Everyone was being let in to become a Cadet weren't they? First it was a tiny group of nobodies, then an older single mom, and now it's a new adult that's apparently an unknown idol? Alex Tenth sighed heavily in a large empty classroom as no one returned his sigh. It was just one job after another. Julius Lamecia looked to his side to see the young exasperated boy.

"If you're bothered so much, you can go for the night. I'm not certain if she'll be the last one, but surely there won't be too much else." Alex seemed to light up at the suggestion, but shook his head. "No way. If that person turns out to be a wimp, I have to be there to make sure she doesn't die now." He crossed his arms and turned the other way. It's not like Julius would actually help, even though he totally should be. But nooo, he has to do the work. They merely stood there in silence in wait for the next candidate, as a single goblet stood on a nearby table, filled with a very strange liquid. It looked red, but it was no wine; it was too think and coarse. It was like blood...

Shiina checked her pocket watch over and over as she moved through the darkened halls of the school. She hadn't seen anyone go out or come in when she arrived, but something told her she wasn't the first one to set her feet here. Was she nervous? Very much so. This was a once-in-a-lifetime event, and it would surely be the most important one of all to her. The first step in her goals. The first step in her life.

As she entered, the Tsurinai spoke up to make her presence known, then took a short but long bow. The glance she took at the two males had her recognize them perfectly, or, at least one of them. She was unsure if the younger boy had been in the meeting during the morning, but the older man, Julius, was someone no-one couldn't recognize.

//"Good evening. I apologize for my tardiness, I hope I didn't keep you waiting too long."// She looked calm on the outside, but her heart was still beating out of her chest. Nevertheless, she had to do this... It was the only thing she could do.

Julius nodded. "You may rise. Your tardiness will not matter for the moment," he said, adjusting his glasses with a finger. The younger stayed silent for the most part, though one could see him noticeably scoff at the girl. This was the next Cadet? She was supposed to be trying to become an idol? What has the world come to with this? Julius meanwhile grabbed the strange goblet and held it firm in his hands, not spilling a drop. He looked upon Shiina and thoughtfully nodded once more. "Just as I am here for my reasons, I wish to know yours. You will say your name, and explain to me however you will why you wish to join the Cadets." He spoke without bias and with a blunt tone. He wanted to know why, and only why. Did the girl have what it took given who she was, or was she someone ready to get cold feet at the last minute? Only time could tell.

//"Yes, sir."// She dutifully obeyed and straightened her posture perfectly. Naturally, she paid no mind to the scoffing; whether someone doubted her or not didn't matter to her. She wouldn't change her conviction because of a single person's opinion. However, what did cause her a blank in her mind was the question posed to her. Her reasons?

//"My name is Shiina Kyoko Tsurinai. I have come today to become a Cadet because..."// Shiina's eyes looked straight into Julius. //"Because I want to change this city of ours for the better, to keep it safe and sound... to make sure everyone can be free of worries, both from demons and terrorists."// It was a simple reason: to make everyone happy. That's why she became an idol and why she was here now. There was no other reason for her to become a Cadet.

Julius nodded once more. "Admirable, but unbelievably standard of a reason. Nonetheless, it is a reason all the same, and it is reason enough to bring you here," he said, now holding out the goblet to Shiina. "Swear fealty to our Queen, Isla Lamecia, and drink of her being through this goblet. It will awaken your latent strength in order to protect this city." Should Shiina take it, she'd fine that there was no mistake; the liquid was definitely blood. The way Julius said, did that mean this blood belonged to the Queen? How in the world would her blood unleash your "latent strength" as he put it? He nodded to Alex, and he would turn towards another nearby door in the classroom, and open it just enough to peak inside. He looked strangely confused and tried to peer deeper. While that was going on, he would look to Shiina and see if she would drink. The only way to become stronger as it were according to him would be to comply to his order. Was it a wise order perhaps? One could not say for sure...

//"I need not more of a reason than the love for my home."// She was truthful, and most of all, she was loyal. However, Shiina would only take the goblet after Julius was done speaking, as she nodded slowly in understanding.

//"My loyalty is to Endymion and our Queen. I swear on the Tsurinai Family name that this loyalty will not waver for a second."// Violation of this promise would not only bring dishonor upon her, but would also shake the trust and power her family had built up over the years. Even if she wasn't the heir to the house, she was still its representative in Endymion...

And with that said, Shiina took a few seconds to eye the goblet. There was no mistaking it, and a certain part of her was being repulsed from the sight... but she had no reason to refuse. She was willing to go through anything for her ends. Shiina took the goblet with both hands and brought it to her lips without any further hesitation, and would continue to take in the liquid either until told to stop, or until it was exhausted.

Right as she began to drink, out of the corner of her eyes was a glimpse of something; a black butterfly perhaps? No matter, for as she drank, she would find pleasure in the taste, only as it went down her throat, there would be anything but pleasure involved. A sharp pain clutched at her throat as her ability to breathe was being challenged, to the point where she could hardly gasp. Not only that, but she could feel her skin begin to crack, and peel off of her face, like layers upon layers of what she was was being torn from her. She could feel the sensation over one of her eyes, where a hole now stood, as something foul and demonic was being controlled and forced under control. They could see a strange new world in its place, as the blood mixed with her own, and gave her the view of things that went bump in the night. A voice began to whisper in her mind, and soon silence itself along with the pain she felt. Were she to touch her eye, it would still be there as if completely untouched. But with it came something new, a power that now lurked within her.

Julius smiled. "Excellent, I take it you are more than well now? Soon we ca-" Alex suddenly shut the door and came running back to the group, with a mixture of anger and panic written on his face. "The......the demon!" he breathed heavily as if he had just ran a mile. Julius looked at him. "What happened?" "It's gone! The practice demon just up and left...!" Julius frowned, and looked around the room. Where could it have gone? As is on cue, the edges of the room began to turn pink and squishy, much like flesh and organs as it slowly began to build. Even more eerily, the flesh began to move towards a point in the room, as it began to form a body; though it was not yet done. Julius turned to Shiina. "If you have your power, this will be the time to use it. Think of it as a test. Good luck. Alex, be there for her if need be." Alex said no words and stepped near the lady. "Hurry up lady! I'm not gonna wait on you!"

For a moment, Shiina's body seized as the pain coursed down her throat. One of her hands instinctively went to her eye as the other grasped the goblet tight, as it was the only thing she could reach without effort. The Tsurinai grit her teeth as the new sensations invaded her mind, and a certain kind of power sparked in her. A power that she... strangely, didn't feel entirely against having. As invasive as it was, she welcomed it... it was a power she needed. She heard the calling, and understood the situation. A small frown crossed her face.

//"At your command..."//

The summoning went quickly, the process already completed when Julius gave his order. The Persona released a fine red mist as she stood up behind Shiina, her deep, glowing red eyes peering out from behind the mask. Jinguu-Tennou looked around before fixing her gaze on the mass gathering at the point in the classroom.

As the fleshy mounds began to form a hill, it began to rise from the ground into the air. The flesh folded thousands of times over itself until it was sphere-like. Soon however, faces would begin emerging from the fleshy orb, as well as ugly appendages. Alex smirked and clasped his hands together. Time for another rumble.

She wouldn't, however, be relying on that experience for this fight. If she couldn't prove herself and only let him do all the work, that would be a disgrace. No, she intended on them fighting together.
