| ok so I'm stuck between picking my next persona so I wanted to get everybody's opinion on them on who they like better. - Nanabozho:
Persona Name: Nanabozho Persona Type: Initial Persona Persona's Arcana: Death Owner: Stirling Costello - Persona Appearance:
Nanabozho has a slightly distorted body of that compared to a normal (similar is Izagnagi of persona 4) Nanabozho stands at 6'9" feet tall and is basically a white humanoid rabbit with red eyes in a suit wearing a top hat.
Persona Background: In Anishinaabe mythology, particularly among the Ojibwa, Nanabozho [nɐˌnɐbʊˈʒʊ] also known as Nanabush is a spirit, and figures prominently in their storytelling, including the story of the world's creation. Nanabozho is the Ojibwe trickster figure and culture hero (these two archetypes are often combined into a single figure in First Nations mythologies). Nanabozho was one of four sons of Wiininwaa ("Nourishment"), a human mother, and E-bangishimog ("In the West"), a spirit father. Nanabozho most often appears in the shape of a rabbit and is characterized as a trickster. In his rabbit form, he is called Mishaabooz ("Great rabbit" or "Hare") or Chi-waabooz ("Big rabbit"). He was sent to Earth by Gitchi Manitou to teach the Ojibwe. One of his first tasks was to name all the plants and animals. Nanabozho is considered to be the founder of Midewiwin. He is thought to be the inventor of fishing and hieroglyphs. This deity is a shape-shifter and a cocreator of the world. Strengths: Fire, Darkness Weaknesses: Wind, Slash Passive Boosts: The Personas of the Death Arcana are commonly associated with and excel in Dark-based affinities. Users have a latent 15% boost in Dark-based skills. Persona Skill List: Skill 1: ** Searing Burn | 10% (20% with single target skills) chance of inflicting a burn ailment with each agi skill used. Not effective against opponents that are strong/block/ etc fire. Takes 15% of total health off the opponent each turn, for three turns. Can be put out by a bufu skill used on self that matches tier. Effects do not stack | Passive Skill 2: Agi | Inflicts a small amount of Fire damage to one enemy. | 3 SP Skill 3: Mudo | 25% (Death Arcana Boost = 40%) chance of instant death from the power of Darkness to one enemy. | 6 SP Skill 4: Mudoon | 50% (Death Arcana Boost = 65%) chance of instant death from the power of Darkness to one enemy. | 12 SP (Unlocked once forming your first Social Link) Skill 5: Invigorate 2 | Recovers 5 SP on each user turn | Passive (Must have used your Persona fifteen times in combat) Skill 6: Sukukaja | Raises one ally's Agility by 30% for 3 turns. | 6 SP (Unlocked once using your Persona thirty times in combat and having formed three rank three or more social links) Skill 7: Gambler's Miracle | This skill can be either good or hindering when used during battle. Once he puts the hat back on Nanabozho takes a bow before exploding into huge blast of Dark Flames. (Death Arcana Boost 15%)
- Siren:
Persona Name: Siren Persona Type: Initial Persona Persona's Arcana: Death Owner: Stirling Costello - Persona Appearance:
- when moving and forming:
- When fully formed and not moving:
Siren stands at 5'8" feet tall and resembles a ghostly sprit of a teenage girl with black eyes, markings all over her body and seems to be a being made of light and when she moves she looks all pixelated and blurred. Persona Background: In Greek mythology, the Sirens (Greek singular: Σειρήν Seirēn; Greek plural: Σειρῆνες Seirēnes) were dangerous yet beautiful creatures, portrayed as femme fatales who lured nearby sailors with their enchanting music and voices to shipwreck on the rocky coast of their island. Roman poets placed them on some small islands called Sirenum scopuli. In some later, rationalised traditions, the literal geography of the "flowery" island of Anthemoessa, or Anthemusa, is fixed: sometimes on Cape Pelorum and at others in the islands known as the Sirenuse, near Paestum, or in Capreae. All such locations were surrounded by cliffs and rocks. When the Sirens were given a name of their own, they were considered the daughters of the river god Achelous, fathered upon Terpsichore, Melpomene, Sterope, or Chthon (the Earth. In Euripides' play, Helen (167), Helen in her anguish calls upon "Winged maidens, daughters of the Earth"). Although they lured mariners, the Greeks portrayed the Sirens in their "meadow starred with flowers" and not as sea deities. Roman writers linked the Sirens more closely to the sea, as daughters of Phorcys. Sirens are found in many Greek stories, particularly in Homer's Odyssey. Their number is variously reported as between two and five. In the Odyssey, Homer says nothing of their origin or names, but gives the number of the Sirens as two. Later writers mention both their names and number: some state that there were three, Peisinoe, Aglaope, and Thelxiepeia (Tzetzes, ad Lycophron 7l2) or Parthenope, Ligeia, and Leucosia (Eustathius, loc. cit.; Strabo v. §246, 252; Servius' commentary on Virgil's Georgics iv. 562); Apollonius followed Hesiod gives their names as Thelxinoe, Molpe, and Aglaophonos (Scholiast on Homer's Odyssey 12. 168, trans. Evelyn-White); Hyginus gives the number of the Sirens as four: Teles, Raidne, Molpe, and Thelxiope (Fabulae, praefat. p. 30, ed. Bunte); Eustathius (Commentaries §1709) states that they were two, Aglaopheme and Thelxiepeia. Their individual names are variously rendered in the later sources as Thelxiepeia/Thelxiope/Thelxinoe, Molpe, Himerope, Aglaophonos/Aglaope/Aglaopheme, Pisinoe/Peisinoë/Peisithoe, Parthenope, Ligeia, Leucosia, Raidne, and Teles Strengths: Hama, Mudo Weaknesses: Zio, Agi Passive Boosts: The Personas of the Death Arcana are commonly associated with and excel in Dark-based affinities. Users have a latent 15% boost in Dark-based skills. Persona Skill List: Skill 1: ** Hindering Gust | 10% (20% with single target skills) chance of inflicting a wind based ailment with each Garu skill used. Not effective against opponents that are strong/block/ etc Wind. Adds 20% chance of miss towards the opponent's next attack. Effects do not stack. | Passive Skill 2: Garu | Inflicts a small amount of Wind damage to one enemy. | 3 SP Skill 3: Marin Karin | 25% chance of inflicting the Charm ailment to one enemy.
