Hm? What was wrong with him standing? Was Jack actually intimidated to something? That would sure take this to new levels. Ah well, but it didn't matter. ''If that is what you wish.'', he would shrug, walking over to sit. It didn't make much of a difference to him, but if it made Jack feel better, then might as well. He would look at Jack with a raised eyebrow as the younger man spoke. ''Tough love? Besides, it is useful to be aware of both your strenghts and weaknesses. What good does it do when friends only praise you? All it does is inflate ones ego, until one day, they overestimate their abilities and get in big trouble. Sometimes, criticism can be good. And it isn't like I'm only putting you down. You yourself admitted it goes both ways.'' That was a plausible enough explanation, perhaps. Well, he was generally just rather blunt with his words, but this probably held some worth as well. He did respect Jack for who he was, but that didn't mean he would stop finding the overdone heroism and ridiculousness amusing, and poking at it from time to time. If you want to only hear nice words from someone, then get yourself a parrot, that will repeat I love you. Being a friend doesn't bring only the nicer sides with it. Though, most people seem to forget that part. Well, assuming he and Jack were friends. He had never tried to define their current status, to be honest.

He would chuckle. ''You seem to know a lot of things just because. And I have no idea what you're on about. Except that Gran means large in Spanish, but I doubt that is of importance to you.'', he would shake his head. ''I still think you are getting bothered too much. If you can stand up to Thesis and Angels, you can stand up to whatever your mind is suddenly stuck on too. Unless you are becoming a coward.'' In which case, it was mostly Jack's problem to deal with.

"Eheh... I suppose you might be right... Though. I think this force might even control Thesis and the angels themselves, but if that's the case I guess it would mean we just have to take it down to in the end right? Shouldn't be to hard. I mean it just might be the god of the gods so, nothing we can't handle..." Jack would chuckle and pat Sharaku on the back just hard enough to seem friendly."How is it you can always talk some sence into my thick skull? It's a gift I tell ya! AHAHA! If only you could talk me out of the whole Ranger thing, now THAT would be impressive my Fancy Friend!"

Jack would let out a happy sigh and lean back in the bench. Sharaku hadn't talked him down completely though. He knew deep down that the world he was in was not what it seemed. Something was off and he was determined to find out why... Whey did he... Fell so shoe horned in... Like he was in the wrong place. "And don't you worry Sharaku... I don't know the meaning of the word Coward.... Seriously is it like some sort of cheese product?" He would chuckle at his own little joke.

Hm. ''What would be the point of controlling almost everyone? That's just like moving pawns in chess, and it gets boring eventually, because no one really gets to act on their own.'' He wouldn't find that an entertaining past time for very long, to be honest. He would frown a bit at Jack's friendly gesture, shrugging the younger man's hand off. ''Give a warning next time.'', he would roll his eyes slightly. He still wasn't fond of random touches of this kind. That, and he wasn't ever really that buddy with Jack. ''Maybe because you actually listen at times, unlike some other people. Or you're just fairly easy to talk down. But I don't have an intention to talk you out of that. I don't need more insanity in my life than I already have, thank you.'' God forbid he would spend the time convincing Jack to stop doing his Ranger thing. There wasn't anything in if for him anyway, and he would most likely just lose his mind trying.

He would raise an eyebrow at the joke. ''If it is, then it is just about as cheesy as you.'', he would retort back in a deadpan. Not that he even understood why cheese out of all things. But he let it pass by. Sometimes, it was easier to simply not think hard on stuff, and go along. In a way.

"I dun know... Maybe it's a lot of people that each control a person.... or maybe they micromanage or something... Ya know it's hard to have a crackpot theory with you poking holes in it with your fancy logic heh..." Jack would use air quotes around Fancy Logic to emphasize his point. Jack knew Sharaku was a bit of a "personal space" Kinda guy but seriously man... Ya don't have to be so "Anti-Touchy". It's a sign of friendship between two souls bound by the ties of time!... Or something like that.

Jack would chuckle at his comment about him being easy to talk to"Oh? You say it like you have experience with people with even thicker heads then I. Personally, I find that both insulting and hard to believe. I take pride in my stubbornness thank you very much. heh." Jack's eyes once again fell on the rock that had fallen on him from the heavens. He smirked as a devilish thought crossed his mind."Hey Sharaku... How about a gentlemanly wager?"

''Well, unlike you, I prefer to be more realistic with certain matters. I'm not even using logic that much, really. Just common sense. Though, you are free to keep theories in your head. Not stopping you from making them. Just know that I might not agree with you when you say them aloud. That's all.'' Sharaku would shrug vaguely. Frankly, Jack could do whatever he wanted in his free time, but when he brought it up to someone, he should expect some sort of reaction in return. And depending on who the listener is, it might not always be entirely positive.

''Maybe I do.'', he would state matter of factly, shaking his head. Jack sounded crazy at times, but it was decently tolerable so far. Well, after all he's heard already...what wouldn't be? Then again, he didn't know Jack that well yet, so it was still somewhat up in the air. ''You're very much welcome, however.'' Maybe. ''Wager?'', he would furrow his brows. ''Depends on what it is. There are some things I will not do just because.'' He'd rather make sure first, because he had a feeling Jack was capable of pulling something extremely ridiculous.

"Pff, you don't have to be realistic when you're not real. And as I have proven to myself and the puppet master, I am not. So realism goes out the window... Though to be honest realism went out the window the moment I started pulling an ancient Jewish monster out of my head to battle the physical manifestations of negative thought... Just sayen... hehe" Jack would laugh before walking over and picking up the rock. He would give it a mild toss into the air and catch it again before turning back to Sharaku"Here is the bet, if I can muster up proof that my claims of not existing may hold water by the next time we run into one another, then you will join me for a night of Super Heroing as my Violet Ranger. However! If by the next time we cross paths I have no such proof... Well what you want from me is more up to you now isn't it? Hows that sound? A bit of harmless fun eh? hehe"

Right. ''I already said I don't follow your sentiment. If you feel like you're not real, it's your call. But seeing as I don't, I have no reason to not be realistic either.'' Sharaku would shake his head in amusement. ''Besides, people's definitions of reality vary. The only reason people believe that something like a Persona is unreal, is because that's what society says. If it stayed around long enough, it would eventually be considered normal.'' A new occurence is always out of the picture or realism, but that doesn't have to mean it cannot be real. ''And I can tell you this. Things such as Shadows have been around years before you started pulling monsters out of your head. Most people just weren't aware of it. That would mean realism has been out of the window perhaps even for ages by now. Theoretically speaking. Since you didn't even know of the fact that it didn't all begin by showing up here. Just saying.'', he would state nonchalantly. He didn't really have to, but messing around with what Jack was saying was somewhat entertaining. That, and it wasn't as if he was lying.

He would give Jack a somewhat blank look. ''I don't want anything right now. Though, if you want to, feel free to try. A warning, however. Convincing me might just make you grow gray hair early.'', he would shrug. What proof would Jack give him? Existence meant more than just one thing. And he was not inclined to really believe as long as Jack was the only one having his 'feelings'. That meant little in the big picture. He should consider looking if even one other person thinks along his lines.

"I'll take that as a yes heh, don't worry Shar, the suits only chafe for a little bit, you get used to it after about an hour." Jack would laugh and place the rock on the bench and turned to walk off"Thanks for the pep talk Shar. I feel a lot better now." he really did... Whether he liked to admit it or not, Jack really looked up to Sharaku. Though he had never seen the tall stately man in battle, he knew that he was stronger then anything or anyone Jack had ever faced. He just... radiated power and importance. To say Jack wished he was that strong would be the understatement of the century. Though... He was glad that such a powerful person seemed to care about him. Even if it was in his own Sharakuy way.

"I'll catch you later! With proof of our falseness! heh..." Jack would pause for a moment before turning back to face Sharaku"I mean it though... Thanks for always being willing to listen to my baggage... You're a good friend. Later!" Jack would turn to leave again, yet before he could take a single step he would turn back to Sharaku once more"OH! One more thing! Do you ever hear a voice that tells you when you get closer to someone? Or is that just me?"

What? ''Who said anything about wearing your suits? You haven't said that before.'' Sharaku would give Jack a somewhat pointed look. Not far. That's a detail you should mention when you make a deal, not after. It wasn't something he was interested in. Though, he kind of dubted Jack would have anything his size anyway. And he would deal with the problem when it came. If. ''You're certainly welcome, Mr. Unreal.'' Jack had the luck that he wasn't the one to walk out on people, unless they completely pissed him off for some reason. It was more likely that they actually left first.

''I hear a lot of insanity nowadays, so listening to you kind of isn't even harmful anymore.'', he would shrug a little. Sure, Jack and Hyde were somewhat similar, but Jack tended to mostly talk about his own things, while Hyde poked into stuff he shouldn't more often than not, and then got upset over reactions. And the latter was definitely more annoying. He would raise an eyebrow. ''I usually only notice when someone is irritating me to no end...'', he would state matter of factly, as he watched Jack walk off...
