really expected him to come with a different answer. That one being the train she had to hop on, it meant that she'll have less time to get ready at home, which translates to a mega-super-hyper-ultra fast shower, grab the first clothing set she would spot in her open wardrobe, get her hair combed in seconds and run to the Station again so she could make it to the modeling agency in time. "Huh? Yeah! I'm a student there, why? Are you, like, one of these creepy guys who stalk the girls? You can be honest, I won't tell the cops!", she giggled mischievously, while waiting for the answer. Of course it was a humorous banter, he didn't look the part. But even if he did, she wouldn't complain about a handsome, distinctive man going after her, oh no~

No, not in the least. Gabe would say as he played around with his gloves. "It's more like a poster of a fellow third-year student that he peeks in a book. I think you are a model, one of two famous models that go to the academy. You do have quite the fan club.....are you late for a shoot?" Gabe would say with an intrigued look on his face. " My name is Gabe, it's nice to meet you miss..........." Gabe kind of trailed off, hopefully she would at least give him her name. They had a lot of time to kill until the next train, perhaps they would be on the next one before you know it?

""I'm a third year, if it helps..."

Uh? He didn't laugh? Okay then. At least, she hoped he knew she was joking and not actually aiming to deem him as a stalker. "I know, right? It's nice to have a fanclub! And yes, I am, how did you know?!", she looked at him, impressed. This guy clearly knows a lot about her, and she never payed attention to him. Why, she wondered? "Athena and I are going to have a shoot together this afternoon. Do you know her? She's soooo pretty, right? You know, we're, like, co-workers but can you believe I, like, never really got to talk to her? Anyway, yeah, I'm a bit late. No, not truly late, I still have time, but I have to get back home, take a shower, get dressed and then head to the agency. Oh that's because I had a cheerleader presentation this morning, I'm all sweaty and quite on a hurry because I can't present myself like this!", she smiled almost passionately. It was clear to Gabe that Brittany truly loved talking about this part of her life and she was proud of her achievements. And damn, she did talk a lot when she was feeling jolly! "My name is Brittany! You're also a third-year? No-way! You know, I have, like, never seen you at Seven Stars! Are you one of these ghost students? Though, to be frank, you tooootally don't look like a student. You look like a business man!"

How did i know? The student had a poster of you in his notebook that he dropped. When i gave it back to him and asked him about it, he kind of told me all there was to know about you. Your first appearance, what movie star you could replace. Trivial things, interesting though. " This girl definitely had alot to go forward with involving her life. "Oh, you know Athena?" Well, that was a little bit out of the blue, of course they would know each other, right? Top models would have some sort of information about each other, but it made Gabe wonder how much they really got along. "Athena is my next door neighbor, we are acquainted to say the least. " He lived across from her in a quiet town, that's all there is to it. "

A presentation? Well, i hope the train comes quick. Deadlines are definitely a pain to work with." Gabe raised his eyebrow and then laughed for a bit. "Well, i guess i wasn't expecting to be on the radar of a model cheerleader. My name is Gabe, i dress nice because... i work at lucky clover. A casino. But have no fear, i'm only 22...

"Really?! How neat! Even thought I attend the same Academy as everyone, they still feel like I'm hard to approach or something?? Tell this guy to talk to me anytime and to not be shy. I won't bite. Unless he asks me to", she winked at Gabe, chuckling right after. "Mhm, yes, I do! Not to a deep extent, though. We're not homegirls, just signed up to the same agency", Brittany explained shortly. To be honest, Athena never struck her as the type of girl who would talk to her. Brittany knew better, because modeling career is, sadly, one where you have to keep both eyes open and watch out for anyone trying to sabotage you. Specially if you have the same hair color as them. "22? Oh, wow! It's not even old in my book... In fact, you would be rather young for a business man career! Like a prodigy!", yes, she wouldn't take the "business men" stuff out of her head for a little while, as if she was excited with this new acquaintance of hers. "I've never been to the Casino before, it must be fun to work there, isn't it? At least I'd find it hilarious if people placed their best bets in a match and ended up losing it all...but maybe I shouldn't, you know, laugh. That's, like, too sad. Can you imagine putting your faith in something and being disappointed right after? Oh gosh, so cruel, I don't even wanna think about it! Say, what do you think, should I try my luck there? I can win the lottery!"

I figured as much. In the agency that you are apart of, it's a little hard to be friends with your competition. Then again, it's more realistic to acknowledge that there will always be someone in your way in order for you to get what you want. " Though Gabe would shake his head. "I'm just a dealer. " Gabe would say as he flashed her a deck of cards. At the very least, i can pull a trick tor two, and I'm usually the guy who catches people card counting. A game of luck is as it is, living on such an edge isnt for everybody."

Gabe gave her a charming smile. "As i was trying to say it's not for everybody. But how about a small game to pass the time? I'll tell your fortune, and if it comes up positive, perhaps things might even turn around at lucky clover. Though, i still won't recommend you to go, especially if i'm not working that day. I should look after my classmates, right?" Gabe was speaking to her as he skillfully shuffled the deck and shifted it over to her. "I actually do this all the time on the first meeting, though..its funny... i dont know why myself. "

"A game?", she blinked her eyes twice, pondering over it. What bad could it do? She was already "late" anyways, and so she nodded to him. Not like she had better suggestions or options at hand right now. "Hm, okay! What's this game about?" ~ The girl didn't know much about card games at all. One could say she was a bit naive for plays that employed a degree of trickery and mischievousness in order to obtain success.

"Maybe it's, like, a trademark of yours?", she chuckled a bit placing one hand over her mouth to not be perceived as rude, as if she was laughing at him, though it quickly changed to a confused look as soon as the girl took the deck for herself. "Soooo... You'll have to guide me with this, Gabe, I'm totally lost here!" Regardless of the answer, she did what her intuition influenced her to do. And in this case...

A trademark? Hmm, well...i personally think that every meeting in your life is not necessarily left to fate. It's more of a chance meeting, because who knows if we would of even spoke to each other if i ever caught that train, you know? Though, its good not to be negative about things, and good fortune does seem to excite people. After Brittany picked a card, Gabe took a look. "The six of clubs, that means financial aid or successes. " Gabe would then take the card and deck back, shuffling again.

"Usually, i would shuffle the deck, and the first card you pick foretells your fortune for the day. You got a rather good one, maybe you should tru your luck at the casino afterall.

"I know, right?! I do think so as well! Sometimes I like to think there's fate out there but when we do believe in it, we put the responsibility for our deeds in the hands of another, and it's solely up to ourselves what to make of our life!" She liked to think, perhaps a bit too enthusiastically, that everything is a consequence of your decisions, even "chances". The fact she was late is a consequence of her spending too much time talking with the boy after her cheerleader presentation. And the fact she was here talking to Gabe was a consequence of having missed the train, which was a consequence of her being late and so on. It's all a chain of cause and effect. With that said, she got a bit closer to Gabe, placing one hand in his arm kindly. "That sounds romantic! I guess it's lucky me then that I got to meet you! ~ Regardless of her comment, she had no ulterior flirtatious intentions when she said that. Brittany was simply a joking personality by nature, and the touchy type of girl. "So, is the game done? Awww, I thought it would be more complicate than that! But at least the outcome was favorable, right? Now I'm even feeling inspired to go to the Casino you work at. Mmm, can I, like, visit you tomorrow? That is, if it's even your shift tomorrow!"

"O-oh...." Gabe was a little taken back when the girl made contact. That was a little bit unexpected to say the least, and it almost messed up his shuffling. Not to say that Gabe didn't have any experience with women, it's just that his intent had to be prior to that of arrival or anything related of the sort for him to be more mentally prepared.  Though, Gabe kept his cool and nodded his head when she asked if she could visit him. "Sure thing, if you would like to visit me, feel free to.  I actually do work tomorrow if you have the time.  I'll be easy to spot since ill be wearing the same thing basically. " The train signal then turned on, indicating that the train will be here soon. "Well, we both missed our train, but i dont think this was so bad.

Brittany released a typically high-pitched squeal when he confirmed they could indeed meet the next day, clapping effusively right after. "That's great!"

When Gabe mentioned how them both missing the train turned out to be quite a fortunate eventuality, Brittany widened her eyes with a bright, assuring smile. "I knooow! But quite honestly, I'd like for people to not see me in this condition. I mean, I've, like, just left my presentation! I hope I'm not smelling or anything? Like, I could have taken a shower at the Academy, but I have so little time I chose to run right straight to the Station. And I've used cologne when I got dressed earlier, the scent is still on, right? Please, say it is, I don't wanna hear I'm smelly at all!" Even if Gabe did say her current odor was far from being a pleasant floral fragrance, Brittany would simply laugh it off and shrug. Not like she could do much about it, anyway. At least, not now. There wasn't a shower at the station...was it? Hm, Brittany could only wonder... Would they let her take a shower there?

"You smell fine to me. IF anything, it's just a scented statement of the hard work you put in day by day. Not to be proud of it or anything, a shower isnt something i wouldn't pass up, especially a hot one. However, it should not lead to immediate shame either. So , i think that even though you are late, you'll be alright. " The train came by and Gabe started to get up. "Shall we? There's our train. " Yes, even if it was something that people wouldn't understand, it is always good to take some pride into your work, no matter what it is.
