Get Out [Day 1: Nighttime]

Once getting hit by the blast of fire, the beast would be sent back onto its backside in a sprawled position. Somehow this man had struck its only weakness, and the beast cursed because of it. With the attacks from the Greek Goddess and the little wench, it still could not put up a plausible counter attack. And thanks to the Holy Stab from the Goddess, the beast would be lured into a charmed state, where its obedience was temporarily put in the wench's favor. With it being downed by its weakness and charmed, it literally had nothing it could do at the moment. It was under the mercy of the pathetic humans it was hired too kill. Meanwhile through this predicament, a mysterious figure stood upon the rooftop of the building and watched the scene below. Since it was dark, they could not be seen, so they took no attempt at hiding themselves from common view. It was unknown who this figure was or why they were watching, but they seemed to be extremely entertained at the circumstance.

Masa was surprised and happy that the beast was knocked over and he came out unscathed. He then saw Yukino use her Persona, too! She could really fight! He decided to take this opportunity while the monster was down and use the attack again. He summoned his Persona by dialing the number and pressing the phone to his ear. He would launch another fire ball at his enemy using Selbstmord, his Persona. He watched the fire blast into the enemy as he rushed forward with his mighty crowbar. He would bash the enemy with it. It certainly wouldn't do as much as Yukino, but at least he was able to do a little more damage with his. He wasn't going to die today, he wouldn't let it happen.

When Yukino took notice that the beast was down and vulnerable, she would clench a fist with a wide grin. "Alright, Athena! Let's give this guy one hell of an attack!" Launching off her left foot in a stride, she'd send her right directly into the beast's face. Kicking off this foot, she'd land and send two more kicks into the beast's head. Her hand would once again dial the help of her Persona, and appearing above like the Goddess she was, Athena would plummet down and stab the beast straight through the chest with its spear. Once its attack was complete, it'd vanish in a storm of angel feathers. Yukino would back away from the beast with a raised brow. Was this what she was so worried about? Ha! Demons were nothing! With Carmen out of the way of combat, Yukino had no reason to play it safe any more. Whaling out on this demon was good enough!

Even though the creature had survived the gauntlet of attacks, it was charmed and obviously couldn't fight back. Basically, it had loss this fight by chance. The figure that watched on the school building would snap its fingers and cause the demon to disappear in a fit of flames. The mysterious figure would hover into the air before vanishing in their own fit of flames. Yukino and Masa had earned their survival this night. No students were lost in the attack on the school, by either luck or divine intervention.

Masa sighed in relief as the monster disappeared. He thought that this fight was the hardest thing that he had to do in his entire life. But at the same time, he felt alive. In almost dying, he felt alive. It was something that hasn't happened for the longest time. He felt that he was able to do what he wanted now. He didn't feel as depressed as he had before. But this wasn't without trouble. This was the end of the world, it wasn't like everything was happy now.

He looked around for Yukino. It was still dark, so he could hardly see anyone, or anything for that matter. He looked at his phone. His battery was still pretty good, so he was okay to search around for it a little. He wondered if Carmen was okay. He called out a little for her, hoping to find her, but it was dark, hopefully she would be safe. He didn't call for long, he didn't want to attract any unwanted attention.

He would check out his phone after calling a few times, he couldn't call out forever. He looked over the Death Mail from earlier today. He saw the four names and the note on the various others. He hoped that they were all okay. He knew that he and Yukino were still alive, so there was at least another survivor out there. He wondered if the others were okay. If anything, their names had a lot of meaning to it. Yukino and Masa were both on that list, so were the other two. Could it be possible that the other two were just like them? Masa thought about it, but there wasn't much proof of it. He would be excited if there were other survivors. If there were, then they could work together, hopefully.

He poked around to other parts of the app. He looked over his Persona, got familiar with what it could do. He made sure that he would know what to do for next time. It seemed like he could hit multiple enemies at one time, but he would have problems if he had to focus on one. He couldn't tell what the Persona's name was from, either. It certainly came from another language, but he couldn't quite tell what the language was. It didn't matter, it was always something to look up once this lock down was over.

Lastly, it was the message board that he would quickly look at. He looked over the questions that were sent in from others. He found a few of the questions interesting. He couldn't tell who sent them, but there was one that particularly piqued his interest. The person who asked the question was wondering what caused the lock down. The person told him to meet in front of the church. Masa thought about going to the church tomorrow, but he would wait and see what would happen in the morning. If there was something big that would happen, he could skip that for now. He still had his question for tomorrow if he needed it.

There was also the answerer of his own question. There was no sender name. He wondered who sent him it. The sender was certainly different from the others. He could tell by the way he "spoke" to him. He wondered how this mysterious person knew about the monster, but he didn't worry about it so much. What bothered him was that the monster was sent to kill him by someone. He read that in another question. He didn't know who this Administrator was, hopefully he was a good person, even though he sent a huge monster after him. Too many questions, not enough answers.

Right now, he just wanted to know if Yukino and Carmen were okay. That was the main concern right now. He didn't care if there were questions that needed to be answered. That didn't matter to him. As long as the other two were okay, then he could focus on these questions that may not be answered.

When the demon disappeared, Yukino raised her arm with a smug grin. "Yea you better run you punk! I won't let you get away so easily!" She punched her left fist into her right palm and took off in a sprint towards the gates of the school. Summoning Athena once more, she'd use the Persona to burst down the gates and leave the school in an all out sprint. If demons were popping up like this, things were certainly going to hell. An Oketsu in a land without structure was maddening. She needed to fix these things! Well, she survived the night, but if she was going to work to lift this lockdown with minimum casualties, she'd need to work fast and hard at a solution. Well first, she'd need information on why the lockdown occurred in the first place.

Masa yelled after Yukino to stop, but he supposed that she was far gone. He didn't know what to do. He doubted that he would sleep anywhere tonight. With Reijo around, he may still want to kill Masa. Masa sighed as he looked for Carmen, but she was nowhere to be found. He gave up to look for a tree to spend the rest of the night in. Hopefully, he could find some shelter so he could get some sleep. Trees were too risky anyway. He sighed once more as he looked for a place to sleep. He would try to lift this lock down, he was done with escaping.
