Guideless Greetings [Sosina]

Trinity had been walking by the room towards the Sorority room that the art club used and she stopped to listen, by the sounds of things the Media club was having some issues with their club, and she stood there at the door nibbling on the edge of her cookie as she listened to the boy that was apparently the head of the club, making a plan, it seemed to be a fine plan well worked out and it calmed the apparently worried club members, and she nodded to herself as she stood in the doorway apparently going completely unnoticed during the club meeting. She knew the boy, he was usually on the newspaper and he was a 3rd year, two whole years ahead of her and she was only a year younger then him.

It did puzzle her a bit how he had managed that, but she simply ended up chalking it up to him just having excelled in his classes, that wasn't to say she herself was a slouch in her classes but she also had some of her time devoted to practicing her music and her career, so maybe that was it? perhaps she would have been as far if she hadn't needed to split her focus? Ether way the difference was there, With the groups meeting over she stood there as they got to work, nibbling away on her cookie, her expressionless gaze going into the room over the people, it was far more crowded in this club then it was in her Art's club However she was confused as to why they apparently couldn't publish and so she decided the best person to ask was the club leader and so she silently walked into the room.

Now someone walking into the room wouldn't have been odd, but the total silence that Trinity managed to do it in probably was, her steps so light that her shoes didn't even make a sound that could be heard over the work being done, Her school uniform also didn't even make any shifting or settling sounds as she made her way into the room and towards the back, she simply continued to nibble away on her cookie. The other thing was the unfaltering gaze she had locked on the boy behind the desk with his bear plushy, she hadn't blinked once since she walked in, and had anyone noticed her or that they probably would have been a bit unnerved. But as it sat she made it to the back of the room nearly unnoticed.

As she got to the back of the room she popped the edge of the cookie out of her mouth and spoke up to the boy at the desk. "Excuse us...May we ask why your club seems unable to publish this week?" her gentle monotone voice coming out to ask the question as she looked at Chhaya with her expressionless face, her head tilted slightly to the side quizzically.

She listened to him as he seemed to bat aside her question, her expressionless face not changing, but her unblinking gaze finally broke from him as she blinked, still nibbling on the cookie as she looked at him, and to the bear plush, then to him again as she nodded a bit to his reassurance, though he seemed confused or worried she couldn't quite tell, but one thing was sure he looked like he was sick, maybe he had a cold on top of all this? she wasn't sure but she could ask...but would he appreciate that? as she pondered this silently in her head she tilted her head to the side still looking at the politely smiling boy. At least he was polite that was nice, most people just tried to end the conversation quickly. Once more her eyes traveled to the plushy, it was interesting to her, she hadn't seen one like that before...maybe home made?

Her eyes returned to the boys face and she wondered if maybe it was sleep deprivation? and still she simply stood there silently her head tilting the other way as she decided she would help, maybe she could help enough to let him rest and get better? that would be good for him, so with that she popped the edge of the cookie out of her mouth and spoke after a long silence.

"Is there anyway We can help?" she asked earnestly though her gentle monotone and still emotionless expression probably wouldn't convey that to well. and she once more popped the edge of the cookie into her mouth and nibbled once more on it, her gentle voice hardly carrying around the room the only hint the others had that she was there was the fact that some had looked up when their leader had addressed her.

It was then she realized she might need to be more specific and she popped the edge of the cookie out of her mouth once more to speak "We mean is there anyway we can help to maybe help you print this week? or help for next?" she clarified in her gentle voice as she looked to him, her eyes nearly unblinking once more as she finally blinked again after popping the cookies edge back in to her mouth to nibble upon once more.

Trinity nodded as he rejected her assistance, not that she felt sad about it, it seemed he was doing so to save face perhaps? or maybe he liked to do things himself or his way? though he seemed to think she was part of a larger sorority which made her tilt her head as she looked at him, nibbling on her cookie all the while. She wondered if she could help him then if he was the type to want to do things for himself? But she could tell he needed help, after all he looked ill, maybe there was something she could do to help him feel better? After all he seemed to feel so bad that he had a plush with him.

Tilting her head to the other side as she looked at him she shook her head to clarify herself "No..We don't mean a sorority...We mean Myrna want's to help..." then to try and be tactful about it she leaned in and said quietly "Are you feeling well?...can We help you?" she didn't want to let the others over hear her as she wasn't sure if he was the type to not want others to call attention to his illness when he was ill, but she felt like he may need help.

So she stood there her cookie returning to her mouth as she nibbled on the edge of it, and looked at the boy with her nearly unblinking expressionless gaze and her mind going through ways she could help him...maybe a meal? she had some soup she could give him...but if it was dietary maybe he would need more then that? but she should ask first assuming might be insulting.

This was also one of those things that she wasn't good at telling with others, if they wanted help or not, Though the more she looked at him the more she worried a bit inside, and then she would look to the plushy again, and her mind wandered to if she could make a model like it, then an Idea hit her, but she would ask about it after he answered her. After all she had requested information from him, it was only polite to wait for him to answer her before she asked something else.

she nodded as he answered her once more, and then once he answered her question about her health she nodded a bit again, if he said he was doing fine then she would trust he knew himself more then she could considering it was his own body. So with that out of the way she was going to ask about something else since she had a few things she may need help with, one being that bear he had, so she popped the cookie edge she was nibbling on out of her mouth to speak "Then may Alistar ask for help from you? If it's not to much trouble? They require a model to wok on their sculpture, and we would like to us your bear as the model, if that is okay with you?, you may accompany if you wish..The art room is just a door down" she seen no reason to not ask, after all the boy said he was fine.

Though she figured she should offer something at the very least and she remembered the food she had in her backpack and she decided it would do for two people if he wished that "We can offer refreshments as compensation for your time" she offered as she looked at him her gaze near unblinking still, and her expressionless gaze simply resting on him as she spoke in that monotone, really she hoped he would say yes, she was sure that working from a reference model rather then from her own thoughts would help her improve her modeling work, After all having a reference would mean she could constantly check her work against it to make sure she was shaping correctly.

As she stood there it seemed one of the club members finally noticed her and she heard a sound she was use to hearing but not in school, a fangirl squeal as she seemed to register who it was standing there before asking to make sure "E...excuse me are you...Nola?...f..from Trinity?".

Trinity turned and looked at the girl and nodded which got another excited squeal from the girl and made Trinity tilt her head a bit at the girl as she was asked to sign a picture, or have a picture taken with the girl.

Hearing his reason to decline she nodded a bit, and she watched as the member was chastised for her outburst. it Seemed that he liked to run his club like a business, which made sense considering what they did, without some sort of work ethic a club like this could slip from newspaper to tabloid rather rapidly and she looked to the student that requested the picture "When you are off work...Club activities are important...as is your club head.. she said in her monotone before turning her unblinking gaze back to the boy behind the desk, then to the bear once more, before she looked back up at the boy and his hair and eyes, he seemed rather odd in coloration, much like her own, was he another like her? Well that would explain his frail and ill appearance if only a little, but the fact of the matter was in the end she didn't have a model now.

Then it occurred to her as she tilted her head once more as she thought of the question, but he apologized about his club members and she thought she would reply to that first "We are sorry for causing the disturbance, we did not intend to when we walked in" while her face was expressionless, and her voice monotone she did mean what she said, had she known that kind of disturbance would happen and that he would have been so bothered by it, she may have asked to talk to him in privet.

Finally she moved on to the question that she wanted to ask him now that she found she couldn't model the bear and she looked right at him and tilted her head once more "Then...can we have you?" she stood their waiting for her answer, her question was of course related to him modeling for her to make a clay figure out of, and as she thought of her question and heard a female gasp behind her she decided clarification was in order "If we cannot get the bear to use as a model may we have you model for us? we can compensate you for your time...we can play music for you...or offer food...we require an interesting model to practice with...if you are not bothered".

The other reason she was asking is she thought that maybe it would be a bit of a rest for him, and looking at him it seemed he needed at least a little rest. She would need to figure out what was making him sick, maybe then she could help a little in that way. Though now she wondered if she was pushing to hard and if a different approach would help, maybe just meeting with him more, when he wasn't busy, to talk, would be enough? For the moment though she would wait for his reply.

Trinity Tilted her head a bit at the boys reaction, and then Finally nodded as he agreed and she turned to go "Please follow us....the art room is empty so we will be alone...We will then need you to do things for us so we are ready to continue, if you do not mind that?" she asked completely missing how her words could be misunderstood or the context confused, especially since most of the staff in the club room where only half listening to them, though the same female voice that gasped before gasped once more but with an additional female voice doing the same, making Trinity turn her head to the club room and tilt her head a moment as she tried to figure out why they would do that but she didn't figure it out as she continued to the door and she turned to look at The boy.

"We believe we may have forgotten to give you our name...We are Nola, what is your name? We should at least know that before we do things together alone in private" and once more Trinity had completely missed her wording and once more the gasps came from the room of people as she looked over to them once again a bit confused to their reasons for doing so, though her expressionless face didn't betray any emotion as she gazed at the group of girls that had gasped this time, the blush on the groups faces obvious.

She truly was baffled by why they would react that way, maybe they were unaware of what modeling entailed? the common misconception being that the model had to be nude may have been the reason? but that didn't make sense, that was mostly used for painting, and given that she had asked about the bear first it was quite obviously not the reason for her asking for a model, she seen no need to clarify what she said, so perhaps the girls thought it was scandalous for two people of opposite genders to be alone in a room together? that was archaic thinking however and she highly doubted that was the reason....Perhaps it was due to the one girl who started all of it having identified her as part of Trinity? that seemed the most rational reason for them to be reacting this way.

Looking back to the boy she tilted her head a bit as she waited "May we go? I am getting quite anxious to begin our activities" and as she finished saying that the group of girls started all whispering after they gasped at what was said, Trinity not realizing again how what she said could be taken another way, and simply assumed it was idol gossip.
