Hmm. I guess I have to go and get the mail from the post office. *Sigh* Sometimes daily chores can be a drag, but at least they help distract me for a little while from the more weightier issues currently affecting my life. I mean, I don't really need or have the time to think of being a state terrorist in secrecy when getting the mail. I can be an ordinary person for this amount of time, right? But anyway, if I remember, the route to the office is through this area. ...Well, I just hope that I don't get lost.

Zaku was walking around the Sunlake palms area, making her deliveries to her customers, dropping off costumes for cosplaying, fixing dresses and other sewing work, reforging knives and gardening tools. she always made sure it was far cheaper then them having to by new ones, and the work was always rather easy. So for the time being she was making her rounds, and was currently heading to the post office to drop off a few things for them to put int he mail boxes there, her little cowlick bobbing about happily as she walked and made sure she had the packages ready.

She was wearing her massive metal backpack, and her clothing was her usual baggy and body hiding attire, her glasses placed carefully on her face as she wandered the street towards the office her cowlick looking about as if enjoying the scenery.

Ah, here's the post office. Now, what was the number box I'm supposed to open again? Hmm. Wait a minute.... that enormous cowlick.... I've seen that before.... I look and there is Zaku-sensei. It looks like she's carrying...... what the actual hell!? Is that backpack made of metal!? It seems like she's wearing baggy clothes and glasses. Is she more comfortable in that sort of clothing? Anyway, I think that it would be a good chance to talk to her. "Hello again Zaku-sensei." I say greeting her after walking up to her. I hope that she recognizes me, even though I only met her once and for a somewhat brief training session.

Zaku was busy checking in the deliveries she had to the main desk, she hadn't even noticed Tatsui walk in, after all she had to fill out some paper work since some of the things looked like weapons, and the ones that were not where rather large. She finished the work just and handed it to the man just as Tatsui walked up to her and greeted her, and she let out probably the most adorable Meep sound ever as she hopped up a bit in surprise, her Cowlick snapping to attention like it to was surprised as well, and she turned to look at Tatsui well...not really look at, she kind of avoided eye contact, more looking at the floor or something else rather then Tatsui.

"Oh....h....h...he..hello T...Tatsui...Z...zak......Zaku didn't s....se.....see you there...Zaku" she stammered out as her cowlick seemingly moved towards Tatsui and sniffed at him as if checking to see if he was indeed who she said she thought he was, and after a few moments it seemed to nod to itself and go back to simply hovering there over it's owner.

It looks like she completely didn't notice me when I entered. ...what's with that meep she just made? And she even hopped? Was she that surprised to see me? Even the cowlick looks surprised. She's turning around and.... avoiding eye contact... I mean, I am quite taller than her, but seriously, it's kinda obvious that she is avoiding looking at me. ??? Why is she stammering all of a sudden? That definently was nothing like how she was acting back at the dojo. "Yeah, I guess you didn't." I say with a frown on my face. What's going on to make her so nervous? And the cowlick is also checking me. Seriously, one of these days I need to ask her about that cowlick of hers, because it looks either completely normal to her or she's completely oblivious about it. "So, how are things going at the dojo currently? Any other recruits?" I say asking about the state and affairs of her dojo that I just recently joined. It would be nice to train with other people. A bit of that comraderie in being fellow disciples and whatnot.

She nodded a bit as Tatsui confirmed her statement and she continued to fidget a bit as she stood with him in that slightly awkward silence, her cowlick meanwhile was looking at the list she had and seemed to be making sure she had everything, nodding a bit to itself as it seemed satisfied with the check before resuming looking at Tatsui, as if it was keeping eye contact with him now since Zaku herself wasn't.

As he asked his question Though Zaku thought on the answer a bit, She hadn't gotten anyone new since Tatsui, her Dojo was rather out of the way, though she had offered it as a place for the school fencing club to practice and meet so she decided to let him know that since he might see them there at some point "Oh, Z...Z...Zaku...h..hasn't..g...gotten..a...anyone new....b..but..s...she...she is letting...t..the Fencing club..f..f.rom school....u..use her Dojo for..m...meetings....f..for now...Zaku" she informed him as she looked at her list and was checking things off it that she had just delivered, though she was holding it as if she was trying to hide behind it.

Wow, she's fidgeting, she really must be nervous. ....cue the awkward silence. Wait, is her cowlick checking her list? Now it's looking back at me... seriously, how can it do that? It has no eyes! It looks like she is pondering my question concerning the dojo's state. "Oh, well that's a shame. Wait, the fencing club is using your dojo for meetings?" How odd. To think that a club from school would use a newly opened dojo to host their meets. I guess that might be a way to earn some extra patronage... Ok, that's it, now she's trying to hide behind her list. I have to talk to her. "Hey, you seem nervous, is anything wrong?" I say to her with concern. If she really does have a problem, I hope she can tell me what's going on.

Zaku continued to look at the list and finished checking off the delivers for the post office, there were a few she was supposed to deliver by hand and those where all in this area for the moment, the others she had were meant for the East Eden area, a long way from here but at least she was being payed well for all her work. But going back to the matter at hand she meeped as Tatsui asked his question about if something was wrong and she shook her head rapidly "n...n..n..n.n.n.n.nnn.n.nn.n.nNo!....Z..Zaku is okayw...w...w.w.w.w.w.why do you ask? Zaku?" she asked as she seemed to stand there shaking a bit, the list still in front of her as she was clearying writing on the clipboard.

Her cowlick meanwhile looked at tatsui then seemed to look to the door, then it seemed to be tugging Zaku towards the door, each little tug making Zaku scoot over just a bit as she continued to write "Z...z...Zzzz.z.z.z.z.z.Zaku ha...has a lot of w..w.w.w.w.w.w.work..t......to..to.....to deliver...o...OH W..what ..i....is....t.t.t..tt..Tatsui doing here? Zaku?" she asked hoping to take the focus off her as she also correted a few things on the list as she also started to check the invoices.

It looks like Zaku has quite the list to finish up for deliveries. Why did she just meep? Was that in response to my question? ....That stutter became extreme. Is she just nervous in public? Is that it? Also shoot, I shouldn't have called it out. Sometimes if you point out something along the lines of stagefright, they get even more scared. "I'm sorry, I only asked because I care." I say still concerned about her. What happened to her to make her like this? Also, this behavior is in stark contrast to her in the dojo.... maybe she really got into the role of a teacher of the martial arts? Like, confidence when your handling something you have experience in? I don't know. All I can do is conjecture until I actually find it out from her. Wow, it looks like she is even shaking somewhat. Hmm? Her cowlick is tugging her towards the door... and she's scooting with each tug. "Oh shoot, that's right. I was supposed to get some mail from here. Eh, I guess I can do it in a bit." I say casually. There isn't really any difference in getting mail now or a few minutes from now.

Zaku continued to stand there her face turning a bright red as Tatsui said he only asked because he cared, "I.....i...it's okay...d..don't worry...j...just know th...that Zaku is Okay! Zaku" she said still hiding behind her list as she fumbled with the pencil as she worked on the route she would be going on to deliver all the packages she still had to deliver though her cowlick was still trying to tug her towards the door, making her scoot a bit more every now and again. She did need to make deliveries after all, though she wasn't on any time limit, she told all her customers she would deliver them today, if they were not home she already had plans to leave it in their mail slot or at a neighbors by their request.

However as Tatsui mentioned he had to check his mail to she peeked over the top of her clipboard at him, still kinda hiding behind it "O....o..oh.....z....Zaku is...s...sorry i...if she is t...taking up..y..your time...Zaku" she said as she looked at him, a bit worried she was now waylaying Tatsui from the work he was supposed to be doing, or any plans he had for later just from taking up his time.

"If you're sure." I respond to Zaku in a tone of doubt. Wow, she's even fumbling with her pencil now. Her cowlick is still trying to scoot her out..... does it express what she is feeling? Does she want to get out? .......*Sigh* I know it's probably because of her nerves but it still hurts somewhat. Hmm? she's peeking at me now in response to what I said. "No, no, not at all. I don't really need to get the mail right now, and it's pleasant being able to converse with you." I respond sincerely. Wow, she really is insecure about other people. I... really hope that she can make some progress with that sometime.

Zaku looked down at her clipboard and the path she would be taking to deliver the packages that were in the large safe like backpack she had, and then back up at Tatsui as he mentioned he found it pleasant talking to her, and she blushed a bit as her cowlick seemed to stop trying to escape and sat there in a question mark shape as she looked at Tatsui from over the top of her clipboard "O...oh...t..thank you...z...Zaku d...doesn't..m...mind t...talking e...ether...b..but sh...she was worried that..s...she was st...stopping you from d..doing wh..what you wanted to do. Zaku" she said still seemingly worried she was stopping him from doing what he wanted to do.

Her cowlick meanwhile leaned back over to Tatsui and started to make that sniffing motion as if once again checking to see if he was safe, or if he was in anyway dangerous, after a bit if that sniffing it seemed to make up it's mind and nodded a bit as it returned to it's normal position above it's owners head and Zaku seemed to relax a little as she looked at him "Umm..i...w...what el...else i...is T...Tatsui h...here for? Zaku?" she asked trying to make small talk now.
