This is a general discussion thread to discuss what our plans are for each turn and also suggestions.

Guys, I think you should pull out all your buffs and debuffs this turn. Jack should continue with the Kill Rush so I'm hoping to have Kazuya use Matarukaja, Sharaku his Sukunda HS and Blaez should refresh our Masukukaja. Those are my suggestions for this turn, feel free to tell me what you think of them. I already took the chance to debuff the thing's defense and attack, so hopefully, it'll start dealing pitiful damage.

Joshua and Rinna: Both guard. (Rinna using Agidyne next turn)

So yeah we're focusing mostly on buffs this turn.

Can do. At the very least, it can't screw us over when it's debuffed to all hell.

I think i've figured out something with the boss. It DOES COPY ATTACKS, ONLY ATTACKS. As you can see from the second turn, Sharaku was the last one to use a skill and it's Mediarama, a healing skill. On the next turn, the thing used Jack's Kill Rush and the damage is 120(Jack's Ppstr). Maybe the reason why his damage stats are ??? Because it also copies that Pmstr/Ppstr/Dx of the copied skill's owner. So be careful when attacking guys. In order not to cause trouble, do not use AoE attacks.

Well, we already knew that Kaz. That is why only Jack attacked last turn, and why he used a single target, so that we wouldn't all get hit by something very powerful. However, there is no proof yet that it only copies attacks. There is a chance that it picks the most effective move used on it last turn. So if no one uses an attack, it could perhaps copy something else we do. We can't say completely for sure yet. For all we know, it can have other gimmicks than just grabbing the last used attack etc. Since for stuff like buffs and ailments, you don't use stats...therefore one can only indicate attack power numbers by ???'s. It may not be all it has.

We're using Buffs/Debuffs now to be careful and see any other things it can do : P

How I saw what Kaz was doing

Joking aside, it's still too early to tell what it REALLY can do. And as I said before, I'm guessing it's "learning" the attacks for its second form. But we don't know if it has one or just.... something. We just continue on with some amount of caution and careful initiative and we should be alright. We've already adapted to a pretty bad situation anyway.

Anyway, as I understand it the current plan is for me to punch it to death with my Kill rushes. So far that plan seems to be working.we're doing chip damage to it but keeping it form exploding at us.

Thanks for catching that. Fixed.

Possibly damaging the most is what determines what it uses for an attacking skill.

Tarunda possibly because it's more offensive oriented compared to the other buffs and debuffs.

Those are my thoughts for it for now. Share yours as well.

Could be...but then there's the question of how it decided between a debuff and attack. Since if the first option applies, it should have used Kill Rush again, because we did give it an attack.

Unless....this thing is like...(those who know Pokemon terms - what the move Torment does) Aka, can't use the same move twice in a row. Which could possibly explain why it went for the best possible debuff instead of grabbing the Kill Rush again.

Just a random speculation tho.

If that's the case, then I want to test something out. I'd like to suggest everyone, but Jack, guards. We have Jack try to use Kill Rush and then see if it'll pick that up again.

Even if we guard, Kill Rush can knock us out.(Us as in you and i)

Well, we could always switch up, and have someone else be the attacker. Aka, someone who deals less, so no one gets KO'd if it bounces back to them. The downside would be that whittling its HP would take us longer in that case.

Edit: There is also the option of someone jumping in and taking the damage instead if it targets either of you. Afterall, it being a single target attack means we can do that. However...not if we guard, so yeah. Those two cancel out in that case.
