Downtown Robbery(Alexander and Charles)

Alexander walked towards the tower and sighed, checking the note once again. "So....I now need to get Elizabeth some fabric or cloth for some reason and, if she was serious, beat up some members of a gang or something." As Alexander walked towards the radio tower he looked around and saw a shop that advertised wool, fabric and cloth and he also saw a bank. He smirk and muttered "Okay, so hopefully, I'll get the materials from that shop and, if there happens to be a robbery at that bank, I could net the third objective as well!" before he entered the shop and pulled out his wallet.

When Alexander entered the shop he saw the blond haired woman sitting on a stool behind the counter who looked up, smiled and then said "Hello, sir, how can I help you? She then put the magazine she was reading away as Alexander walked up to the counter and asked to buy the cloth and fabric he needed. The woman smirked and said"So, you buying this for a woman? too which Alexander nodded before he payed and asked "Umm...do you know where any gangs around here are? After he asked, he turned around and looked out the window as the woman placed the items in a bag and replied with "Nope, sorry." As he looked at the bank he noticed somebody walking in and pulling something out of an inside pocket of their jacket. Due to the angle of the shop, he saw that the man was pulling out a pistol, causing Alexander to shout "Can you keep my purchase here, there is something I need to take care of" as he dashed out of the shop before the woman could reply, giving her no choice but to keep it safe for him.

Charles... somehow ended up in the bank near the Downtown radio tower. Apparently, there was something he was supposed to deposit for the old man that ran his apartment building. Charles had no reason to complain about the man's request so he accepted and made his way out together with Gao (his possum) clinging onto his scarf.

As he entered the bank, he was met with an unfamiliar setting, full of various people and counters. He took a numbered paper as he was previously instructed by the building owner and sat down, waiting for the number to pop up on one of the counters... People gave Gao weird looks as they passed them by. Was it so odd to see a pet possum in public? Was he even allowed to bring an animal inside? In any case, nobody was stopping him or kicking him out so it should've been okay. Charles came to ignore the curious looks directed at them, but Gao seemed frustrated for some reason.

The serenity of the room, interrupted only by constant murmuring of people around him was suddenly broken when a man came barging in through the front door, just when Charles had been summoned to the counter. Panic broke out and people began shouting as the man took out what appeared to be a pistol, ordering the all to lay down on the floor. Gao jumped down and hid beneath a chair where Charles was unable to see her.

Only Charles remained standing up and staring at the robber with what appeared to be an confused, almost interested look on his rather emotionless face...

Alexander ran from the fabric shop and towards the bank, the anger in his eyes was obvious, as he slammed the bank's glass and metal door open and jumping over the man's head, landing in front of Charles before spinning around whilst getting up, so he was facing the man before he said "If you have a problem with the bank, or want to take something from it, you'll have to get through me first. I may be young, but I can hold my own in battle. He then prepared to fight the man, hopefully fulfilling the final errand.

"What're you lookin' at?" The robber pointed the gun at the young boy in front of him, who now stood between him and the red eyed boy.

Charles, on the other hand, reacted swiftly. "Move." He blitzed from behind Alexander and found himself face to face with the robber before the man could've even realized it. With a quick sommersault and a precise kick, the man's hand cracked as the gun was knocked out of his hand, landing somewhere among the panicked people. A woman screamed as the gun landed next to her and so did the robber, staring with wide eyes into his fist, which was now bloddied.

Charles promptly kicked the robber in the face, knocking him out for good. The flabergasted crowd around them was silent for a moment afterwards. It had all happened to fast for any of them to be able to process it completely by then. However, as the minute passed, they began to arise and cheer, sighing out of relief and joy that nothing bad had happened in the end. The lady at one of the counters contacted the police and Gao returned to Charles, who seemed oblivious to the people around him thanking him. He instead focused on the boy besides him, glancing intently at him. What was his idea anyways, barging in like that?

"W-Woah...That was AWESOME!" He shouted and punched the air, causing his hood to fall down. Alexander looked up and down at Charles, trying to figure out if he was human. "The way you moved, the way you're eyes look, everything about you...You aren't human are you?" Alexander said quietly to Charles, hoping that he wan't human, due to how that would become surprisingly awkward if he was, because he was implying that he seemed robotic. Alexander then looked down at the ground and sighed, as he realized the look Charles was giving him "Sorry if I got in the way, I wanted to protect these people, and someone asked me to defeat at least one member of a gang." He then looked up and saw a man in a jacket similar to the robber's jacket., he smiled slightly as the guy looked shocked and ran to a van, before getting in. He pointed over to the van before muttering"There is still hope for your errand, Elizabeth."

Several people began giggling at Alexander's sudden exclamation, but Charles quickly shifted his gaze directly at the boy. Gao turned her head at the same time. She seemed just as confused as Charles.

This kid was the first one who noticed it right from the start... Although, how and why? Maybe it was worth investigating. "Are you human?" He responded to a question with a question of his own.

Charles followed the boy's finger as he pointed it at the van outside. "Excuse me, but have I 'claimed your prey'? I won't stop you if you want to take his unconcious body with yourself as proof." He asked, wondering what the whole errand thing he mention about defeating a gang member was really about. That was probably what drove the boy to sprint into the bank in the first place.

Alexander wasn't sure what to say till he decided on quietly saying "No, not really, and I don't need to take his body, but thanks, anyway!" Alexander then glanced at Gao as he began taking a notebook and pencil out of hit satchel. He then got down on the floor and began sketching the man's face in incredible detail. "Should you stop those other guys, as well?" Alexander asked, as he continued sketching the robber. "Aaaaaaaaaaaand, done!" he said, as he finished the drawing and began to start drawing the emperor arcana card, with a gear sticking out of it. Alexander then smiled, knowing Elizabeth was going to be happy with the spoils from his 'adventure'. He then opened the box of takoyaki and began eating them, planing to buy more of them on the way back from the velvet room. (I apologize for the short posts)

"Humm? Will a picture suffice?" Charles asked as he observed the van as it drove away. "It is too late now anyways." He took the moment to peek at what the boy was drawing along with the picture of the robber. "What is that?" He asked, showing unusual amounts of curiosity, most likely peaked by the mysteriousness of the boy. Besides, he had managed to pierce through Charles's ingenious disguise with ease, so he must've been special in some way. Along with that, he was saying things about doing errands and beating up gang members without leaving his own confined world in which he dwelled. That was, of course, only the analysis Charles had made right there and now.

Gao, on the other hand, seemed to have jumped off and was staring intently at the box of takoyaki the boy had opened up...

"Yeah, a picture will suffice. Oh, and this is an Emperor Tarot card. He said, showing Charles the sketch of the Tarot card. He then looked down at Gao, and asked "Can she eat takoyaki, since it contains octopus?" He then sat down on the floor and began to eat, eating half of it. He also thought to himself "Not long now, till I get my Persona Compendium...I hope." Alexander then finished drawing the Tarot card and flipped to another page, before he started sketching out a picture of Gao. He also got a chocolate bar out of his bag and began eating it and looking out the window at the radio tower. "Its surprising that something like that is man-made, huh?....And I wonder when the police will get here? he said with a smile, wondering what would happen if the police actually showed up. Would they be suspect, forgotten or would they be treated like heroes? He them remembered he had to get back to the velvet room and got up, walking towards the door, leaving the takoyaki, as he noticed a vehicle driving up the road towards the bank."Hey, looks like the authorities are finally here! he sighed as he decided to wait for the police to sort everything out.

A tarot card? So was he a fortune teller or something? Perhaps a trainee of some sort. Charles leaned over and picked Gao up, alng with a piece of takoyaki from the boy's box. "Who knows?" He said as he held the food in front of the possum. She was at first weirded out when Charles raised her all of a sudden, but she gladly accepted the takoyaki and skittered over to Charles' shoulder.

"The tower?" Charles glanced at the tower outside, recalling how Jack pulled them all together there to search for clues about the Angels. He remembered the pit and the odd 'room' they found themselves in upon entry. "Yes, it is large and imposing, but there are many even greater buildings acroos the globe." Charles turned to the boy. He hadn't yet answered his question, so he decided to ask again, just as the police seemed to have arrived... "Are you human?"

"No, not really." Alexander said, as he popped another piece of takoyaki in his mouth. He closed his notebook as two men stepped out the police car and opened the bank door, they were both quite different. One of them wearing a trench coat and glasses, and looking quite old, with short grey hair in a very neat style and a handkerchief in his coat pocket. The other looked to be quite young, in his early twenties, and wore a leather jacket over a blue shirt. He had blonde hair in a similar style to Alexander's hair, but more messy. After they walked in, the older man began talking to Charles about the incident as the younger man walked over to Alexander and looked down at him before muttering "Y'know, this is police stuff. You kids really shouldn't be getting involved in this kinda thing." His voice sounding bored and annoyed, most likely due to his hair, which he had been trying to tidy up in the car. He then looked at the gun in the man's hand before saying "To think that someone would be such a sad excuse for a human being that they would put the lives of other people on the line for some quick cash..." Alexander didn't say anything but looked over at Charles and the other people in the bank, due to how the younger man was giving him an weird vibe, before sighing "Y-Yeah, it is pretty unbelievable." and hoping that they didn't get taken away for questioning or something like that. (Sorry for not mentioning this earlier, but thanks for understanding.)

"Then, what a-" Charles had been interrupted by a man wearing a trench coat. The man took short notice of Gao on Charles' shoulder (he frowned a bit) before speaking up.

Apparently, the reports of eyewitnesses identified Charles as the one responsible for stopping the robber so, naturally, the police first wanted to interrogate him. The man ordered the other man following him to go talk to the odd boy while he spoke with Charles, asking him about various details of the robbery attempt. He asked about how it all began and what had played out. Charles replied to his questions with clear, short sentences, at which the man nodded. As they talked, other police officers flooded the bank, asking the people around questions and taking care of the criminal, who seemed to have began regaining conciousness.

The whole interrogation lasted about 5 minutes before the man stopped, took off his glasses and frowned at Charles from above. He was quite taller than the android, even though he was tall himself.

"And you say you really beat this guy up? With two kicks?"

Charles nodded. "Yes."

"Heh, we could use more people like you in the police force, then." He glanced at the younger officer. "In any case, everything seems to have been cleared. You two should report to us so we can take an official statement sometime during the following week." The man turned around towards the entrance. "Alright, people, we're moving out." He put on his glasses again after wiping them and led the officers out, but not before grinning at Charles.

They let them go easy, for whatever reason. It was irrelevant, though. Charles walked back over to the boy. "We will need to report to the police station." He exclaimed, staring out the window. The crowd had begun to clear up and the bank became less and less full of people. He probably wasn't going to be able to deposit what he intended, after all...

"Okay, then..." Alexander sighed, as he put his notebook away and gave Gao the rest of the takoyaki. "Lets just hope it doesn't take too much time, or else Elizabeth is going to get mad." He then stepped outside and began to think. What would he do if he got given a Persona Compendium? Would he use it to protect others in parallel universes? Would he protect his friends, if they had yet to awaken to their potential of summoning personas? Would he try to stop the current form of evil plaguing the earth, or the Azores Region, to be exact? These were all questions that he would answer later. For now he had to just go with the flow and follow what Charles said. He then turned to Charles, smiled, and then shouted "Hey? You coming?"

Gao gladly nommed on the remainder of the takoyaki. She seemed to enjoy the octopus meal and she took a liking at the young boy. Like, why wouldn't she? He drew a picture of her and gave her some tasty food, of course she was pleased. She jumped down and snugged the boy's right ankle.

"We don't need to go right away." Charles followed the boy. The police inspector told him to just visit the station next week. "It is against protocol and unusual, yes, but the officer said we should visit next week." He said as he caught up with the boy. The boy was intriguing and, well... a potential danger, seeing as he was not human and managed to tell right from the start that Charles wasn't normal.

"Oh...well...oops?" Alexander said with a shrug as he looked down at Gao and smiled, picking her up and giving her back to Charles. "Hey..er..Sorry, but I've gotta go now...see you soon?" He sighed, wondering how Elizabeth would react to his time at fulfilling her requests. He also began to wonder what Charles thought of him and muttered under his breath "Y-You don't think....I'm a threat...do you?" as he turned and began walking away from the bank, glancing at passers by as they stared at him, causing him to pull his hood up. He continued to walk until he got to the other end of the area before shouting "Lets meet here in a week, ok?" and running back down the road he used to enter the area, before turning into an alleyway with a blue door at the end of it. (Ok, and would this count as a social link? And do I need a persona compendium (or persona, if I was a persona user) before I can get social links? P.S. Thanks on the setting up thing.)
