Appearance: Salter is a 6'6" tall, slender alien with ashy-grey skin and deep blue eyes. He has a quite noticable burn-scar on his right cheek, reaching all the way from the chin to his temple, an injury he sustained in combat back home. He's rather tall and lanky, with slender, agile fingers and long legs. Quite stoic-looking, if not a bit intimidating. He first arrives aboard the S.S Philemon wearing an iced-over space suit, which he now keeps locked away for safekeeping, being the only bit of his past aboard the Alonsous he has left. He's now pretty much assimilated himself with the S.S Philemon Crew, wearing the standard uniform, as he's the one who keeps the crew armed and ready.

Personality: Salter is a rather dry and tough individual at first glance, and can be quite intimidating. He does however have a great sense for artistry and loves to tinker with anything he can get his hands on, especially when it comes to weapons, armor and other fancy tech. Being a bit of a shut-in geek, Salter doesn't let this rather wholesome and cuddly side of him show, and tries to be as stoic as possible. Once he warms up to you though, more of his true personality starts to bleed through, and the true artisan within him really shines. He puts a lot of weight and value into his work, and thus happily supplies the crew with whatever tools and weaponry he can provide. It is the only way he thinks he can contribute, as he strangely enough, has yet to get his plug to work beyond just translating.

The Potential

Racial Bonus: Coming in all shapes and sizes, Aliens tend to have specific abilities or boons relating to their biologies. This can be anything from better eyesight to stuff like telekinesis or telepathy. Generally, these abilities are separate from the Potential as they stem from the Aliens' biology. However, if the Alien species' biology is somehow directly connected to the Potential...
As such, the bonus granted to Alien characters is the following:

[Alien characters gain an additional Strength associated with them that doesn't require a Weakness connected to it. As such, they start off with one Strength more than they have Weaknesses.]

This Alien Strength will be graded case-by-case, so do have fun when making these~

—Alien Strength Name: Heat Vision
—Description: As an Etryskean, Salter has adopted a sort of heat-sensing eye-sight, allowing him to see warm-blooded creatures (and anything else generating heat) through walls. Good for threat assesment.

Strengths: (Anything your character is skilled in, such as Martial Arts/ Drawing/ etc? You are allowed a maximum of five strengths and a minimum of three.)

—Strength Name: Talented Gunsmith
—Description: Salter's a very capable craftsman, and can build relatively advanced weaponry on his own, granted that he's given the proper schematics and materials. He uses this earned skill to provide his crewmates with weaponry.

—Strength Name: A Steady Hand
—Description: Salter gets a 10% Boost to Accuracy when using Pistols.

—Strength Name: Scrounger Kit
—Description: Salter carries a ammo-recovery kit with him at basically all times, allowing him to recover ammunition from the bodies of his enemies. Not all bullets are completely reusable though. When using this kit, he can restore 50% of the bullets used after any given battle. HOWEVER, the Scrounger Kit runs on a finite battery charge. Salter can use this kit a maximum of 8 times per before it needs recharging, which he can do either after a thread is over, OR at a Module Terminal.

—Description: Salter's not particularly proficient in hand-to-hand combat, and prefers to use a gun when he can. Thus he's quite clumsy when trying to strike his foes with his bare fists, decreasing his hit rate with it by 10%.

—Description: Carrying a bunch of ammunition and tools to recover those he's used, makes him move quite a bit slower than teammates. A 400 Word post that would normally bring him 12 spaces forward now only brings him a total of 9 spaces forward.

Revolver - Single Shot - Accuracy is increased by 20%. Consumes only one type of ammo per use. Can shoot only one enemy at a time.

History: Lieutenant "Salter", or at least... that's the codename he used to go by. Originally positioned aboard the Space Frigate "Alonsous", of the Etryskian Space Fleet, Salter had quite the reputation as a soldier. Earned his place among the best during his youth, having survived plenty of battles fought for his homeland.

A Reputable soldier indeed, and remained so for a good while, until he finally settled down as a Gunsmith aboard the Alonsous, outfitting his fellow crewmates with weapons, armor and tools of the highest quality. He was, perhaps needless to say, quite proud of his work. At the height of his life, one might say. But that all came crashing down on that fateful day.

The Loud hiss of the intercom cracking to life jerked Salter out of his slumber. "*WARNING! ENEMY AIRSHIPS IS IN OUR AO! WE'RE TAKING HEAVY FIRE! ALL MEN, TO YOUR BATTLE STATIONS! THIS IS NOT A DRILL! I REPEAT, THIS IS NOT A DRILL!*" Salter frowned, and got up from his bed, looking rather troubled. "Shit... This is bad." He mumbled quietly, picking up the small, green pistol on the table, holstering it, before scooping up the black, heavy rifle on the wall. What was going on? A loud explosion rocked the whole ship, sending Salter to his knees. The enemies were planning to board! This was bad! He got back up, following the steady flow of his crewmates, all armed to the teeth, ready to face the invading force. "Space Pirates... Of course." He muttered, hurring up stairs to the deck. "We need our birds out in air immediately! Raider, King! You two are coming with me. Lets get these bastards off our ship..." His tone was angry, and the two soldiers he addressed followed him. "Lets head to the Hangar! I'm pretty sure they're trying to board! We'll meet them there!" With no words from the command bridge up above, Salter tried his best to take a commanding position of the troops he had. "Where's Hunter? I need him and his Birds in the air, now!"

A Loud boom rocked the station again. He had to hurry. Salter and his men set foot for the Hangar, fearing the worst. And there they were... The Space Pirates, as he had feared. They fought back as best they could. "Phew... I think that's the last of them. Hunter, give me a sitrep! What's going on out there!?" His voice was commanding, as Salter tried to mask the fact that he was genuinely worried. No answer. "Hunter, I repeat! Give me a Sitrep!" Still... No answer. "SHIT! Alright, we have to get out there. Hurry!" The trio put on their space helmets, getting ready to get into their own ships when suddenly... the Hangar Bay was breached. All the air rushed out, pulling everything with it into outer space, including Salter and his two men. Unable to hold on, the trio was washed into outer space... Never to see home again.

Okie dokie so you seem to have 3 functional Strengths but only 1 functional Weakness so you need 2 more Weaknesses with combat/otherwise felt effects. On top of that you have 4 Strengths (not counting Alien Strength), but only 3 Weaknesses so you need another Weakness anyways

Gunsmith Drops from Shuffle Time don't exist. Depending on your explanation *how* he can scrounge up ammo randomly after a fight (does he pick up the parts he dropped? maybe he has some sort of gauntlet that lets him magnetize the remains of his fired ammo and use it as parts in the future?) you can have him gain an extra Gun Material drop for every 3 shots he had fired during a fight.

The rest seems fine outside of your lack of Weaknesses and the Strength I flagged up.

You should just say it can be done 8 times per thread or after charging at a Module Terminal, which is a station that also recovers one's HP/SP and Special Abilities. I won't allow it to charge after major boss fights~

Additionally, now you have one Strength too few
