"Alright." The professor seemed to be focused on... something. Something that was not the skies. He wouldn't question the little orange lizard, at least not for now. All that water pouring down on his mechanical body, he could feel it yet it was unlike how he felt when he was fully man. He would describe it as cold, but now he just knew there was water pouring down on his body. He would follow, trying not bump into the professor.

"It seems like he is unconscious, Professor Lumin." The A.I stated, a hint of worry in her voice could be heard.

"We get Lumin to safety first, then i come back to get Crow and his friend."

"Very well, I suppose he is not truly in danger."

Upon entering the school building, James would see countless students crowded around the windows looking out at the falling water. Murmurs of worry and confusion echoed through the halls, some students questioning how it started raining on the inside of the tower, others suggesting that perhaps it was just a leak from the Aqua Biodome that was a few dozen floors up. Some still remained quiet and simply watched the strange phenomenon take place.

"Th-Thank you James. I appreciate your quick action... I should be fine, I just need to go lay down for a spell. We will continue our training another day, though now you and your partner should be linked."

Professor Lumin nodded and began to walk away...

Just as the screaming and pointing began.

The students seemed to be panicked by something happening in the yard that James had just come from...

I never asked for this..." He mumbled under his breath. Lumin was safe and him and the AI were connected. There was a twitching sensation moving through his body, a malfunction perhaps due to the water getting into his systems. With a sigh and a shrug he went back into the yard to pick up Crow and also investigate further as the students seemed unquiet...

"James, this is ill advised."

"Yeah yeah, what-fucking-ever..."

"Shut up.... Shut up... Shut up...”

Upon stepping outside, back into the slowly thickening rain, James would immediately become aware of two things, the first and most obvious was the sudden and deffening lack of any and all sound aside from a distant, low staticy calliope song playing somewhere far off, and the Crow's voice. Second, and quickly becomeing more aparent as he approached, was the streaks of red liquid and tufts of crimson feathers that surrounded where Crow was now crouching.

"Why won't you just shut up..."”

His back turned to James, crow seemed to be working something rather hard, twisting it and pulling at it with his hands. Eventually whatever he was pulling at popped in two. He would look closely at whatever it was for a moment before tossing it over his shoulder and right at Jame's feet.

There on the ground infront of him, was the severed head of a small red bird coated in blood and a small amount of a thick black slime.
