| The final obstacle fell. At last, the path to Kazuya's other self has been opened. It had been a long and perilous endeavor, simply attempting to reach this place for all of them, but mostly for Kazuya. ...and now, it was all over. They were soon about to bask in the tainted light of a truly evil being. A creation which is the mirror opposite of that of humans - unable to feel affection towards others. A mere Shadow, a fictious form. But a vicious one nonetheless. Funny, how it was all ending right now. Through this journey, the three of them had conversed about many topics to ease themselves. First of family, then of love... and last, but not least, of the coviction of one's heart to face itsef's darkest depths. The Shadow was a being without family, stripped of love and other human emotions. And it was also the darkness of one's heart that had been spoken about. Truly, one needs tremendous conviction to face oneself, because we are all, in the end, terrified of our own reflections revealing us our true desires... "..." Charles dusted himself off and stood up, staggering a bit. His body weighed heavily on his feet after the last attack. Looking up, he saw Kazuya. Next to himself, he saw Mako. And around them the dreaded labirinth of alleyways. It was time, was it not? The clock was about to strike twelwe and the curtain was about to unveil itself... revealing the monstrosity within. But Kazuya's face was more resolved than ever. He had been waiting for this, waiting to face his Shadow. To face his reflection and end this once and for all. But he wasn't gonna be able to do that without being at his fullest. Charles grinned. "Hey Kazuya, catch this." He said as he threw the vial at the boy. A Snuff Soul. It wasn't like Charles needed it or anything. He wasn't going to use it now nor was he planning on doing it in the future. Besides, Kazuya needed it more than he did. If there was more time, he would have given the third vial he carried to Mako. Unfortunately, there wasn't any time left now. Maybe she had some herself? Or maybe she wouldn't care anyways. She was tough. Charles turned forward and followed after Kazuya, entering the Block alongside the blue haired boy. They were about to put an end to this chapter... - Stuff:
