The Biography

Birth Name: Rika Saki
Aliases: Ri (to those that are close to him and he allows to call him this), The Vampire
Gender: Male
Age: Actual age around 500 years old, but looks to be about physically 19.
Birth Day: 15 of October

Arcana: Temperance: Portrayed as a woman with angel wings mixing up the water of two cups, one blue, the other red, the Temperance Arcana is a symbol of synthesis, prudence, harmony, and the merging of opposites. Gameplay-wise, the Personas of the Temperance Arcana are often well-rounded Personas. Personas of the Temperance Arcana are mythological figures associated with balance and moderation. The Temperance Arcana is primarily home to mythological beasts rather than human figures. Characters of the Temperance Arcana are often struggling to find a balance in their lives and in their hobbies.
Pros: Users receive a 10% boost to their Ppstr, Pmstr, Dx and Lk stats.

Place of Residence: Used to live on Pre-Earth, but after Anti-Space took over he became a resident of SS Philemon.
Evoker: Persona Module – Unlike other modules which can be seen, Rika’s module is hidden somewhere within him making it not visible to the naked eye.

Occupation: The owner of an alchemy shop where he upgrades/power ups weapons and items for a living.

Appearance:

Rika is a red headed young man with green eyes and fair skin. He has a pretty face that some would call feminine and cute. To add to this look is his long red hair which he usually keeps in a pony tail and his rather small height for a male reaching only up to 5'1". He weighs about 125 lbs and is lean, toned, and fit. Though one would never know it with the clothing he wears. He wears elegant and tailored clothing that cover most of his skin and makes him appear to be a noble or rich due to how well maintained he is.

Personality: Rika is a quiet being that usual sticks to himself rather than going out of his way to make conversation or be social. Due to wearing a constant serious expression and rarely showing emotions, he can come off as intimidating, aloof, or cold on the surface. His blunt and straightforward way of speaking does not help with this matter either. To make matters tougher for him, he can be brutally honest about things not seeming to be afraid to hurt feelings if he feels it is important enough to state. Another thing bad about him is that he does have another personality thanks to being two beings in one. Though they do not see themselves as separate, but rather two parts of the same being. His other personality is more vocal and social in comparison to the more soft spoken and shier personality he typically has; however, it is also a lot rougher with words and bluntness making those sensitive to offense or see his way as overly rude not get along with him easily. He also tends to be very confident in himself and is prone to teasing others even. It is not uncommon for this side to get into fights with others over disagreements and misunderstanding. His other side can be aggressive and is usually the personality often dealt with in battle situations. Though it is not uncommon for it to occasionally appear outside of the battles too.

Due to these things, he finds it hard to make true friends because most run off or find him too rude or mean for their liking to see what he is really like underneath. In reality, Rika is rather kind and gentle. Yes even his other side has softness underneath it all. They don't want to harm anyone, but their behavior is often mistaken for rudeness, cruelty, or just not wanting to be bothered. As for emotions being mostly absent, this is actually related to the fact he just doesn't know how to express them well or process them normally. It takes him a while to figure what he is actually feeling or to understand how others are feeling at times making it a struggle for him for those that want on the spot reactions or response to things. He does not trust easily and opens up slowly to people. Another thing that can frustrate those expecting quick automatically good relationships. As a result very few get to see him fully and he is most often labeled an uncaring asshole when that statement is far from the truth. Most only deal with him when they want to use his services. Whether this bothers him or not is uncertain, since he keeps even that hidden away.

The Potential

Racial Bonus: His Alien Strength is related to his potential and how it works. As a result he has the following bonus for aliens.

[Alien characters gain an additional Strength associated with them that doesn't require a Weakness connected to it. As such, they start off with one Strength more than they have Weaknesses.]

—Alien Strength Name: Channeling
—Description: While Rika does have a plug module and can use plugs, his is not visible due to the fact that it is absorbed into his body allowing him to tap into the power within the plugs he activates and in turn use those powers directly through himself. In battle personas do not appear around him nor if he happens to be using a weapon plug does his appearance seem to change. When using an active plug, the power is absorbed from the plug and flows directly through his making it seems like he is directly firing a fireball from his finger tips or summoning lighting from the sky. When he has a weapon plug that has a different dex attack than him, he seems to switch between his soulbound and a second weapon that mimics the dex attack of the plug he is using. For example if he is using a weapon plug that is a tiger and has a slash dex attacks, then when using its dex attack, he would appear to have claws on himself that he then uses to attack to attack the enemy. Even plugs that change his appearance due to their special abilities still appear to be him simply shifting forms.

The only time his shadow plug only appears is as a companion and assistance to him outside of battle due to the deep bond he shares with this particular being.

Strengths:

—Strength Name: Pre-World Alchemy
—Description: He uses Formula Λ, the symbol marking the function known as and. What this means is he uses alchemy that allows him to combine or add things together to upgrade/power up other items and make them into something new.

—Strength Name: Scan
—Description: His eyes can scan other beings picking up on if they are human, alien, ASSW or something else. This ability while useful does not give him all the details making more complicated or confusing beings harder to figure out without extra work and research.

—Strength Name: Double Strike
—Description: An ability that allows him to strike twice with his soulbound in battle.

—Strength Name: Tough as Nails
—Description: His race had tough skin that could not be harmed by normal means. This tough skin is still part of him today. It gives him a 10% boost in defense against physical attacks.

—Strength Name: Self Heal
—Description: Another trait from his race who had bodies that self repaired quickly. As a result, he heals 10% of his health each turn during battle when his health falls below 30% of his HP. Outside of battle it just means most wounds heal up quickly.

—Description: Due to his behavior and ways, he often comes off as cold, aloof, or unapproachable to many making it hard for him to interact with people that scare easily outside of a business setting.

—Weakness Name: Not human
—Description: While he can blend in physically with humans it is no denying that he is not human. A fact that is only solidified in battle when his form goes more leans more towards his other side's looks with fox ears and a tail and white hair when he goes all out. Outside of this, he does give off an aura that suggests he is more than what he seems to be. Also while he does seem to have a good relationship with his own shadow plug, he does eat shadows and demons instead of the typical human food. Though if he has to he can eat human food too. Though it doesn't taste good to him. Also occasionally, he will let his other side take over letting the fox demon traits show easily enough outside of battle.

—Weakness Name: The Other Me
—Description: Rika's other side can have pretty nasty temper outside of battle when pushed too much. While in battle it has more things to lash out towards, he can still be pushed into a blind rage if not careful. Enemies get a 10% boost of inflict Rage upon him.

—Weakness Name: Overload
—Description: Due to the way Rika process emotions and needs to time to figure them out, he can be overloaded when pressured by someone or something to react immediately. When overload with things he tends to lose his usual control and become panicky and nervous until he figures out how regain his balance. In battle enemies have a 10% boost of inflicting Panic on him.

—Weakness Name: Sickness
—Description: This is triggered by blood, the scent of blood, or something similar to blood looks, smell, feel, etc. When presented with things like this, he feels faint and disoriented making him confused and unsure what is what until he is either away from the source or if he cannot escape a source, he has steadied himself enough to focus. Outside of battle, it can make him slightly more hostile if he is unsure of the person or thing around him. His aggression is a defense mechanism to protect himself, but also to keep others from getting close enough where he can harm them. Typically sitting him down or calming him in some way can settle him and help he regain his bearings. This trigger follows him into battle, where when presented with blood or blood like things this gives him the confusion stats which will cause him to have a 10% chance of striking an ally instead of the enemy with a dex attack while he is under its effect. The chances of confusion hitting him is a 20% when confronted with this trigger. The effect usually lasts for 3 turns he stabilizes and can focus enough to push it aside.

Weapon Description: A pair of fans that get their names from the fact one is pure white and the other is pure black. It is unknown what material they are made out of but they can be thrown outward to strike enemies within a 10 ft radius from their owner. Like boomerangs they always turn to come back to their owner. They also appear to have eyes upon them and seem to be living.

Side-Arm Description: A elegant triple barreled gun that packs a punch when fired. Just like his fans it seems to be living in some fashion as it moves with its own energy and is made out of an unknown material.

Side-Arm Style: Shotgun - Scatter Shot - Accuracy is decreased by 30%. Consumes 3 types of ammo at once to fire -must be same type of ammo. Can shoot all enemies with one attack.

History: The name of Rika's race is unknown, but from the records he does holds of them in his memory and in writing it is known that he came from a race thought to be immortal due to their slow aging, self healing abilities, tough bodies that made them hard to harm by normal means and long life spans if left alone. His people did have higher technology than humans making them seem advance as they place high value on knowledge and science. They were also folks that specialized in alchemy allowing to create and perform various feats with the skill. People thought it was magic, but it was honestly just hard work and the uses of their knowledge that allowed them to use the peculiar skill so well.

His kind flourished up until a point where an unknown sickness began to plague their people and kill them off. They tried everything under the sun to save themselves, but no matter what they did, they could not find a cure. In time the planet they lived on and the people there began to die. In a last ditch effort to save themselves a small group of ten headed for Earth and settling around the Japan area. Taking forms of humans, they did what they could to find a cure for themselves using what Earth had available to them. However, nothing they found here was helping. As their numbers slowly began to dwindle, the aliens turned to humans to see if maybe devouring them could save them and interestingly enough the blood of humans did indeed slow the sickness, but not cure it. Still to prolong falling into death’s hands the remaining group did indeed feed off blood as much as they could. They became known as vampires because of this. The only one that did not follow this desperate trend was Rika.

While his family did try to force blood into him, the taste and smell of it was repulsive to him and in turn it did not sit well with him often then not making him sick every time it was forced into him. Between this and the fact that, he suffered from the sickness the worse, his family took him out to an old forest shrine and left him there to die. However, instead of wallowing about it in despair, Rika kept practicing his alchemy and helping travelers that got lost or injured within that forest.

Rumors of him spread around and in turn some people ventured out to see who he was exactly; however, most quickly turned and fled away once seeing him and associating him with the vampires in the area. He was constantly hounded by humans and so was forced to move about to keep them off of his trail.

However, his sickness did slow him down and in time he was too weak to move or run away. Still with his last bit of energy he was able to find a place to hide in within the mountains where no one dared to travel. It was a rough place to be in, but at least he could die in peace in a way if death really wanted him that badly.

His hide away was found by a strange traveler who called herself Black Velvet. She was known as a witch and hunted for it, but found herself understanding his situation well enough when he told her why he was in the cave to begin with. After all, she too was dying and looking for a way to save herself. It was for this very reason that when she heard about his sickness, she told him she had a way to save him; however, in order to do that it would require her to merge part of herself with him.

The cost for such a cure would be that the process would alter their minds, bodies, and the way they functioned as beings since they would be sharing a body with one another. She gave him to consider and after a day, he agreed to the process. A process that was painful, but in the end did save him. From the merge he gained his pretty and feminine looks, his second personality, and his appetite for demons and shadows as food. However, he lost his ability to connect easily with others or to understand emotions in an easy fashion or the ability to hide that he was anything, but human. Black Velvet who became his most loyal companion lost part of her body becoming a being that was made of strange matter and book pages and also lost most of her emotions too.

When the world blinked out due to Anti-Space, it was Black Velvet's power that kept him safe until he became resident and alchemist on the SS Philemon. Even all these years later, Black Velvet still remains at his side acting as a plug that gives him power in battle and when not in battle she can be seen in areas that the alien is in.

In time, he became a resident of the SS Philemon and began his work once more as alchemist aboard the ship.

Tough as Nails can only affect one type of defense.

Self Heal is too strong at 5%. Lower it to 2% or give it a trigger condition. If you gave it a trigger condition, you could push it up to 10% depending on the condition's severity.

I don't understand whether the Confusion status is supposed to be a permanent status he is constantly affected with or if it's only triggered when faced with stuff like blood.
