Don't worry, we can talk after we save the world... By the way... You wouldn't happen to have a pet cat named Goldar would you?" Jack would chuckle at his little joke as they marched through the fog. As soon as the being came into sight... Jack could feel the bile rising in his throught... Dear god... what was it!? It looked like it crawled out of the Dark Master's bung hole! "Ugh.... that thing is NOT TV-Y12.... Even by Mystic Force standards..."Jack glared at the ever changing, churning mass of primordial hate that stood before him and smirked... Oh yeah... This was gunna be a show stopper. He felt the power in his morpher spike as he summoned AkibaRed's Tarot Card "Alright you big pile of puss! You better get ready!" Jack struck his pose and slammed the card into his morpher "Protecting the world from the shadows that plague it at every turn! We brave hero's fight for the souls within! With the Strength of a Chariot! True Self Sentai! Personanger..... RED!" As AkibaRed exploded into existence behind him. Jack focused his energy and pumped it through his Prime Persona. "Alright! | It was feeling pretty ominous and claustrophobic with the smoke in the air. It didn't do all so well for Joshua's nerves. It never did and never has. It just kept building up more fear along the way. The feeling that the black sludge under their feet made him feel like squirming at the sensation. But continuing to walk seemed to help a bit. Though the wetness of the substance caused him to cringe. He really didn't want to be in contact with this stuff, but not like anything could be done about it. But Simon just had to say it. Joshua looked up to see what he meant and his heart plummeted and his jaw fell. A mixture of horror and revulsion was obvious. Everything about him was screaming, "NOPE. NOPE. NOPE. NOPE. NOPE. NOPE. NOPE. NOT TODAY, CAP'N!"It was too horrible to look at. It was far beyond the ken of mortal men. Yet, they must fight it. Rinna's voice let him keep some of his nerve. If only barely. He felt all so vulnerable and Joshua couldn't be sure if his allies were feeling the same thing. If they did, they never showed it or he was too scared to even notice. Regardless, they must now fight. "Welp. I've seen enough hentai to know where this shit is going," Joshua remarked uneasily with an equally nervous grin, "Y'think this thing might do well in the tentacle porn industry?"For a tomorrow to come, they must walk forward bravely while looking at their likely demise straight in their face. | Of course Jack would ignore him full on. Why was he even trying anyway? Some people simply had selective hearing whenever they felt like it. It was extra annoying, however. Might as well just focus on whatever was going on. No one was saying anything too important still, and Jack's speeches did not count as worth saying anything to. Not really.
Well, this thing didn't bother to even look welcoming. What exactly happened here? It looked more like some mythical creature laid an egg there more than anything else. Assuming this was already the hatchling, since it didn't...resemble an egg anymore. How fun.

| After the attacks, the ??? seemed to pulsate, before throwing some of its tentacles at Simon, then back at the rest of the enemies in retaliation. It sapped its strength to use, but it was sure that it would do heavy damage. Simon looked strangely at it, for regardless, it looked it had the same ferocity as his own power. What did that mean?- ???:

| What the hell...?! Rita doubled over as Simon's attack was sapped and thrown back at her. Was this what this thing did? Fuck... fuck! No, they couldn't, they couldn't take it down this way! This wasn't a normal Shadow, she couldn't break through it with sheer force, why didn't he get the memo?! "Fuck... fuckfuckfuckfuckfuck!" The silvernette knelt on the ground, gritting her teeth, before looking back at Lia, on the ground but still conscious. Dammit... she couldn't protect her. She couldn't protect them.
"Simon! What the hell were you thinking?!" She screamed out, anger apparent on her face, a kind of anger she would only feel towards those who threatened her and her friends' lives. "Didn't you get the memo?! This fucker isn't a normal Shadow! Don't go around pounding on it like it's a God damned boxing bag!" The silvernette regained her footing, standing up while not letting her fear take over. She was determined to finish this, and so ran to Sharaku's side, picking him up by the shoulder as Nero appeared behind her, sending a wave of golden light at everyone who was still conscious, including Lia, and healing them of most of their wounds.
"Fuck... we can't speed up, this fight is one that we HAVE to take slow..." If Sharaku could already stand up by himself, she'd let go, and move towards Lia once more. "I can't give up... I'll make sure this thing is beaten. Do you hear me, you monster bitch?! I'll make sure you regret your decisions just now! I'll make you suffer!" Her eyes were burning, tears appearing from their corners as she didn't let them fall. Rita's spirit itself was on fire... her resolve solid. She would defeat this thing, even if she stood alone. Even if all others fell, she'd stand up again and again... just to kill it... "These islands are my home... my friends' home, my family's home. I'll keep rising to defend them, again and again, until the end of time, if I must. You think I'm about to let you just hurt them like you did?!"

| Empowered by the might of his super mode, Jack nimbly dodged under the swinging black vine, only to be blind sided by a second one, "Tch," With out missing a beat Jack reach out and caught the attack as it approached. "Nice try Hentai Face! But you're gunna need a lot more then that to stop me!" However... his comrades weren't so lucky... they all seemed to be knocked off their feet or worse... "Kazuya! Start helping up the wounded! I'll handle bug breath over here..." Jack grit his teeth and turned to Akiba Red "AkibaRed! I think Rita might be on to something! We can't afford to hit it with everything we've got right now! So I'm switching you out with Megazord!""Tch! Fine Jack-San! I will trust you!" AkibaRed sighed as he burst into red shards that quickly reformed in Jack's morpher as Megazord's Tarot card for a moment before shattering again.  "Red Ranger! I am ready!" Jack's grip on the tentacle tightened as he charged Megazord with power. "Well... I bet the one thing you didn't count on... WAS A TEAM OF POWER RANGERS! NOW MEGAZORD! DYNAMIC PUNISHER!''- Stats:

| "Aw. Shit."Those were his words before being smacked by the monstrosity's tentacles. He was already blackened out. Joshua was almost for sure that he was dead. Ananke was out of luck, but here? Yeah, he's dead. At least until he found himself waking up. And surprisingly... that kid with blue hair helped him. Well at least he's being a bit of a team player for once. Though he was an utter asshole for stealing his line. So Joshua isn't really going to vocally thank him. Not that he has time to do that right now. Looking around, he saw Blaez was pretty much out of it. Joshua dug into his pockets and then threw an item at him to use in order to have him back in the fight. Joshua:- Action:
Using 1x Revival Bead on Blaez. He know has 50% health. Sharaku shall heal the rest.

| Tsk. This thing was apparently smart. Which wasn't even entirely unexpected. Sharaku never thought the fight would be any easy. And he was generally fine regardless. The only problem was being knocked over, but the damage itself bothered him little. He knew his capabilities well enough by now, and sometimes he was actually better off after being hit. Sadly, that couldn't be said for most other people. Frankly, at the moment, Rita's yelling was annoying him more than the enemy. She could use a dose of calm sometimes.
Though, he would let her pull him up, getting on his feet with a faint growl. ''....'' To be honest, going down and up with health was more of a pain than anything else, mainly when he got shoved as low as that. But it's not like he could stop her from healing everyone. From a quick look around several people needed it. ''Ugh, Rita, if all you're gonna do is curse and yell you can as well SHUT UP. Becuase you'll bust my eardrums sooner than this thing will kill me. Don't get all pissy just because we got hit hard. It's not like we can't handle it somehow.''
Sure, two people having been knocked out was a bit of a problem, but they could get them back up. Plus, they could just be more careful now. He saw no need to lose shit like that. In all honesty, he was more easily annoyed by people's actions and attitudes than by a fight being dangerous. Supernatural stuff and battling was less unnerving in the end. ''Plus, who are you blaming? We didn't actually agree on any strategy before we began. No one said a thing aside from 'Let's go in and kick butt.' Now you expect Simon to have followed what? A tactic we never even mentioned? It's just luck that most of us decided to not go all out at first. I don't see a reason for you to get on his ass for it. It wasn't very wise to attack like that, that's true. But don't get pissy over something that was never agreed on.'' She wasn't really being fair with her anger outburst. So what if it wasn't a normal Shadow? They couldn't have known that it would do exactly this. Perhaps Simon just wanted to finish it as fast as possible so it wouldn't hurt them all too much. Bad idea? Maybe, but this was the first time he himself ever saw an enemy that copied an attack and threw it back like this. They couldn't have known beforehand. Sure...there were some that 'reflected' an attack...but in those cases, only the person who used the attack got hurt. This was different. It literally made a copycat move.
He would just roll his eyes at Jack talking about a power ranger team, as if they were all exactly that, but not comment this time. He didn't have the mental strength to deal with that as well now. He was rather irritated in general due to being pushed around like that by both the attacks, heals and useless yelling. He was going to get a headache at this rate. And he could be pretty passive agressive when unbalanced so much. Although, he would do his best to stay calm, regardless of his sharp words. What he did wasn't anger like in Rita's case. Simply a bit of irritation mixed with displeasure at the situation. That, and the fact that he didn't want bullshit happening just because. ''I suppose the point is that we need to be careful and organize better. Now, enough with yelling and pointless speeches. We should focus on finding a good strategy.'', he would state eventually in an even tone, taking the moment to just heal up everyone completely. | Of course the outburst caused a miniature panic attack. Well ,what else was he supposed to do? While everyone was preparing, he could go in to test the waters. How was he supposed to know what would happen? Still, he was rather frit half to death by the woman, and was in too much of a panic to do anything.
