| It was a cold day in Nadashiki that the Spirit of Strife set her sights upon her first victim. He was certainly an oddball. He was wearing a hat that looked like the top of a fox's head. It was cute, but nonetheless weird. She wouldn't have initially picked someone such as this boy to be her slave, but he had the potential... She decided to go along with it.
It would be an easy task, no mortal could resist. She would watch over the boy with a devious smile as she felt the apple form in her hands. This wouldn't be an apple of discord, though. This would be an apple of love. The apple would fall down onto the Earth and hit with a fox's bark.
She could tell from the potential what kind of person he was. The potential is a powerful thing. The gods and goddesses of the world could peer into it and see everything that a person has experienced in their lifetime. She saw a particular memory that would deal with a fox named Hana. This would be her key.
The apple would be invisible to the naked eye, but did it's job. The apple created a sound of poor Hana whimpering in pain. This would certainly attract the young boy. Every time he got closer, it would move away, its spell like ability pulling him closer and closer to the door that would be inside of Kizuna Academy. When the boy would reach the door, the effect wouldn't end. It was all over for him before it even began.

| Naoki was walking down the street, on his way home from school and barely in focus, heard part of a whimper. It sounded so eerily similar to him, then it hit him. "Hana!", he managed to whisper loudly, it may had just been that he wasn't focusing back it sounded close yet far at the same time. He chased after the sounds back through the alleys' twists and turns, the veins of the city he trekked though avoiding trouble now chasing after it practically but Hana came first this time. He wasn't about to let anything bad happen to her if he had his say, he thought, as he brought out his flip blade he kept to handle daily things that needed tweaking in his art or tricky knots and if worse came to worse, fights he couldn't handle.
He wonder how Hana managed to move if she was in pain like this, unless.... he wasn't willing to admit it in his head. He couldn't think if anyone else touching his Hana, holding her. He felt sheer rage boil in his blood and ran faster until he arrived at the school. The sound seemed weak now, he could barely track it anymore.
"Dammit!! Hana!! Where are you??!" he yelled, he tried the various noise that could attract a female fox or alert a den to danger, not a single response was made to him. He looked quickly around the school grounds, no longer then a few seconds later he found a strange glow inbetween the space between the school and the large fence that served to let students go towards the back of the school and lake. It seemed surreal amongst the surrounding white and green hills that could be seen outside the school but it seemed this was the strongest point of sound for Hana's whimpering.
He looked around the door, hoping to avoid interacting with supernatural things, until it seems he'd have to enter the door and search for Hana. "If it is him that took Hana, he'd better be prepared for a fight.", he whispered, as he entering the blinding door.

| (Sorry for making this confusing.)
As the boy with the silly hat would enter the door, he would find himself in an arena of sorts. When the boy would cross to the other side, the door would slam and disappear from behind him. The arena looked to be recently built and had quite a crowd within the audience stand. This is where the boy would find himself in her clutches. But it would be far too late once he figured it out.
The stands were filled with rows upon rows of creatures that looked human, but were far from human. They had human shapes, but that was truly the only thing that made them look human. Their eyes were large and white, their bodies all black or gray. They spoke in weird murmurs that didn't even sound human. They bounced up and down in excitement, but even that didn't resemble anything human. It was unsettling and creepy, but it was all a part of the wonderful atmosphere that the Spirit of Strife set up herself.
The fox that the boy was searching desperately for was sitting in the middle of the arena. She was perfectly fine, she was lying down on her side and looking up and yipping excitedly for the boy. She looked like she wanted to be pet, she only wanted the boy to pet her. This would be the trap. The second the boy would touch Hana, who was really the apple in disguise, he would be Eris'. It was only a matter of time before it happened.
