| "Pfft, demons don't take souls, silly!" Jack chuckled at the "idol in training"'s words. He was pretty damn sure what took souls were monsters like the Unknown woman who only wore the skin of a human. In reality, people like her were the real demons. But Jack opted not to talk about that. Instead he would turn and approach Shiina. Giving a smug grin and patting her shoulder, he'd give a thumbs up. "If you need anyone to help plan an event for you, I'm your guy! It's my job, after all! Just promise not to lose your soul if you make it big, alright?" He gave a snicker, obviously playing to a certain degree. But it did make him wonder if demons maybe did take souls. And if they did, what did they do with them? Jack knew first hand that demons would eat a person but taking their souls seemed like a whole nother jump.
"You're funny, though! Let's be friends so I can possibly smooch off your fame in the future and get all the treats I want. In return I'll.. uh.. Stop calling your friend Vampirella! ... even though I really want too." Jack muttered the last words as he raised his hand to shake Shiina's if she agreed on this friendship forged on Jack wanting to never work a day in his life in the future. I mean, ever since he was a child he just wanted to lock himself in his room and be a neet. But that didn't work out too well since you did need money to support yourself and all the luck in the world didn't land you a huge lump sum outta nowhere.
Well if he had locked himself in his room for days on end he wouldn't have met this silver haired idol in training and her huge coffin wielding friend, would he?

| An exchange of gratitude was all it took for Maria to get the cart off her hands. But she had to be sympathetic for the guy since he was giving some odd look back in Jack's direction. It honestly wouldn't be a stretch if that odd guy had something to do with it, but she didn't bother to ask the cart owner how and why. It seemed like a sure way to get a headache. With the cart dealt with, Maria headed back to Shiina and Jack. "I'm not sure to think of you as brash, crass, or just... slow," Maria sighed upon returning as she shook her head at him, "You would think it would be nicer to call people you just met by their preferred name and not nicknames like 'vampirella'." Really. She honestly can't decide which of the three that he was. But he seemed so overbearingly cheery in his own way while saying such rude and weird things. He really had a few screws loose. Maria looked back sympathetically at Shiina. It sounded like he wasn't going away in a long while. "You can call me that if you want, just... not around people, alright?" she supplied Jack with great reluctance, "I really don't want it to stick." | |

| She blinked a few times, slightly confused.
//"Oh, they don't? That's weird, all anime I've watched usually goes that route..."// Shiina pouted slightly and crossed her arms. //"Though, well, I guess that's fine. I did need someone to help me with that and all."// Then, she chuckled and shrugged. If he was indeed willing to help, the right thing for Shiina to do wouldn't be to refuse, after all. Her mother always said it's polite to accept gifts given to you, even if you don't think yourself deserving.//"Yuujin, haatsu?"// Before Shiina could really accept or deny Jack's proposal, Maria came along and... well, it really just made the Tsurinai deadpan at her for a few seconds before she sighed.
//"I was about to take that shot for you, though..."// She rested her forehead on her hand and silently, slowly shook her head. //"Regardless, though. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't interested. Maybe if we're friends, we can see past the brash and the crass, as Maria put it. I'm sure you're really a nice guy anyway."// Shiina lifted her head while saying this, then smiled, though she kept her arms crossed over her chest. Maybe this'd be fun after all.

| "How bout all three?" Jack responded to the crass comment with a goofy smile. He played the fool though he wasn't really bright to begin with. It was more so nothing really got him down and he rolled with the punches of life. You couldn't trick everyone into liking you, right? Though, she had a point. It would be nicer to call her by her preferred name instead of the even cooler name of Vampirella. The Valentina would shrug his shoulders and give an innocent smile instead of a comment.
"I can be nice once I know people for some time, ya know? Though, we can all have a partnership! I can arrange your events, you can do the idol work, and Vam- err Maria can be your bodyguard. It'd be perfect!" Jack did a sort of jig at the idea before his cellphone began to ring. He looked at the caller ID and the name his round eyes sparkled. "Huhh? I gotta go! It was a pleasure to meet you both!"
With one final salute, he turned and dashed off.

| Maria blinked at him and just couldn't make heads or tails out of this. Perhaps he was just all three as he says, but at the same time he wasn't serious about anything at all. Or so she thought. Her face scrunched in displeasure at the plans that this guy had, but before she could even voice it, he already left the place for whatever his cellphone call took him. The girl sighed and looked back at Shiina. "...Yeah. Sorry. Well, it looks like this is a great start to a morning, don't you think? Either way, I have some business elsewhere to take care of. Let's meet again later, Shiina. I'll see you later." With that, she waved and then left the area to head on towards Orishiki dojo. [Exit] | |

| Shiina blinked a few times. A trio? Well, that would be pretty amusing, at least... even if she couldn't see Maria as a bodyguard--- nor did Shiina need one. Thankfully for her, she still had combat training, as a Tsurinai, so even as an idol, bodyguards were... minimally required.
//"Ah, you're.. already going?"// The Tsurinai scratched her head and raised an eyebrow as she saw the strange man dash off. Well... he was certainly amusing. //"That was, um... something."// She flipped around to glance at Maria, and her frown got a bit deeper when the girl said she had to go as well. While Shiina wasn't really quite keen on them leaving yet, she supposed it'd be rude to try and stop them... or rather, it was impossible to stop the man now, rude to try to stop Maria.
//"Oh, well, if you have things to do, I shouldn't keep you. Have a nice day, Maria."// The silver-haired maiden forced a soft smile and waved at her friend to see her off, then sighed softly. She pouted for a few seconds... until she remembered her bag, which was still sitting in the mud. In a panic, the Tsurinai ran up to it and picked it up, then took the time to glance at her phone's clock.
//"...sh-shit, I'm gonna be late for school!"// It was still really early, but knowing what she still had to do... well, the Tsurinai ran off in a different direction than the other two.
