That was truly unfortunate that the whole sit and drink was not the guy’s style, but who knew maybe he’d change his mind and take him up on the offer. Not that that was something he would be thinking about once they were in the hall and the gate behind them was shut. Axis got the shadow’s to back off and give them room to form up. He’d let the other three take the lead and go ahead with attacking. The Waddle Dees would go for an all around attack with lightening and Mr. G (yeah that is right he already gave him a nickname. Deal with it.) going in with gun power blazing. The show was impressive to be sure, but it wasn’t like he was going to sit back and let them do all the work. He too had a job to play.
“Looks like it will be a long haul then, but I’ll do my best to support y’all,” he would begin as Axis moved to joined the front lines and he hung back and answered Mr. G’s question. “Before the shit hit the fan up here there was another group on the ship fighting off these guys in another section and doing their best to fix our engine problem. Outside of them, everyone else has been getting put in safe places until this blows over, so it is kind of our job not to fuck up too bad, ya know?” he would say as he watched Axis make an attack with her gun. Activating his own weapon, Margarita would appear and unleash an icy breath upon the enemy.

Once again the eyes of the Waddle-doo's started to shinem but this time rather then build up into an electrical surge a stone started to form infront of each waddle-doo, the glow from their eye seemingly drawing in small bits of stone and dirt to add to the growing pointed stone floating before them, Then it was unleashed at the enemies, the Stone shower, just like the the bolts of electircity before, being launched in a massed volley.

Narrowing his eyes at the enemies in front, whom luckily didn't seem to be a great danger at the moment, Grimm would give half his focus towards the conversation. "The way I understand this, it might be more the other way around. If the assumption is correct that the engine issue is what is causing this infenstation to happen, them fucking up and failing to fix it would be worse than us becoming demon chow here." In theory at least. It would still be bad, but not as bad as the source of the problem remaining unfixed. "What's up with these creatures anyway? It almost seems like they're trying to speak." None of that was comprehensible, however. Maybe they were just making death threats, but it was impossible to tell one way or another.

“Of course you didn’t,” Tequila would say his tone light and playful despite the serious situation. Despite the miss everyone else was more or less making contact with their attacks and it seemed with each strike the enemy would fall. It was seeming easy, but how long would that last would be questionable enough, especially if the enemies were going to just pour in like a flood. In any case, he’d keep watch on the battle as he heard the other respond. "I won’t argue their job is pretty important, but I didn’t exactly come out here to be chow for these guys and leave the rest that cannot fight undefended. Besides if we fail, they get at the core of the ship and there will be no good to have a fixed engines and no who knows how to fully control the ship.” Yeah he wasn’t about to let these bastard to destroy him or anyone else when he could do something about it. That aside, Axis would move forward again to attack while Tequila would summon his harp and play a tune that caused Margarita to growl before leaping forward to snap at the remaining enemy.

"BULLSEYE! BANG!" Axis laughed heartily as her bullet tore the Shadow apart. However, immediately, new enemies began pouring towards them. "Awwww, these are just Shadows again! Booooring!" Axis exclaimed.
Grimm would be aware that Shadows weren't really sensible creatures. Even if they were trying to speak, they likely only did so as a reflex.
Meanwhile, the Waddle Dees would receive a telepathic message from their peers back at the bridge control room. 'Seven more. Scans reveal a Demon at the back of the group.'

Getting the Message three of the Waddle-doo's took out a notepad and wrote out the message before each of them scampered over to the other members of the group one to each do deliver the message leaving them with the leaf of paper to read before returning to the Waddle-doo formation
once more their eyes glowed and the stones formed infront of them before launching off in a cassed volley against the demons infront of them.

Obviously, nobody wanted to become food, but even with combat training, there were only so many threads a small force could actively get to and handle. And if there were more around, then apparently it was assumed more weren't needed to take care of this anyway. Not that he knew how this place operated. Also, this girl....

Tequila would tilt his head at the question posed earlier wondering if this one did not know things about the shadows or if maybe he had forgotten. Regardless, he would respond to both what he heard and the question with his next words. “Shadows are just mimicking words to be frank. Unless they are something like a demon, I highly doubt they are gonna make the best to talking companions. Regardless of that while manpower would be nice we aren’t exactly a military fleet here, so we work with what we have.” It was true they could be stretched thin if they didn’t get more folks helping out, but on the other hand he didn’t like to focus on what could be better, but instead of simply what could be used now to help them out. Speaking of useful, the waddle dee were bringing a message to them. What was this a report? ….

The hand that held the note would drop to his side as his hand curled into a fist crumbling the note as inwardly an emotion similar to rage filled him at the very thought of such a thing. Even so, he wouldn’t frown as he smirked and kept a positive attitude.
“Aww come on let our lovely sharpshooter have her fun. Besides, these guys are probably just a warm up anyhow.” He’d dig in a pouch where he kept the items and pulled out a medicine before looking at Grimm. “Heads up Mr. G,” he’d say tossing the med over to the guy before refocusing on the field as Axis jumped into the action again.

The fact that the shadows continued to push was something that had to be stopped, they couldn't be allowed to get to the Bridge, and as the one shadow attacked the waddle-doo's a few moved in the way to take the attack for their fello Waddle-doos getting wounded in the process, the others moved them ot the back of the group where a few started to do simple first aid on their wounds while the others once more started to build up electrical energy in their eyes before unleashing it on the enemy.

"Maybe not, but these days, you could even find a talking tin can, so I'd say nothing is entirely impossible anymore." Considering there were both Shadows and Demons, who was to say other variations could never come up? It'd be hard to tell without having info on something newer after all. "Don't most people have modules with the state the world is in? It doesn't sound like it'd be too hard for most people to have some fighting capability, even if to defend themselves from straight up dying on spot." That would make the job of specialized fighters a lot easier. If the civillians could at the very least last a little while on their own when needed.
He'd catch the medicine with a faint smirk.
"You lot are just not doing a good job at being cohesive. One side explains how this is such a crisis and we can't fuck up, and the other treats it like a fun game to spice up the day. I'm a little doubtful about it being both, given this is some contradicting information."

Anyway…it looked like the enemy was deciding to play all sort of nasty throwing around their ugly spells and attacks, but no one on their side was going to fall if he could help it. The other would catch the medicine as the waddle dee’s made their attack.

In a more tense situation he could still perform his function, but he much rather light within heavy and dark situations.
In any case, the bear would be taken down by Mr. G, leaving just two others. Not missing a beat, Axis would attack seeming to turn the heat up this round.

Edit: Axis's Crit Chance should be 1-4 not 1-5. Axis should be at full health due to healing happening after her attack.
Please note: Mediarama is doing 50% not 55% due to correcting strength for balance.
Note to self: Charrie Str: +10% added to any healing spell and 15% add to any healing item he uses.
