Everyone was so...small. Rio scanned the area around him, trying to untangle himself from one of the long scarf tails he usually had hanging behind him. For some reason, the thing would just not come off. He was mumbling and grumbling loudly, sticking out from the crowd not only because of the large amount of movement he was making, but because of his height as well. And his odd appearance. Not to mention there weren't that many people around to begin with. With a yelp of triumph, he finally got untangled, only to fall over.

"Argh! Sometimes I wonder why I even wear these things...", he grumbled out loudly, standing back up and brushing himself off. He looked bored, and his presence in the area was overbearing. Leaning back, he started singing to himself softly, Japanese sounding words leaking out from his mouth at high speed. A large smile spread across his face, and the way he was tilting his head up toward the sky made it look kind of creepy, even if that wasn't his goal.

"You seem rather coordinated don't ya? a young man standing much shorter then Rio approaches him on the street holding a large bundle of fliers. The young man raises an eyebrow as he takes in Rio's odd and frankly off putting appearance. He chuckles to himself slightly and holds out a hand to help Rio up," Name's Jack stranger what's yours?"

Regardless of weather Rio let the young man with long black hair help him up, the young man thrust one of his fliers towards Rio," YOu seem like a strong strapping young man, who has nothing to lose and everything to gain, ya ever think of giving back to your fair city!"

Rio rubbed his head a bit and sighed, taking the hand and standing up with a nod. He gave Jack a blank look, which he moved to the flier before taking it and raising an eyebrow. "The...featherman rangers?", he asked quizzically, readjusting one of his scarves. "Oh, it's um, it's Rio Corvish.", he said, still giving the flier a look of curiosity mixed with disdain, forgoing the mention of his full name for the nickname he preferred a lot more. It was like he was trying to summon up the ability to care, and he was succeeding, but slowly.

It was true that he had nothing to lose, but he didn't really see the need to gain anything either. He had thought of giving back to the city, but the last time he tried, they got mad at him for painting a lady's house light pink instead of the dark brown she truly wanted. Which wasn't his fault! Dark brown, hah! Pink looked much better anyway.

"Ah! So he dose speak, I was beginning to wonder if you had the ability to utter a single word, and to my complete and utter amazement you do! Congratulations on your stunning achievement in the utterance of your name Rio," A playful smirk was stuck on Jack's face as he handed Rio a flier. The entierty of the flier read.
