Day After [Kuzi]

Champagne would sigh deeply, leaning into the beach chair with a sigh. He had somehow gotten helplessly drunk last night whilst alone and had found himself passed out on the bathroom floor for some reason. Really, he didn't get it... But getting that intoxicated out of the blue? Was he upset over something? It was hard to tell...

Though, what he could tell was the insane hang over he was currently sporting. He'd have by him his two hangover go-tos, minus the Bloody Mary (no tomatoes), a cup of coffee and some cookies. Coffee always helped to clear the head and cookies? The sweetness helped him relax, oddly enough. With a defeated sigh, he'd take a sip of his bitter drink before squinting up at the sky. Why was the sun so bright after a hang over?

It was such a beautiful day, there were hula girls all around, the sounds of cheering and praise being thrown his way constantly. The sun seemed to directly beam a spot light upon him as everyone cheered his name. Atop a surf board, sailing the great waves that many others before him had so desperately failed, though no match to him whom seemed to need little to no effort to even provide over confident tricks on the mega wave. When his board reached the sand once more, he was instantly surrounded by the hot hula dancers, all of them wanting to fuss over him. Give him attention and hug him. He was in heaven, there was no place better than this.

Kuzi would smile peacefully as he laid on the sandy beach of the Aquatic bio dome. His small tail wishing back and forth happily as he slept and dreamed. He loved coming here to relax, it was never nearly as crowded as it was in the main parts of the city and the sun was so nice and warm here. Let alone the fact the sun made the sand like its own heated blanket for him to lie upon. Evidently, his relaxation had caused him to drift off to sleep relatively close to the water front. Which, as it so happened, was slowly closing in on the sleeping pink fluff as the tide came in.

With another sip of coffee, the beach boy would slowly stand up on wobbly legs. Yeah, that figured... He didn't have much faith in his walking abilities after he got hung over... Did something happen last night? Maybe... Really, he couldn't remember so with another defiant squint up at the sun, he'd go for a little walk off into the short distance. Though, what he saw on his walk... Confused him to say the least.

A pink ball of fluff. Was it a sea urchin or some new kind of fish? With a confused look on his face, he'd approach the ball of fluff and stare down at it, going to gently nudge it with his foot. Was it dead? Maybe... Well, if it was a fish it was about to be set free back into the ocean so... Yeah.

He wasn't sure how long he'd been lying out here, and honestly in his half awoken state after being nudged by some random guys foot he wasn't even aware of where he was anymore, Kuzi would bat out sleepily at the foot that nudged him with one paw whilst yawning. "Noooo... Five more minutes..." The small fluff would mutter as he drifted to and from consciousness. He was still half dreaming as this all happened, the images in his head portraying a cocktail bar tender telling him he had to leave as they were closing with his responding line being the same he'd muttered in reality than to the one he said to the bar keep.

In fact instead of being awoken properly at all by the kick, the small creature would wriggle slightly from where he was lying onto a patch of still warm sand closer to the strangers feet, his head butting against the foot and instinctively cuddling himself up to it before letting out a gentle snore.

That wasn't something he really expected. With a small sigh, he'd bend down and try and pick up the pink ball of fluff and relocate it over to where the ocean wasn't about to eat it whole. He'd sit down next to the fluff, tilting his head with a bit of confusion. It certainly was an odd creature...

"Do you always make a habit of sleeping at the beach? It seems slightly dangerous to do so, you know..." he'd say with a little tilt of his head. He enjoyed the beach a lot but... Taking a nap that close to the sea was a taaaaad risky.

"H-hm...?" Kuzi would jolt awake as he felt someone pick him up, though still dazed from only just waking up he made no attempt at trying to break free from the sudden hold, feeling no urgency to since whoever it was that was carrying him wasn't being rough with him or anything. When he was placed back onto the sand, the pink fluff would stretch out his legs and extend his tiny wings as far as they'd go with a quiet, high pitched yawn.

Afterwards, he'd shake his head to try to properly wake himself up before taking a quick look around to see where he was, remembering after a few moments that he had come down to the aquatic bio dome that day. Huh, he must've fallen asleep. "The sand is just so warm and comfortable to lie on, I must've just drifted off." The pink fluff would reply, tilting his head up to look at the guy who'd carried him for the first time, a toothy grin accompanying his response. "It's just really relaxing, you should know, right?" Kuzi would continue in his high pitch tone, noticing that the guy was wearing no shirt and was clearly dressed for the beach and making the assumption that he must come here a lot. Peering over, Kuzi would notice the small patch of sunken sand and the end of the guys foot print over here get suddenly swept away from the in coming tide. "O-oh, I see what you mean now. Eheh. Thanks a lot for picking me up when ya did before that happened! I owe you one! Names Kuzimahara Kuteena, but most people call me Kuzi for short. What's your name valiant savior?" The small creature would ask, sitting down and holding out one paw to give the guy a sort of hand shake.
