Boom? [Mae]

"Phew..." Luckily Sharaku was a pretty understanding, and patient man. Had it been someone more... Jumpy, they might've corrected Mae. Not that it would've been that big of a deal anyway. "Very demanding would be the proper term for it. And no, I wouldn't exactly call them friends if that was the case." Mae seemed to be able to get along with almost anyone she met. Although, things had been going sour lately for her and Charles, but that was pretty much the only fallout she ever was a part of in a very long time.

"Yeah. At least it is to us. Not everyone thinks that way though..." It used to be quite the problem back in the day. Heck, even today, in Japan, westerners wasn't always well recieved over there... Which was a shame. Why should just a simple change in Skin-color change so much about how one was percieved in certain countries? To both Mae and Ayane, such a thing was pretty trivial. They knew very well that it was the person that mattered, not the appearance. "O-Oh... You think s-so?!" Mae's heart skipped a beat there for a split second. That she had not expected. Sure, Ayane was butting in a bit into their buissness, but Mae didn't mind. With a shy smile, she looked at Sharaku. "T-Thanks, Sharaku..."

"Well that's good at least, ehehe." Mae said happily, but her thoughts were quite different. // He wasn't bored? Is that a good or a bad thing? // Her mind was racing, trying to decipher what Sharaku meant exactly. "Y-Yeah, Right." Mae nodded lightly in response. "I'll try not to worry too much." But a part of her couldn't help it... "Let's see here..." Ayane said as she took a look at her watch. "11:26 PM" She would then announce shortly after. "I guess we should be going home then..." Mae said, somewhat saddened. She didn't want to leave Sharaku just yet, but it was getting rather late after all. At least she could see him again whenever, Right? Hopefully.

The two girls said goodbye to Sharaku before they left the club, and headed straight home. Mae's head was filled with happy thoughts. Sharaku, eh? She had come to like him quite a bit more than she expected... "So... You wanna crash at my room in the refugee center?" Ayane asked Mae. She nodded with a smile. "Sure." Right now, Charles apartment was the last place she needed to visit. What if he was at home? She honestly didn't want to take that discussion with him now. Not when she was this happy.
