[Chapter #1.2.2 - Two Strandees]

The first sensation Colette felt as she woke up was a burning pain in her cheek and palms. She was sore all over, as if having spent the night on the hard floor instead of a bed. Dust or something similar blew around her, whipping lightly at her back, not enough to hurt her, but definitely enough to make itself noticed. The pain in her cheek and palms came from the rough ground she had found herself on. Covered by what appeared to be sand, rocky or metallic formations spiked upwards on several places. She had been lucky not to find herself sleeping on one of those. Regardless, she would be shocked to realize she had found herself nowhere familiar.

X01's ship crashed as she was pursuing an ASSW signal. Having found herself trapped in a dust storm in space and then suffering a sudden but devastation collision with a bomb, she had been lucky that the extent of the consequences was that her ship merely plummeted downward and into some manner of desert world.

A dry cold made the air difficult to breathe as mountainous formations spread across the horizon. Sand blew constantly, making it difficult to hold one's eyes open for too long, making the cold even more unbearable with each gust. Worse yet, there were no signs of any civilization anywhere in sight, nor did this place seem to be a place on Earth. Colette at least had no knowledge of such a place back there.

Then, where exactly was this place?

X01 and Colette would be able to see each other upon getting up and looking around. Perhaps the other held some clues as to what this place was.

Colette tried to protect herself from the blowing dust as she looked around. She didn't know where she was or how she got here. Unsure she stood up and looked around and saw another humanoid figure near by. Slowly approaching them she spoke "Umm..Hello do you know where I am?" she said to them trying to keep the blowing dust out of her mouth.

X01 opened her eyes and a readout appeared in her vision, a system check started to run as she lay there, and eventually it deemed her condition to be acceptable, with that knowledge and the fact that she had received little to no damage, her Set of Battle arms unfolded from her back and pushed at the ground, lifting her to her feet slowly as small thrusters fired on her body to aid in lifting her.

Finally getting back to her feet the thrusters died down and her secondary pair of arms returned to their stowed position looking like a large metal backpack, she then looked around, her scanners searching for the sarcophagus that was her ship, not seeing it she could only assume she would have to locate her ship and effect repairs so she may continue to close in on the Signal that brought her in this direction.

It was then she seen the woman walking towards her, X01 towered over the smaller female as she was then asked a question "We are on a planet, seemingly in a desert...I do not know the name of this planet, only that what I was seeking is here..." she said simply before turning to look around.

"I suggest you stay with me for safety...doubtful there are dangers here...my Ship should have crashed nearby" she said as she looked around, apparently not bothered by the sand blowing around as she was more using her center eye rather then her two human like ones.

Colette was taken a back by the size of the figure in front of her as it stands up and the apparently nonhuman parts of it. Well her going by the sound of the figures voice. "Ummm..yeah that sounds like a good idea." she said with a slight nod. After all two are better then one after all and plus side of things she could block the dust for her a bit. "I'm Colette Starling what's your name?" she asked as the two of them started moving forward. Or at least as forwards you can in a desert.

Will use 1 movement point and move the party up 4 spaces.

As the two started to walk X01 was constantly scanning for her ship, it would be the easiest shelter and means of escape once repaired, and repairing it would be easy with her repair nanites, finding it seemed to be the issue in this sand storm.

As the Girl introduced herself X01 logged the name into her Memory "This Unit is Designated X01" she replied as they walked, it was then that a proximity warning went off in her mind "Stay on guard...Enemies are approaching" she said as she looked around and spotted the Shadows.

She took a stride forward and her Battle Fists unfolded from her back almost like they were stretching, thrusters also fired from under her dress levitating her up off the ground as she assumed a battle ready guard as three small machines launched from her back and started to orbit her

Colette smile at X01 as she introduced herself. She was about to respond but was stopped as the robot warned of enemies. Seeing the strange creatures approach Colette took cover behind X01. Seeing the mechanical lady start engaging the creatures Colette moved further away from the combat she was just performer what could she do anyway.

"Do truly wish to run my ally?" A voiced sounded in her mind. "Running away when you always chose to go forward no matter what stood in your way." It finished "What can I do? I don't have anything to help them with." Colette responded. "Fufufu of course you do my ally you always have you just need to bring it forth." its said. "How do I do that?" Colette asked. "Simple just call me forth you know my name my dear ally." The voice said fading away.  

Colette closed her eyes thinking she didn't' want to run away it would just lead to her getting lost or worst but if there where creatures around she couldn't just let X01 do all the fighting it wouldn't be right. As those thoughts went through her mind a name formed with them one that felt full of power and slowly but confidently she spoke it "Come fourth Medjed!" she said as powered swirled around her and a figure appeared above her.

"Very good my ally." he figured said before turning to the creatures and firing a beam out of its eye at one of them

Getting a lucky hit Colette summons Medjed once more and continues her assault on the next enemy.

As the attack hit her, A robotic like building seemed to appeared behind X01 standing roughly nine feet nine inches tall behind her it seemed to glow and her body started to repair itself from some of the damage it had just sustained

"Systems check in progress....Systems fully functional....Activating Orgia mode...Exterminating Target" As X01 spoke her body was surrounded by a purple Aura, her eyes started to glow a deep purple as well, the building like robot that stood behind her suddenly unfurled large angel like wings before suddenly X01 was dashing forward the Aura forming a beam like blade from her hand which she used to slash at the Shadow as Her persona was blasting the area around it with Light.

Reeling from the magical fire from the enemy Colette summons Medjeb once more but instead of a beam firing out of the eyes a small explosion of darkness happens around the enemy.

With the Flames lashing at her X01 didn't seem to react to them, instead she simply raised her arms as Her Persona started to once more Bombard the area with Countless beams of light.

As the enemies fade Colette collapsed a little as the adrenaline subsided. "Very good my ally." the voice said as the power the swelled inside of her faded. She took a deep breath as she stood up again on shaky legs. "W..hat was that?" she asked X01 having noticed they to seemed to use such power but seemed a lot more comfortable with it.
