Where is the item worn?: Hands

What does the item do?: These intimidating gloves were often worn by Demon hunters of yore, offering superior protection and affording warriors the opportunity to fight back against their devilish enemies.

This item protects the wearer from the shock of incoming attacks no matter their strength as long as they can block or counter that blow with a melee weapon. To the wearer of this item attacks blocked in this way feel comparable to a weapon strike using their own capabilities and they will receive similar knockback or unbalancing as such. The wearer of this item will also not damage themselves with the shock of their own weapon swings such as breaking their own bones from the force of their blows. This item does not grant any form of superior strength nor does it protect against other forms of physical shock such as damage from falling or being crushed to death by weight.

What does the item look like?: A pair of armored fingerless gauntlets that extend from the hands to just shy of the elbow. They encompass the full arm and the top of the gauntlets are covered in layered non-reflective silver plates.
