Appearance: Tall (about 6 feet-tall), average build (a bit Endomorph). Hair originally brown, but likes to dye it white in the upper part. A Dog Skull tattoo under his neck with the motto: "Blind Dog Pride". Brownish/Green eyes, fair-skinned. Haku likes to wear a mix between stylish and punk/rock clothes.
Its the kind of dude who would go out shopping wearing a long flannel shirt, with blue dress pants and leather motorcycle boots. All this with a vest buttoned over the clothes.

His everyday clothes consist on a black shirt with white long-sleeves. The front part of the shirt has the phrase: "Gay 4 Pay". Over this, he uses a dark red open shirt. Some worn out blue jeans and dark brown military boots. He never takes of his silver spiked earring in the left lobule, since it was a gift from his sister, days before he moved to Endymion.

Most accurate Haku's concept:

Alternate Appearance: When fighting, his clothes change in to an armor mainly consisting in a burgundy coat/cloack with a removable hoodie. Underneath it, a modified long-sleeved shirt resembling a Kevlar Vest in the chest area, a distinctive "Spiked Dog Collar" around the base of the hoodie, a belt with multiple pockets, dark brown gloves with small steel knucles, dark brown trousers, elbow pads and kneepads, and a pair of black motorcicler boots with steel tip resembling 3 claws. (Mildly inspired in the Apotheus Armor Mod for TES5: Skyrim)

Apotheus Armor:

His mask consist in a silver coloured muzzle, in the shape of a foo-dog showing its teeth. The mask covers the face from the nose to the chin, including part of the cheeks. The mask represents the inner anger botled up in Haku´s mind and his need to "bark up" his real thougts, and despite his kind nature, in the inside rest a ferocious beast, ready to tear you apart.

Haku´s Mask:

Personality: A self imposed outcast, mistrutful until entering into confidence. He is really emotional, but will pull off your teeths if you mock any of his cherished. Do not cross him; he might forgive, but never forgets. Quiet, but attentive.

Despite his notorious accent, Haku manages to have good speech skills. He does his best to keep the cool in front of the critics and teasings he sometimes receives, but sometimes this brings out the worst of him, and resorts to isolate himself by listening some music, cooking or interacting with the first non-bypedal creature he catches with the eyes to release some stress.

The only beings worthy of all his love and trust, are animals. Crawling, hairy, scaly, four-legged, eight-legged, elderly, puppies, healthy and even mangy, all kinds and sizes had passed through his hands and left warmer, healthier, fed and with a new friend.
He adores nature, and finds extremely enriching to learn about physics and environmental sciences.

He aspires to be more wise, but true and honestly wise, that is one of the reasons he likes to dye his hair white. The white hair represents the experience that comes with age, independency and inteligence. In this way, he lends worship to the wisdom he aspires to.

Haku has a tendency of being too cold for his own good, this is because he has a hard time interacting with people. Haku never had many friends, he had to move a lot, and the only family he could ever count on where his little sister and his mother. By not having a father figure, he became subject of teasings. He was called a faggot and was mocked for his asian roots, this all led to him becoming a shut in, and reacious to speak to people.

He has a very characteristic and acid sense of humor, and although you might feel awkward with any of his comments, you will end up laughing, since you will know that you are one of the lucky few that can see that part of him.

The Background

History: Of Argentinian mother and Japanesse father, he was raised most of his life in the other side of the equator. Due to the separation and traumatic divorce of his parents, Haku had to move in repeated occasions, which gave him a certain incapacity to settle roots in each new city.

He was often bullied since he was a child because of his Japanesse roots, his name, appearance or almost anything that emphasized this aspect of himself was good enough reason to make him feel bad about it.
He grew up with a bitter sense of personal shame, and often resorted to parodying himself to try to please his peers, this laid the foundation of his low self-esteem and confidence problems.

The years went by, he turned shy, and so the abuses escalated. From verbal to physical, to a point in wich even his mother didn't knew what to do.

Years ago, whem he was still in grade school, he became friends with a group of school-mates a few grades above him, who invited him to hang out and play. In several ocassions, they ended up teasing him, talking shit about his family, they chased him for whole blocks throwing rocks and screaming at him, and even using him as a punching bag just to get a response.
One day, he was stood up in the street when he was coming back home from school, the bullies grabed him up and started delivering their aggression quota. Haku endured the blows, until eventually he managed to channel his rage in a way that he never believed himself capable off.

He responded in the most violent manner, grabbing one of the attackers with a sweater he was carrying at that moment, guiding him in a quick turn until he stamped it against one of the walls. In a bestial display of rage, he took a long stick that was on the floor and pointed to the stomach of the next boy who looked at him in dismay. The third one took him by surprise and grabbed him by the back in a lock that holded firmly one arm with the back of his head. He received two punches in the guts by the second guy, until he managed to pull himself off by chomping the hand of his oppressor. He turned berserk and grabbed the stick once again to bewilder the bullies, he aimed to the heads and the crotch... And left running as fast as he could, leaving his aggressors in the floor, he never saw them again.

When he arrived home, Haku laid in the bed trying to process what just happened. The surge of adrenaline he felt coursing through him was indescribable, like his heart was being struck by a lightining. And suddenly a thougt crossed his mind, if the others only saw him as just a stupid "Ponja" (spanish slang = Nipon) to tease, he would embrace that aspect of himself, and shut down his heart so NO ONE could never hurt him again.
He started practicing martial-arts in neighborhood clubs and through special classes, having to change tutors due to him moving a lot, but preserving the passion that made him start from the beginning.

His mother, Alma, is a prolific Psychiatrist specialized in forensic profiles and children's/juveniles treatment. Despite his Mother´s many doctorates, his family never had an opulent life and always needed to resist the harsh months. Haku grew up knowing about the importancy of hard work and to take advantage of the seasons of abundance. He has a little sister, Maika, who outlined in beauty and smarts, plus a great passion for arts and singing. His father, Katsuo, never appeared in the portraits, due to several bad situations involving hard disscussions and violent outcomes. Despite the divorce and the years of inncommunication, the man managed to re-appear in several occasions, just to mess things up.

His parents met when they were young, both students of the University of La Plata in Buenos Aires, and met each other during a party in one of the fraternities. Their love story was as intense as brief.
Katsuo lived in Argentina since he was a child and traveled back and forth to Endymion thanks to his family being in really good terms with the Government, wich made them filthy rich. But Alma on the other hand, was the third of four sisters, daughters of a landowner, originally from the interior of the country. She spent every last coin she managed to earn working for his father to leave the province and afford the career she so much dreamed of.

Alma got pregnant of Haku at the last year of her student career, she afforded the time to be mother and student thanks to the support of her peers, but Katsuo wasn´t supportive of her and even forced her to abbort the baby, in one ocassion he even tried to strangle her since she wouldn´t do his bidding. After the years, they came to terms with each other for a brief time, and decided to get married. Fruit of this truce Maiko was born, but the story repeated itself. After only 11 months of marriage, Katsuo´s affairs turned evident and the coexistence was impossible. Alma would face him, but he would end up menacing her and hitting her in front of the kids.

Alma resolved that, if she didn´t do something, she would end up as a corpse under a bridge, and her children would be left to their luck. She processed the divorce, and with the kids she arranged things to start over on another point of the country. The relationship with Katsuo boiled up and turned heavy, due to him starting legal actions against her, for him to be able to take possession of the children.
Katsuo ordered with his lawyers the arrangement of obligatory visits that his children had to fulfill, in order to be able to receive the food quota granted by law. Despite the fancy travels on boat, or the trips to the Amusement Park, these visits all ended in cries and bitter anecdotes, since Katsuo would badmouth the mother of his children in front of them, or even slap at them in public whenever he lost his temper.

After years of legal struggle, when Haku reached 18, he was allowed to firm a document in wich he stated, he would no longer accept the arrangement and that he had all the rights to cut ties with his progenitor. This backfired at him, since Katsuo's lawyers then argued, that by cutting ties with him, then he could not be credited with the food allowance that helped his mother pay the rent...
Since then, Haku has helped his family by doing part-time jobs until he could return to his studies.

With the time, opportunities arised, and he obtained the possibility to study abroad thanks to a scholarship, a chance many would consider delightful, except that it meant having to let go his Mother and Sister; the only family he ever had, and his very few friends to ensure his future, otherwise his mother could not afford paying for his studies being the only source of income in the home.

In addition, this implied another problem ... there was the possibility that he had to cross paths with his father, whom he despised for his constant abuses towards him and his mother. But the answer was clear, he needed to accept the scholarship, besides this could prove an opportunity to have more indepence.
Deep down, Haku knew that by moving on to Endymion he would stop being a hindrance for his Mother. He decided to swallow up this toughts, lock them up and press forward with a good face.

Once he arrived to Endymion City, he installed himself in a student apartment belonging to Seven Stars Academy, where he passed just the minimal amount of time to shower himself and grab his notebooks. The first 5 nights in the city, he spent them outdoors, in an outmost corner section of Lexaco Ranch, away from everything, with no luggage or clothes but the laying. He could not bear the idea of going back to bed and sleep placidly, then starting the day as if nothing happened, as if changing home was the simplest thing in the world. He needed to "rebel" in some way. He had to relieve the anguish he was carrying with him in some way. He was on the other side of the world, pretending that the immensity of strangers around him did not affect him in the slightest. And that the grandeur of the world was only a mirage.

But no, he did not belong there. And when he thought about it, he realized he wasn´t comfortable in his homeland either. How else could he take so fast the decision to leave everything behind, if it was not because he felt that he had NOTHING to begin with?. In countless times he was displaced from what little he had managed to establish, why this time was any different?. He did not want to depend on someone at his side to vent his miseries. It was a responsibility that could not fall on anyone.

"Just endure, to admit feeling alone is to admit defeat". He told to himself, like so many times in the past ...

I'm rather on the fence here. Since the Government seems to be ultimately isolationist, but they do allow tourists and such to come in and go from time to time. But as long as this can't be leveraged in any plot-related thread, I'll be fine with it.

This basically I did it to justify and empower the reason why Haku decides to go AGAINST the government further in the story...

I mean max % of your HP. Tier 2 skills tend to be in 10~15% unless they have something special. 5% increase in cost is fine with me. But again, that is up to you.
