| Lights out, complete darkness... Whispers all around... not a single crack in the tent, no light peeking in, no surprises revealed...
"Well now, isn't this a treat~?" A booming voice, a loudspeaker-- no, many. "I thought for sure we were done with these islands, what made us come back here, huh?" Intrigue, louder whispers and confusion. A low sifting noise was heard, gas being released? No... smoke. The darkness was slowly pierced, gradually turning lighter, before the spotlights turned on in a fantastical spark of majesty and illuminated the entire top!
"Now, I know what you're all thinking... where's our star, Cuore?! Well, our lovely Lia Abate has given me the most gracious honor of hosting our first return show in the islands..." Oohs and aahs... surprised gasps, even more whispers. Yet they were silenced as the woman raised her hand. "And who am I? Well..."
She'd quickly grasp her dark cloak tightly and rip it away with a flourish. Anyone would notice that the entire article of clothing would begin burning away completely, starting from where the woman had grasped it, and finally being completely incinerated into nothing but dust before it hit the ground. Everyone knew who this was right away, gold locks flowing freely coupled with beautiful lilac eyes... a cheer erupted through the crowd, and they began chanting."Goldilocks! Goldilocks! Goldilocks! Goldilocks! Goldilocks! Goldilocks!" "That's right, my wonderful audience! Goldilocks is hosting the show today and you better L I K E, liiiiiike it~!" A final whoop echoed through the entire Biggest Top, just as the remaining performers stepped on up to the ring and bowed. The crowd chanted their names in succession after the initial thrill of the first show. Oh yes, this would be amazing... | |

| The performers started to perform various acrobatics in the ring around Goldilocks for a little while, until a few performers left to climb up the nearby poles to a tightrope hanging over another raised platform with sharp-looking objects pointing straight up. At the top, the lights focused on another hooded person, holding their hands out to showcase they were indeed a person, they kept their body and face hidden as they walked the tightrope. Once in the middle over the spikes, the figure lifted their body on one set of toes as they began to spin, drawing the collective breaths of the crowd. After a few twirls, they let their foot slide off, letting them fall and catch the rope with their own hands, as they twirled and swung in complete circles around the rope. This continued, exciting the crowd even more than before.
And then the rope snapped.
The figure looked as though they were startled even under the hood, and began to fall straight down over the spikes. People were screaming in shock and horror, until the cloak was impaled by the spikes below, sending the biggest chill through everyone's spines.
The cloak fluttered for a moment, before unfolding over the spikes to reveal no body, and instead it appeared as though Goldilocks grew green hair behind her, as a familiar celebrity pulled from behind Goldilocks, and she placed her mouth towards the microphone. | |

| As the act went on, the winds began to howl, but the sounds outside seemed to not beat the loud noises of the circus. However, those who were still on their phones, would see the news, and some would begin to look outside. Before long, one of the outside workers came behind the two girls to warn them of what was happening outside. The news of a discolored sky, and what appeared to be monsters in the air brought a strange glare from Lia. She was not very happy to hear about this, and of course she didn't take it as a joke. She looked to Rita for what she thought to do. The people here could not make it out in time, and soon if the word did spread to them, they would either panic or attempt to flee. Outside, they could start to see a strange golden glow leak through the tent. The light moved around over the top, which caught the eyes of everyone. On instinct she grabbed the mic to shout as everyone either was looking around, getting up, or still focused on her. "Don't worry everyone! You all need to stay inside, and avoid whatever's going on outside. Trust me! Everyone get below the seats and bleachers!" She shouted. Maybe it was her beauty or authoritative voice that she still had over the years, but many followed her, while a few would attempt to see what the fuss was about. Before they could exit however, a blast of strange energy hit the ground near the entrance, scaring them off. The blast made a small crater. Lia looked to Rita and grabbed her hand tightly. "We need to go out there now while we still can." She had no doubt Rita would help her; being her loved one. She would go out regardless, to see a strange being emanating a twisted kind of light and standing near ten feet tall at the courtyard near the entrance to the top. The rest would be keeping the civilians inside. Lia clenched her fists. Player vs. Demon Combat has Begun - Dominion:

| Rita couldn't help but whistle to herself as the light show went on. The wind howling somehow reminded her of old times, and it was now more than apparent that coming back... may not have been such a great idea. The blonde sighed softly and shrugged with her characteristic laid back attitude. After all... Goldilocks wasn't afraid of no ghost. She tossed the mic over at Lia for her to give her announcement, but then took it back once she was done. The lead performer had always been an inspiration for everyone, that was quite obvious, but some times, Rita liked doings things herself.
"People, listen up! There may be some scary stuff happening all around here, but y'know what? There's no reason to be scared! We'll make sure you're safe and sound, got it?!" Goldilocks struck a pose. Her gauntlets extended, and her eyes flickered to their natural red color. "Like the smell of a rose on a Summer's day, I'm here to take all your fears away! With just the touch of a hand, I'll turn your life to gold!"
"Of course, darling. Hell, Hou-ou's been itching to come out for quite a while now..." She may have said this, but it should be obvious to Lia specifically that there was no way she wanted this to happen. A nice return to the Azores, ruined. "Let's go out there and kick some ass, now!" The blonde dashed towards the outside of the Biggest Top... and was stopped in her trails by the weird angelic yet demonic creature in front of her. Was... this a Shadow? Well, no, it didn't look anything like one, but it felt mighty menacing to her.
"Yare yare dawa..." She didn't need an Evoker anymore. With just a flick of the wrist, a bright blue mist appeared around her. "I absolutely hate getting my hands dirty. Lia, what say we just tear this guy a new one, for everyone's sake, like old times?" Rita pointed a palm at the demon, and her eyes shone red for just a second as Hou-ou appeared behind her. And just for a split second, she frowned and grit her teeth. Was she scared? Well... the only thing that could scare her was Lia being put in danger. But this was very, very disconcerting, even if Rita wished to hide her feelings on it.- Stats:
