Liam couldn't help but to laugh from his friend comment about his strength. ~ I wish! I just have trained. A lot ~ He was still smiling when he got back to his fighting position, signaling for Gabe to attack him again. ~ Now try doing that and I'll give ya a break for now ~

Gabe then nodded his head and adjusted his footing. "Lets give it a go then..." Gabe would say as he gave it one good tap with his sword with a little more force. After that, Gabe would take a knee and breathe out. "This is alot of cardio, i would of actually thought that your exercises had alot to do with lifting weights or using heavy weighted swords. " Gabe would then look up. "Ever think you'll use any of this outside of the dojo?

He defended the blow with a little more difficulty, getting happy with the quickly update in Gabe's little training they were doing. After that he would just use the sword as a support, resting its tip on the ground and laughing a little bit before commenting back to his friend. ~ Nah, I like the lighter and quicker moves. I did some more weightlifting back in the day to get to where I am now, though. ~ The other question did catch him by surprise, making him remember of all the Terrorist things he had gotten into. ~ N-not really, I guess? ~

I ask because i just wonder how practical it is. I mean, we all have a right to defend ourselves right? But it's not like we can carny a gun or anything. I'm just thinking of a perspective of a negative occurrence happening, i would be worried if you didn't have a sturdy wooden stick nearby, you know?" Gabe would laugh passively and look away momentarily. "Though, i supposed that running is always an option if they let you run away, you know? In the same situation, i think we would take two very different actions....i think...i mean, is it not better to run away?

I may not be the best but I can fight for my own, ya? That's why I started with the basic movements with you and not the sword. ~ He said nonchalantly, giving some punches in the air to illustrate his point before laughing a little bit about what he was going to say and the irony that it could bring if Gabe knew about his Terrorist persona and all of that. ~ You shouldn't react, but if I can I will. "You dont have to be the best, i just wouldnt want to be out in a sutiatuion of here a good friend of mine would be my biggest worry. Can you seriously count on me if all i have are, card games and a high risky play style. " Gabe secretly thought of it as a disorder, the whole high stakes gambling. That green haired woman, Gabe still wondered if he was winning or not, or if the game was even still on."Yes Ryu, the emphasis on health. Looking anaesthetic doesn't necessarily mean that you are healthy doing these little things for yourself, it has the greatest reward simply knowing that its for your own benefit and not to show off. i do admire that about you.

~ Don't worry about that. If we get to that point I would protect you. That is what friends do, right? And you would be like, the brains to my brawl so it is okay ~ Liam just punctuated his phrases with some slight sword training, as to not seem so cheesy in what he was saying ~ Thank you. We have to seek what is best for us after all. Oh yeah, what about that risky play style? Do you know some kind of fighting or something? ~ That got his attention when they were discussing over that point and he was always so curious about everything, so it was to no surprise he was asking about it.

"I'm not smart Ryu. I have to admit, i have a level of understanding, that's not necessarily intelligence, or needs to be confused with intelligence. Pair that up with a big set of balls, you could only imagine the trouble i managed to get myself into in my young life. It's not necessarily winning that i want to be good at. Even if my skills can only carry me so far, i want to know...how to ... "not lose..", no matter the situation. " When Ryu asked if Gabe knew some sort of fighting style, the man would laugh. Maybe I need to be more like you in this things... ~ Liam looked distant for a moment, with a smile that was wavering in his lips before focusing again when Lucky Clover was mentioned. ~ I see... So you are a gambler or....? ~ He left it at that. His luck was terrible so he had never risked gambling big money, but his friend seemed to go the other route entirely

There was at least some acknowledgement that there was some things about Ryu that gabe liked, and surprisingly, there were something about Gabe that ryu liked. Nobody can be great at anything. "Well, when i lost my parents at the great divide. I went to the lucky clover casino gamble myself some form of life by winning some currency. I was good.. perhaps too good..caught some bad attention. The owner of the club instead took me in. " Gabe would say promptly. Instead of using those skills to mess with his business, i enriched it by being a spotter for these things... as well as being a dealer myself. But for about a year, i gambled...hard... sometimes..........the only ante i had was my limbs...and...."

It wasn't like that anymore so Gabe moved on. "it's a scary talent... win or lose.. something happens to your mental fortitude.

We make a good team that balances each other out, ya? ~ After a little bit of thought, Liam scratched his head and laughed, clearly embarrassed about what he just said. He made sure to thing a little bit more on his phrases so that they don't sound that cheesy when spoken in his mind before speaking again. ~ ... I see. That must've been hard on ya, huh? But you still are here today and in one piece, so your talent has been serving you well, ya? ~ He smiled, even if in the back of his mind he was still thinking that Gabe dealt with all that happened on the Great Divide much more effectively than him, making him a much stronger person, at least mentally. ~ But yours seem strong, so it all served a purpose I guess. ~

Gabe said to Ryu with a small wink as he did a small stretch. "Well, i'm not done yet, so if you would like to go another round, i'm ready when you are. Gabe held the the kendo stick firmly as he took a basic stance. "I'm sure you wasn't planning on ending your workout here, correct? "

The red-haired smiled back at the wink, slight blushing coming to his cheeks before he nodded. ~ We should. I'll pair up with you anytime! ~ He grabbed his sword with more intent and did some movements with it before smiling and getting into a blocking position. ~ Come at me, then. Remember what I've thought you today and hit me! ~
