Its been two days since Kogami’s last encounter with them . “He made a phonecall ahead of time as he goes to visit the man that basically kicked his ass. He needed a change, how could a human being fight like that. He had to know, and came across the door as he knocked and waited. “Hmm…. Hello?” Kogami waited patiently, he didn’t care how long he had to wait in front of that door.

∞ In the back of the empty arcade would resided a single wooden door while all the others seemed iron in nature. The teenager entered the arcade; the gaming machines flashing and the music coming from the speakers popping. The staff looked at the boy and began to shoo them away, all until the manager saw him. She ordered the crew to continue the cleaning and pointed off to the very 'out of place door'. 'Mister Puzzle has been expecting you. Please, make your way to the wooden door over there. He'll be with you momentarily.' With that being said, the manager swayed away and vanished within the cluster of arcade games. The boy approached the door and knocked. Almost instantly, he'd be greeted with a familiar voice.

'Come In.'

∞ The 'room' was extremely large. Off in the corner resided a warn-out punching bag which hung from one of the support beams. In the middle of the 'room' sat a luxurious billiards table, and directly beside the table would be an extravagant bar; many liquors riddling it's shelves. The Android sat on the bars table with dumbbells firmly in grip. He was shirtless but sporting his trademark shades in the dimly lit 'room'. He glared at the boy, placed the dumbbells down, picked himself up from the top of the table, and slowly walked over to the billiards table.

'I've been expecting you. Do you still wish to work for Miss Tsurinai?'

∞ He asked with a calm tone of voice. Alphonse leaned up against the billiards table and picked up one of the darts sitting upon it's green surface. He threw the dart with a flick of the wrist; the projectile slicing through the air and hitting the center of the board located all the way on the other side of the 'room'. He awaited the teenagers response[size=13]

Kogami was pretty silent as he adjusted his tie and started to check the place out. “Yes, I would say its about time to up my game from being just a simple gangster. I am sure that there is something a little more that I can achieve. You, well… your amazing. I never seen a human being move like that in my entire life. It probably took you years of training and devotion to do such a thing. Abnormal speed and strength, and I was still outclassed. It just shows how immature I am…” Kogami then takes a seat and reaches in his white coat pocket for his bottle of water. He then starts to have a little bit as he puts it in the table in front of him. “I am not too sure what happened after I passed out mr puzzle, thank you for meeting me by the way. “ Kogami did a sharp bow, its almost the same feeling that he had when he met a yakuza leader for the first time. The presence was overwhelming…

“ What exactly is my standing as of now? I know I have a lot to work on.. but I am willing to learn if you are willing to teach. I am ready to endure any hardship if it means I could say goodbye to this old life and work with you and the company you associate with….Soki’s company… “

'Don't give me too much praise, Kogami. Like you said yourself: It took me many years to reach my level of combat finesse and prowess. But with hard work, dedication, and motivation. Even you can surpass me, this i'm most certain of.'

∞ As the child sat and spoke, Alphonse simply listened intently. It seemed he still wanted to work with Tsurinai cooperation. But didn't quite know where he stood in terms of 'acceptance'. To be honest, even the all knowing Android couldn't answer this question. The heir to the cooperation remained mysterious; enigmatic in her way of thinking and going about things. So whatever first impression she had at this teenager, Alphonse couldn't even begin to guess. However, he himself has a few concerns, so it'll probably be best to address those before concerning themselves about the heir. The Android continued to throw the darts across the room; he spoke while doing so.

'I know nothing of your standing with Miss Tsurinai, Kogami. However, I must warn you, if you're really willing to work for Miss Tsurinai. You must know her manner of business isn't for individuals with 'normal' skills. Individuals with your 'expertise' will more than likely be in the field collecting test subjects for further experiments. You do understand this, correct? Any day could be your last, are you okay with that, Kogami? If so let us continue. You certainly have phenomenal strength and abilities. But I believe you're not utilizing them properly. Your tactics are lackluster, swordsmanship leaves much to be desired, and stamina nothing really extraordinary. If it wasn't for your insane amount of strength, we wouldn't be having this conversation, Kogami. So my question: How do you plan on changing all this? Are you even willing to?'

The question was pretty straight forward. To work with her, was he really ready to risk everything ? Was he really ready to put everything on the line? It was pretty different than his usual encounters with another persona user who seemed to have the same source of power. She had power like him, and she had abnormal people that worked for her. People with amazing skills with no power whatsoever, and yet they all fall in line with the company. “ Yes, with all honesty. At first I only saw this as a normal job with people that wasn’t in the know. But she knows, she has power, and shes smarter than I am. This is not an enemy I want to have, if you cant beat them… join them. Its the choir of the weaklings , we all sing the same tune when there is some dictator or some marshal law, even I am not anything more than human.. or anything less. But besides my meaningless attempt to kiss up to someone stronger, financially and psychologically…”

Kogami cleares his throat. “ I believe I have what it takes to be a member of the organization. It’s a window of opportunity that appears once in a lifetime… death is a given in any kind of job… even being a teacher brings the threat of a disturbed child. I am willing to change, sadly… this is something I cant do alone. Speaking honestly right now, I don’t have the capebilities of growing any further… if someone doesn’t point me in the right direction. Otherwise, ill be stuck doing the same things… I don’t want to see this as my limit anymore. So ill continue to train, I would continue to polish the things that I think I am good at, and throw away the grave weakness of letting my emotions control me. “ Kogami was silent once more. “ If you see that as a suitable answer…. Mr Puzzle…. I would like to work with you.”

'I see.' He replied with a tone of indifference before picking himself up from the billiards table. 'You certainty seem to have the right attitude, Kogami.' He paused and made his way over to the minibar. He opened one cabinet after another; pulling out a small glass and a few high classed liquors. 'You're ready to grow and acknowledge your weaknesses, which is a very good sign.' He examined the trio of bottles before him. 'But physical training will only get you so far within this field of work, Kogami.' He spoke in a very calm voice; hopefully the young teen knew what he was implying. 'Tactics and planing will ensure your survivability within the field.' He began to pour some liquor into the glass, 'Without those you'll surly die.' The words blunt and straight to the point before he downed the liquor. 'But i'm willing to give you a chance, Kogami. You could either be a very valuable asset to Miss Tsurinai with the proper guidance.' He came from behind the minibar and made his back towards the billiards table. He looked at the teenager and spoke one last string of words; the tension in the air now thick. 'Lets just make one thing clear, Kogami. If you endanger Miss Tsurinai in anyway. I will not hesitate to kill you. Do you understand?'

“I understand that perfectly, I know that you are skilled enough to kill me at any time. So, when do we get started? I am ready any time you are for training, even now. ” Kogami kept a straight face, even though he was pretty conscious of the danger around him. This man was way more skilled that he could ever be at the moment, the only rational decision he could make was to learn whatever he could. “And one more thing that I been meaning to ask you, just where is the origin of your strength and loyalty? Are you as strong as you have to be to protect her? Or is this the power of someone that has something worth protecting? “ This was an honest question, Kogami was unable to comprehend this man’s motives and as to how he started off with Soki. But he doubted that he would be granted a special flashback as to how things came to be. Even if he was ignored in that retrospect, he would still be starting his training as an operative.
