Nothing suspicious indeed. But a smarter person wouldn't give away their involvement easily in the first place. Well, generally speaking. From what Phoenix had heard, the Cadets were pretty popular, and in some cases well known too, but that probably couldn't be said about those who protested them. If those guys were outing themselves in public a lot, they would likely just be asking to be hunted down. He would cock his head at the man slightly. ''I think I could take a hit decently well, if need be.'' He was pretty much metal after all, regardless of how one looked at it. Not that he would directly state so though, While he had next to no qualms about being a robot, he still didn't announce that for no reason. Some people could be annoying douches about it, and bothering with that was such a pain. It's better to wait with the shocking revelations for the moment where it is least expected. The reactions are always best at that point.

Regardless, he would proceed to shrug lightly. ''I think the people seriously opposing the Cadets would be prepared for a possible physical assault though. If they were sissies, why even stand against the government at all?''

It would make little sense. If you're going to fight, you have to not suck completely. Otherwise, you're equivalent to dead weight, and might as well go crawl in a hole. Or try to better yourself, that is.

''Life can be a cruel teacher.'' Although, some things could be easy occasionally. Which was a nice things to experience once in a while. Phoenix didn't mind either way in most cases. Life was life, and complaining about difficulty got you only so far. Mental complaints were a good substitute for passing time though, that much he would admit.

Regardless, he would offer the man a wry smirk. ''Just don't forget to return the book in time. Wouldn't want to be paying charges, I assume.'' Actually, it was a pain to write up those notices at times. On the other hand, they did bring in extra money, so he wouldn't complain too much. Still, he felt like giving a friendly warning today, so that was that. Now, time to finish up this arranging, right...? Tsk.

The Fisher of Souls would haul in his catch and look it over. The usual catch it would seem, but upon closer inspection it holds an odd surprise. A metal fish with a soul? And look it even had another fish attached to it by a string of fate? How curious. How odd. How delightfully delicious! But where would this strange thread take this odd? Hmm, he supposed he'd let the two go and watch and see.
